Dont call them for anything.
Anyone who treats employees like Mike Finn does, doesn't deserve customers... -
God bless these folks! Our Well Water pump failed us at 5 PM. I made a call at 5:30 and they were there working on it within 30 minutes. They were wonderful folks and I would definitely recommend them to others. The price was excellent. To be honest, I feel that they undercharged us when they said the price, but I was not going to argue. We had our water running by 9 pm with their diligent work. Thank you gentlemen for everything you did to help us out. We will definitely be using you again!

My mother and step dad told us to call them, that they have had great experiences with them, so we gave it a shot. And she was so right! They were fast, super friendly, knew their stuff, and a great price! So glad my mom told me to call! Excellent service!!

I wanted to give a shout out to Corbyn who came out to fix a valve leak on my water heater. While here he noticed it wasn't up to code. He explained the safety issues and was thorough in checking everything out. For a fair price, he was able to fix what was needed in a timely manner. He did a professional, clean job and I am very satisfied with the results. Thank you Corbyn!

During a recent real estate listing process in Conroe, I decided to opt for a local plumbing company, Conroe Plumbing, instead of my regular Houston-based service, hoping it would contribute positively to my local engagement. Regrettably, this decision did not meet my expectations.
Upon encountering plumbing issues at the property—lack of water in the primary bathroom and kitchen—I engaged Justin from the company, who hypothesized the problem stemmed from clogged galvanized pipes. He estimated a few hours for purging and unclogging. Initially, his approach seemed promising, as I witnessed some progress in the kitchen within the first hour. However, after leaving him to complete the task, I was billed for four hours of labor without a noticeable resolution.
Further communication with the company was frustrating. Despite repeated inquiries about the invoice and the effectiveness of the service rendered, responses were lacking. Upon personal inspection, the issues remained unresolved, with still no water flow in the kitchen and primary. The subsequent recommendation to re-pipe the entire house, presented without preliminary success in simpler remedies, was disheartening. Particularly concerning was the financial aspect—being charged four hours substantially for an inconclusive service that concluded with an advice typically provided at a minimal cost or free by other firms.
Moreover, interactions with Mike, the owner, compounded my dissatisfaction. When he called, I was busy in the meeting and responded to him with a text as “Can I call you back?”. He followed up by 6 more calls back-to-back and then a text starting “With all due respect sir” (this is when you know he starts insulting you). As soon as I was free, I called back. His approach to customer service, marked by a patronizing tone disguised as politeness, was unprofessional and off-putting.
In conclusion, my experience with this local plumbing company was markedly unsatisfactory. The questionable billing, and problem resolution was disappointing. This incident underscores the significance of due diligence in selecting service providers, especially in the context of real estate dealings where efficiency and reliability are paramount. My advice to others would be to seek well-reviewed, transparent, and efficient service providers to avoid similar predicaments. This is a company I would not recommend, based on my experience of inadequate service and poor customer engagement. -
Last winter, I had to call Conroe Plumbing during a winter emergency when a water pipe burst. Their response was excellent—prompt and efficient, which was a relief in such a stressful situation. The pricing was fair, especially given the urgency of the repair.
I later called them back for a significant gas line leak, and they quickly identified that I needed to replace the entire line, and also my water heater, which (as we knew) was not up to code. They provided a "flat rate quote" right away. While the price was a shock given our limited budget, due to the hardship of the situation, I trusted their expertise and decided to go ahead with the work.
The technicians were friendly and very helpful throughout the process. They completed the job well, and we were only without gas for five days, which we appreciated.
However, we've since had the job quoted between $2500-$3500 less than what we paid. My mistake was giving into the urgency, and not asking for a detailed quote or getting multiple bids. -
I called them to make an appointment for someone to come repair my toilet. A very nice woman, Kelly, put me on a brief hold and told me that someone would be there within 20 minutes. They were!! A Polite man came and I gave him a brief description of the problem over the phone. He fixed two problems for me and took payment over the phone. Great customer service!

Roger came over and fixed my problem. I was impressed with the time and price. We will definitely use them if we have a problem again.

We've used Conroe Plumbing three times now. Easy to get in touch with, quick response, quality work at a fair price. We've used several plumbers over the past 10 years and Conroe Plumbing is now our go to.

At 4:00 pm (of course) on Tuesday my kitchen sink backed up. After calling a couple other plumbers in my area that were busy, I called Conroe Plumbing. The lady that answered the phone was so friendly and said she could have somebody there by 4:30 or 5:00 pm. Corbyn and his apprentice Evan arrived promptly around 4:45. Both were very friendly and professional! It took a little while, but the line was cleared and the cost was very reasonable! I will keep them in my contact list for sure!

If I could give 0 stars I would. It started last night when my punch guy/handyman cut a stub out line for my whole house water filtration system. The line was Pex material and he didn't have the proper tools to make the connection. It's a new construction house so I wasn't concerned that there wasn't water running to the house last night but wanted to line up a plumber for today (I'm the builder). I called Conroe plumbing and described the situation. The lady on the phone scheduled the appointment, said it would be $125 trip charge, $85 for each additional hour and $35 more if they brought a "helper"....then said she would get a plumber to call me to make sure they could do the work. 90 minutes later he called. I told him the situation and even texted him a photo of the pipe. He said no worries, they had the tools, and it would take one guy less than an hour. The next morning on time a young man showed up with a "helper". I showed them to the garage and he began looking at the pipe. From the onset I knew I was in trouble. This kid knew nothing and the helper knew even less. They made 3 trips to their truck, then a 25 minute phone call to their office telling someone over the phone all about the job and asking what to do. He walked back into the garage to tell me the repairs would take all day, because he DIDN'T HAVE THE TOOLS so he had to go back for the right tools and parts, and because it was so complicated he would be charging me $700. Please see pictures below. I told him "no thanks and have a blessed day". $125+ tax = wasted. I then called Moore plumbing supply and talked to them. I drove over purchased 2 shark bite connectors and a section of CPVC (I paid for 10 feet but only needed about 2 feet). Total cost $58 and time taken in the garage to bring water back on by myself = 15 minutes. I'm sure they have helped a lot of people in the community but I shudder to think of the lies and the costs.
Update: Today the owner contacted me and apologized for the experience. He stated that there was miscommunication between himself and his worker and wanted to make the situation right. He has offered to refund the trip charge and even went so far as to hold a meeting with his staff using this as a "teachable moment" and vowing to offer more value to his customers. Even though my experience wasn't good their response let me know that was an isolated event and they will work to do the right thing. -
