I walked into our newly purchased home and found standing water.
I called Servpro of Coppell and within 30 mins Sean and Jarrod were at my house and quickly got to work. They are so punctual and knowledgeable, as well as personable and patient. They thoroughly discussed what work they were doing and why and were a huge help in assisting us with filing the claim with our insurance. I can't thank them enough for coming to the rescue and being so professional and friendly in such an unpleasant situation. If you're ever in a similar situation, I would strongly suggest you ask for these guys by name:)

Called after hours and spoke to a human, nice. I didn’t get the expected call about an appointment time so I followed up. Chris B was our person on-site. He assessed the water flooding in our crawlspace and shared his thoughts. The water had drained away, was still damp. He discussed that the crawlspace was serving its purpose and no work needed at this time - more rain coming. We might benefit from a dehumidifier but not necessary as would only be temporary.

Thanks for not selling us into something we don’t need. Thanks for explaining water and flooring issues.

Jim and Marco of Servpro were here today to clean and deconstruct our dining room after a major flood. They found mold and were able to contain it and eliminate it through a series of processes. Their work was done exceptionally well and they were great to work with. The place was left clean And in tiptop shape. Thank you, sir and most importantly thank you Jim and Marco.

Sean Killingsworth and the ServPro team did a fantastic job cleaning up a flood we had at a commercial business. Sean was out in an emergency situation on a Sunday evening, staying through the night with his team to extract all the water. They did an amazing job drying out the building while still allowing us to remain open most days. I can’t say enough great things about the ServPro team and Sean. Thanks for a great job!!

Our water heater started leaking which led to water damage in our house (laundry room, living room). ServPro was very quick to come out. Justin and Jimmy were great. Good people. Justin patiently answered a lot of my questions, given that it was the first time we were going through this and were stressed. Jimmy gave us some honest and straightforward advice which saved us quite a bit of time & money. Good company. They're patient, set your mind at ease and do a good job. Don't hesitate to call ServPro of Plano.

We had flooding in our home, and Eli, along with the entire Servpro contents team, worked hard to help us with mitigation and recovery. They were professional, efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. Eli and his team were always there to assist us, making a stressful situation much more manageable. We are so grateful for then! Highly recommend Servpro for any restoration needs!

Zach and Dom have been so professional and helpful in helping me walk through the water mitigation process. I am thankful for their transparency and explanation of everything taken place. I felt confident in their quality and outcome of their work. During a chaotic time, they really helped me feel taken care of.

Had a 20k Sq ft flood of about 1 to 2 inches, called them, 30 minutes later they came out, worked up numbers and 3 crews showed up and bam, with in 7 hours all was extracted. Highly recommend

Robertson's did a great job from start to finish. Communicated well and the quality is top notch. I've worked with other pool companies and for the quality and service they are definitely one of the best.

The service we received from Robertson Pools was abysmal when we refinished our pool. They indicated that we could choose the coping, but, alas, we returned home one day and they had installed what has to be the most inexpensive and ugly flagstone they had in the shop. We asked them why they didn't let us know they were going to do that so we could choose the coping. They said - call the sales guy. We did. He said call the installer. Can you say run-around? Then we say that we would not pay for that coping, so they said they would put a lien on our home until we paid. Then, when it was time to lay the concrete, their piping was red-tagged by the city. Robertsons refused to come out and fix the issue. So I had Richard Platz and Golden Pools come out and fix the problem so that the plumbing would pass the pressure test. Richard Platz and Golden Pools were amazing. Robertsons, was simply awful to deal with - we could never speak to a person that would take responsibility for helping us. It was always someone else's fault - even though whosever fault it was was in the Robertsons organization. Simply abysmal.

This is the kind of contracting company you fear having to deal with.
We contracted them to remodel our pool and backyard. The project started in 8/2014 and is nearly finished in 3/2015. That is seven months when we were told to expect about 6 weeks.
The source of the problem with them is lack of project management and a contract that permits them to be paid fully before the work is done leaving the customer with little leverage to get a job done correctly.
Besides the additional damage they did to our house in the process, (a 6'x4' window was destroyed and a patio demolished that wasn't supposed to be) the major delays were caused by their random appearances for work and constantly holding their hands out for the next payment. Payments were held as long as possible, because they felt they could demand the next one without actually finishing the phase they were on.
Now we are arguing with them about fixing a 10 foot crack in the deck they poured. Their contract claims that is not covered under warranty. So, basically they are stating to not expect a quality job from them.
    Don't use this company.

