Superb service from Josh - fixed out HVAC system in no time. Very professional and highly recommend.

My daughter’s hair was getting stuck in our garbage disposal and causing the dishwasher to backup. The dishes were piling up! I found 1st choice hvac and plumbing during a google search and I will be using them for any future needs! They were prompt, reasonably priced and quick to fix our issue.

Called the company out for the first time to get my heating fixed, they showed up in a timely manner and made all the necessary repairs. Definitely will use them again in the future!

First red flag... They made me pay $750 in advance (ontop of whatever my Home Warranty paid them). They showed up for a small leak, were incredibly rude, somehow managed to get mud splattered 12 feet up the front of my house, and then leave without a word. I come home and my yard and neighborhood is flooded, my house has no water at all. Won't answer their phone all weekend. When they do, they tell me they won't come out until I pay an additional $1300 upfront. After 4 days with no water I have another plumber come out. He replaced everything for $475. Blake set me up with a new nice water spigot built into the wall, a new easy cut off valve, really does above and beyond. There was no new digging needed. Just needed a plumber who wasn't trying to scam me. Please listen to me... Don't call 1st Choice. Call Blake. He is local in Denison and easy to google.

Josh was amazing, super fast, kept me up to date every step of the way, and even took the time to explain how the new thermostat functions. Would highly recommend!

One of the employees driving a company van almost caused a major accident driving like a maniac. After speeding off after almost hitting another car they were not paying attention AGAIN and tried to merge into the lane I was driving in on top of my car almost causing another accident that would have totaled my car and injured who knows how many people. When I tried to call the company to report the unsafe driver they don’t even give you an option to speak to a person or leave a voicemail, you just get left on hold indefinitely while classical music plays on the other line. Get better drivers!!!! You guys SUCK!!!

Stormy was fantastic. He assessed me the issue and offered suggestions and quoted a very accurate price then came out and did the work. Excellent work, professional, and a nice guy. I’ll ask for him, specifically in the future.

These guys are the best! Jimmy came out and fixed our two-year-old AC unit that the builder never registered under warranty—something three other companies couldn’t do and instead tried to sell us a whole new system. Jimmy also redid the plumbing and repaired the copper line from inside the house to the unit that the builder had kinked. I can’t say enough good things about this company. If you want honesty, professionalism, and quality work, hire them.

The team at 1st choice is always great. Fair and honest team with very competitive prices. We recently called them to service our water heater and they were able to get it installed same day and the price was lower than 3 other quotes we received. Great company and we will continue to use for all our HVAC and plumbing needs!!

These guys care! took the time to help up through our plumbing issues. There diagnosis was thorough! They gave us a price to fix it and got to work immediately to get our plumbing needs fixed a running again! Highly recommended!

Amazing plumbers, with a solid background on HVAC as well. Currently involved in a new construction build - they were top notch. Assisted with plans and inspections too. No issues with the clock, the job moved along better than expected.

So this company was assigned through my home warranty company to replace my hot water heater. I Paid this company 1200 dollars (in conjunction with what the home warranty paid them) for a water heater install that is leaking 7 months later.

When I called them to alert them to the problem, they refused to honor the “one (1) year workmanship (hands on pipe repair) warranty” that is listed on their own estimate that I signed prior to the install. They claim since it was installed with the home warranty that their workmanship warranty does not apply and I would have to pay an additional fee just for them to come look at it.

Now I'm having to pay and get it fixed with another company. The new company told me even when they work with home warranty companies, their work still includes a standard 1 year warranty so what this company is telling me is incorrect.

After saying all of this, I would stay far away from this company.

Great company to deal with! Professional, on time, tidy and the techs explain everything in detail and show you before and after the work. James (from Plumbing) flushed out a very old hot water heater to get rid of tons of debris and Stormy & Josh (from the HVAC department) cleaned the heating systems and made repairs to fix issues the previous owners left unattended.

AIRMAX is THE BEST! They came to check my AC for the Summer Heat. And RUSTY told me something I’ve never heard of Repairman say “EVERYTHING is GOOD! ITS WORKING LIKE IT SHOULD!! “ What Great Good News! He could’ve charged me for Freon that I didn’t need; he could’ve made up some kind of excuse for a hose that I did NOT need. I was really impressed!! And They send a photo of the Repairman, so if you’re alone with your babies, no problem!

I definitely felt that Blake came in and answered all of my questions and I felt like the answers were true and correct with what my problem is. I will definitely be using Blake with Airmax very soon once I am able to schedule an appointment.

Very good. On time and knowledgeable about the problem. Estimate too high due to not enough deduction for coils that’s in warranty? Airmax pricing issue!

My heater was having issues and they were very quick to get me scheduled as soon as possible. I was kept informed of the appointment which is very important to me as I had to leave work to meet the tech. The technician came as promised. Everything went smoothly and I am very pleased. I will certainly use this company again.
