Reviews of local pros in Celina, Texas

Went through 3 other ac companies to fix air flow issues to each room. 1st choice fixed us up in less than an hour and all my rooms have even flow now. Highly recommended for ALL AC needs

These guys are great. Very honest and professional. They went over all the options they had to replace our hot water heater and replaced it very quickly. We can’t thank them enough.

Great service. I was thoroughly pleased with the work they did for my AC and heating.

If you need any and all HVAC work, call 1st Choice HVAC. They are simply amazing. knowledgeable and friendly. They will get you back to comfortable quickly. Highly recommended. They had my issue diagnosed within 20 minutes. After deciding on replacing the unit, instead of the repair, they had me on the schedule for the very next day. We have found our HVAC company for life.

Great company! They showed up exactly when they said they would, were clean and professional, and did an excellent job. Everything was handled efficiently and with care. Highly recommend!

I have used 1st Choice for both HVAC and now plumbing, courtesy of the recent subfreezing weather. They also installed a new HVAC system for me last fall. Their technicians are very professional, knowledgeable, and explain what they are doing. Great service! This is also my new go-to company for HVAC and plumbing needs!

Josh did great job, professional on time cleaned up after himself. Top 3 and I’m leaning on making his company go to guys. Wanting him as the tech we always ask for

Next day service, arrived as scheduled, appreciated Stormy putting on shoe covers before coming in, good communication and advice. Provided a quick, conservative, low cost HVAC solution ($4,000 less than another company's recommendation). AND they do plumbing too!! 1st Choice will now be my first call!

After having no hot water and desperate to get it replaced fast, I did a quick search and found 1st Choice HVAC and Plumbing right here in Prosper.
I loved that a very professional lady answered the phone and was able to get me same day service.
Not only that , she called me and I was able to get an earlier appointment. That’s great customer service. I felt that she understood my immediate need and 1st Choice definitely delivered.
Their service was quick, efficient, and affordable. I now have a brand new hot water heater and will be forever grateful to the team at 1st Choice !! I will be using them for all my plumbing and heating needs. I will be using them for all my A/C services too. Thank you again.

1st Choice has been handling all our HVAC and plumbing for years. I had a problem with my heater when I tested it before this first cold front of the season, and Steven had his guys out here quick and took care of it. Very reasonably priced as well. Especially with the quick service response. Would highly recommend.

One of my systems stopped working over a holiday weekend in the summer last year. I called 1st Choice and they sent a technician out the same day. It turned out my entire system had expired (it was 14 years old) and I needed to replace it. 1st choice was back the next day at the time they said they would be (this is very important to me) with a brand new system. Their technicians were courteous, extremely well trained, and removed the old system piece by piece from an extremely hot attic. They rebuilt the much better system back in the attic. I felt so badly for them. They were working HARD. They replaced the condenser outside and were finished soup-to-nuts in only a few hours. They even installed my new controller on the wall and taught me how to use it. The system has been flawless for well over a year now. I have been very impressed and very happy that companies still exist that actually do exceptional work with great customer service that doesn't make you feel like you are a burden to them. I will definitely call 1st Choice again in the future when I need them.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’ve been using 1st Choice Plumbing and HVAC for years across all of my properties, and they have consistently provided outstanding service. Their communication is top-notch; they always keep me informed and respond quickly to any inquiries. Whether it’s a minor repair or a major installation, their turnaround time is impressive, and they always get the job done right the first time. What really sets them apart is their commitment to standing behind their work — if there’s ever an issue, they handle it promptly and professionally. I highly recommend 1st Choice for anyone looking for reliable, high-quality plumbing and HVAC services!

Could not have been happier with the service! James from the 1st Choice Plumbing side of the house arrived on time and was in and out in less than an hour. He quickly -- VERY quickly -- identified the problems and made the repairs without incident.

The customer service is exemplary, as well. Dakota (Deeta) was able to schedule the visit for the next day and followed up the day after the repairs to ensure we were satisfied with the service.

As I said, we could not have been happier with 1st Choice and are thrilled to have our neighborhood HVAC and plumbing service on speed dial!

A/C unit wasn’t blowing cold air so I called them and had a tech out before lunch. They had cold air blowing very quickly. Great locally owned company that does great work! Will use them for all our hvac and plumbing needs.

1st Choice should be everybody’s first choice! They came in and saved the day when we had an emergency plumbing situation - the service and response was amazing! Since then, we signed on to have regular HVAC preventive service through their program, and have really enjoyed the level of care given to our system. The team seems to have a great deal of pride in their honesty and integrity - which is something we value highly in a service provider. They are efficient and thorough - a very professional company.
Really glad we made the switch to 1st Choice HVAC and Plumbing!!!

Happy I finally found a reliable HVAC company. They actually fix the problem and didn't over charge us. We had 3 other companies and they couldn't fix the problem with the air flow. I highly recommend. They come out fast and they make you a priority in this Texas heat.

1st Choice HVAC and Plumbing has been amazing. Our upstairs unit needed to be replaced. They were efficient and very respectful. After the job was complete, they called to make sure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend this company.

Great local family company! They are quick, very responsive and work hard to make sure everything is done right the first time. We have utilized the HVAC and plumbing side and we’re overall very happy with both. Will absolutely be long time costumer. Highly recommend!

I can’t express enough how happy we are we went through this company. Stormy was so helpful and answered every single question I had, and I had a lot. I would 100% recommend going through this company. Customer service is through the roof!!! It’s very overwhelming when you’re dealing with AC issues, especially in the summer in Texas. Stormy not only came and diagnosed and fixed our problem incredibly fast, he also offered ideas on how to help us get through the small wait we had, and he absolutely did not have to do that. If you’re reading this and looking for some AC help- take this as your sign that you have found the right place! Ask for Stormy while you’re at it!!!!

1st Choice has been incredible help with our commercial plumbing needs. Hands down great customer service and reliable.

They came out same within a few hours and accurately diagnosed and fixed the issue. This was a second opinion on our AC unit problems, and I am so glad I got one. The first company (which I won’t name but is very slick and prominent) did not fix a very simple issue and recommended several thousand dollars of overpriced work. 1st Choice HVAC and Plumbing was honest, straightforward, and resolved the problem in 15 minutes! I couldn’t be happier-this is an honest company and isn’t trying to upsell anything. Nice to come across honest people in the HVAC business.