After spending $14k on equipment replacement. Had a service call within our warranty period. Wasn't told we would be charged. They charged our cc on file w no communication about it and then accused us of tampering w the wiring when we called to say this was a warranty issue. Very unprofessional and rude. Never use again.

After your response, I want to make it perfectly clear to everyone..we DID NOT receive any email or communication about what our credit card was being billed. If we had we could have addressed this at that time. It was only after I received our cc bill that I was aware that you charged us for this call. So again, basically calling us liars. Your business practices are par for the world we live in. Absolutely no decent customer service. We will continue to "advertise " for you.

Our sales person Nick was fantastic and we are very happy with our pool. I'm in the home building business and have made several referrals to Robertson Pools. Their weekly cleaning service also makes pool ownership easy to maintain.

We suffered frozen pool equipment from the terrible Texas freeze . It resulted in our having to replace our pump, heater, filter and pipes. Robertson Pools was very responsive and were able to inspect our pool within days which was amazing considering the number of customers needing their help. Robert inspected the damage and advised me of the extreme backlog on parts but told me he'd do his best to get what we needed as soon as he could. In less than a week, PJ came out with a replacement pump & filter. When he fired things up, he found some other issues and needed to replumb some of the pipes and fittings. One of the fittings was unavailable and on extreme back order. JP searched high and low and found what he needed. He came back out right away and we are now up and running. I highly recommend Robertson Pools and really appreciate Robert, JP and the team for their care and service.

Just be aware of who you're dealing with. They don't do their homework and they don't set expectations. The sales guy, Tony Martin, arrived at my house an hour early and was rude because I wasn't ready for him. He took one measurement and told me he could build a 5 foot pool for $100,000. He was so snarky that I asked him to leave. I called and spoke to the Operations Manager, Dave Campbell, who didn't seem bothered by how rude and ridiculous the sales guy was and told me to find another pool builder. So if you like lazy contractors, who don't do their homework and are afraid to do the hard work, you should pick Robertson pools. Otherwise, pick another builder just like Dave Campbell told me to do. Good Luck!

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend their services.

What a horrible run organization. I signed.a contract in November of 2021 with a swim date of June 2022. They broke ground in January of 22 and made a horrible mess. They worked on my pool maybe 1 or 2 days a month and NEVER finished the job.

David the job superintendent would seldom return a call or text and was never helpful, very short like I was only a customer and not important.

Marie in scheduling I think tried to be helpful in letting me know when someone should be coming to do something, but was derailed by something else behind the scenes. She would let me know a date but never update me when things changed. Which was almost every time they came out.

They had trouble meeting city of Euless building guidelines and couldn’t get inspections correct. David seemed too busy to mess with my pool or inspections.

Equipment was ordered November 15th 2021 by what they told me, but in June 2022 it didn’t seem to be on hand. I had already been told the equipment was in their warehouse in April. So I guess they used it on someone else’s pool and reordered mine. So we lost another month waiting on the equipment.

I went to their office to talk in person to the person in charge. Another David, he was very unhappy that a customer would come to his office and interrupt his day. He told me how they had done everything as contracted for including sending me his timeline that I never received. When he checked the email it was sent to the wrong address even after I had had emails with Marie in scheduling. But his system was wrong. David should not be running an ice cream stand. His customer skills are zero, and seems like his organization and delegation skills are also zero.

They finally got the pool running about August 8th. Now just think about having a new that you can’t run the pool sweep for the first 30 days so the plaster can cure, and them not provide a vacuum. So after spending $88,000 I had to go out and buy a pool vacuum.
My pool is not very large due to the yard size and no hot tub or elaborate features but cost $88,000 and get the worst service and attitude possible.

As of today in September they still have not come out and finished 1 small item they said they would repair a month ago.

I BUILT THIS HOME IN LESS TIME THAN THEY TOOK TO BUILD A SIMPLE POOL.

Worst service experience ever. We hired them to fix cracks in the coping and replace the caulk around our pool. They came out and met with the wife. They wrote a contract (decent price) and had to have both husband and wife sign (that's a red flag in my mind I am a service contractor and that has NEVER been done to me before). We both signed, sent the deposit and waited.

First guy comes out and sprays sealant on the coping and half does the caulk. Left the few 1/8 to 1/4 inch cracks as they were. What happens when water freezes in a crack? It gets bigger.

They never contracted, according to them, to repair the cracks in the coping and we had received exactly what they had contracted to do. I have never been talked to by a supervisor in a company the way the sales supervisor talked to me, routinely. I did end up after several very heated conversations get him to accept responsibility for repairing the few cracks.

The next step, the pool guys showed up with the wrong color grout and filled in the few cracks. We had Dark gray filler on beige (sand) colored grout. Well, that was completely unacceptable.

The next step after several more heated conversations and a site meeting was to Regrout the entire coping with the correct color. Finally, they were almost done. One more guy came out and fixed the bad spots in the caulk around the pool.

The promised they would reseal the coping after the grout was done, they did not. They didn't clean the pool at all. I cleaned out all of the sand in the bottom of the pool. I will reseal the coping, myself. I certainly won't have another heated conversation with a contractor.

It was an ordeal in the end, it started off well but as soon as we signed the contract and paid our deposit everything went downhill.
The staff were very unprofessional and unresponsive- we had to constantly chase them for updates and remind them to come in and meet certain deadlines (which they never did keep).
They did manage to complete the pool in the end but only after causing us an unnecessary amount of stress and disappointment.
On a side note - one of their employees named Daniel approached us privately and sold us a filter that we now know was the completely wrong one, which has now caused long term damage to our pool.
I do not advise anyone to use this company.

I worked with 8 different pool companies, receiving quotes and designs from 7 of them. I highly recommend Robertson Pools. I worked with Tony Martin, he was up front and honest about what could be done and what couldn't (shouldn't) be done. This is important, because the more i learned about pools (this is the second one I built), I realized that companies will promise things that are not possible, or end up costing additional money once you are in the build process. The other thing that is important to note is that the vast majority of pool companies outsource/contract their labor. They have zero control over scheduling the workers and the fact that the workers do not receive a paycheck from the company building the pool has lead to numerous horror stories. 90% of the people who worked on my pool, receive a paycheck from Robertson. My pool was built exactly as I had envisioned, ahead of schedule and I am very pleased. Also, pool companies deal with all of the cities around the metroplex. All cities require build permits, and the requirements from different cities are unique. If the company you choose is not familiar with the permitting process (they all say they are) you could end up waiting 12+ weeks for permits. This happened to a neighbor, who used another pool company. We received our permits ahead of schedule and Robertson was ready to dig my pool ahead of when I was actually ready!! I had to slow them down. Additionally, the service department (routine service) has been great....very timely responses and very nice people to deal with.

Don’t Do Business with Robertson Pools before reading this!

In 1994 I built my first pool with Robertson Pools in Coppell and it was a great experience. Based on that I have steered everybody in the market for a pool to use Robertson Pools. When I needed to remodel my current pool I naturally hired Robertson again. This turned out to be a terrible mistake.
I signed an agreement on May 2nd 2011 and was told the remodel would be complete by mid June. After depositing over $4,000 the start/completion date was pushed back four times. At that time my wife and I decided to wait until 2012 for the remodel.
It took three requests and a personal trip to the corporate office to get my deposit back from Robertson’s. At that time I was told if we started in January of 2012 the job would be completed in four to six weeks so on January 12th we signed another contract which was exactly the same as the 2011 contract and deposited another $4,000.
It’s now August 27th and the job is still not finished.
The pool leaks, the light does not work and the $9,000 plaster job looks like a cheap paint job on a used car.
I tried to call Ron Robertson on several occasions but he never bothered to return my calls. He did set up a time to meet me through one of his workers but then didn’t bother to show up for the meeting.
I have never written this type of review and doubt I will write another but I have lived in Coppell for over 20 years and feel compelled to warn my friends and neighbors about this experience.
I am 57 years old and this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life time.
