Be very careful with this Home Depot contractor, they are bait-and-switch. Home Depot quoted me $3,129 to install 2 x 50 gallon gas water heaters in my home, and dispose of the old heaters. I confirmed that the quoted price included the price of the heaters ($879 each) and install labor. The phone representative told me that there would be additional charges for any code updates that needed to happen, which is understandable. Today the plumber from Same Day Water Heaters showed up, and he told me that I needed the shutoff ball valve replaced, gas line with sediment trap replaced, and the water heater drip pan replaced. The plumber then created a quote for $4,750 dollars. There’s NO WAY the items and labor he needed to install can cost $1,620 dollars. The plumber knew what he was doing was nefarious, because when I questioned the exorbitant cost he literally grabbed his clipboard and walked out the door, he knew, he didn’t even offer to leave the quote for me to examine. Buyer beware….

Same Day Water heater was assigned my warranty repair at 2pm on friday, after several unanswered calls and emails they finally called me on friday night at 8pm told me they would call me Saturday morning, they did not call or respond to email on Saturday. Then finally after I called and emailed the following Monday they finally sent out a technician. The technician (who already had all the diagnostic information that I sent them on Friday) determined the same thing the tec on the phone determine and then told me it would be atleast until Wednesday before they could even order the part. So now I have a house with two Handicapped people and one person who live with a catheter that do not have hot water even after buying the best hotwater on the market less than 1 month ago. So much for SAME DAY HOT WATER HEATERS

I was very pleased with the service I received from Mr Celerino Escobedo. He called and let me know he was on the way to pickup the toilets and would be at my home soon. He did a great job with the installs, and took all of the old stuff away. Thank you for a job well done.

My Mother in law recently passed at a ripe age of 90. I checked her gas hot water heater on Sunday and was shocked to see 2 inches of rust covering the burner. Having used Home Depot before, I went into their site and put in a request for a quote. To my surprise they called back that night and gave me a quote. Monday they came out and installed a new 40 gallon self cleaning 9yr warranty tank. They had to replace the water pipes and drain pan with stainless to meet new Richardson codes. They were in constant contact with me before and after the install which was excellent. Im 71 with a bad back and have replaced 4 heaters over the years. I highly recommend them they gave me 3 heater cost options we picked middle. They hauled away the old unit and scheduled a city inspection. They were very professional, cleaned up after all their work and when we put the house up for sale we know it will pass all inspections!

First off, my service tech was Jonathan Ballew and he did a great job. Now for the story...

I noticed my water heater leaking after a vacation. Called another company and got quotes for $5000 to $9000 dollars. Installation was $1500. I wondered if my Rheem water heater was under warranty and their site said it was. I had previously had Home Depot install it so after talking to Rheem (and getting approval that I was under warranty), I went back to them. They are partnered with Same Day Water Heater so I just did my business with both. End of story, the water heater cost $770 and the installation cost $990. They picked up the water heater at HD and had it installed the next morning. The warranty covered around $500 of the water heater cost. Installation was great. Communication was great. The best part of Ballew was the additional information he gave me regarding going tankless in the future and going over the features of my new water heater. I highly recommend going this route for anyone in the same position.

Seth came out and replaced our water heater in the hallway closet in the same day we called within 2 hours. Great service is hard to find. No issues whatsover. Highly recommend!

Seth was straight forward about the work that needed to be done, worked up a quick & fair quote on the spot. Communiated well with the home warranty people to answer their questions. Worked quickly, was very neat & careful not to damage surrounding area since the water heater was located in a cramped laundry room.

Decker and his partner were awesome. I truly appreciate their work ethic, courtesy and attention to detail. They came in with paperwork ready, quote established, and materials. They gave me good vibes from start to finish...so, I felt comfortable enough to let them work without my observation (which I always do with workers in my home). They finished installing my tank in an hour or a few minutes less. They were far less than other guys I received quotes from to do the same type of installation and my equipment and labor warranty is by far better. I'd recommend them to anyone. I'm glad I was patient and waited for them to come because I almost went with another company, because I needed the work done today. They did it....and, save me time and money. My water heater was 20 years old and all full of minerals. Took a while to empty it. The new one went right in and works excellent. Gary Traversie handled everything like a PRO. If I need anything else he will be my choice for plumbing problems.

It was great to see the plumber come to my home today. Our exhaust stack was not conected to the roof. Not knowing how long it had been disconnected, most likely since we had the roof replaced, we could have been poisening ourselves with carbon dioxide since. Whew, what a relief that he came. I did not receive the plumbers name, buthe was a very kind fellow and had a very good manor about hime. He proceeded to work right away and got a piece from his truck that replaced a certain piece already on the pipe. He was fast, efficient, and very professional. I would recommend this Company, (Same Day Water Heaters) to anyone with a plumbing issue. They are subcontracted through Home Depot, so if you buy something from Home Depot, they will be the company anyway. They are great on their own as well. Richard gave more than exceptional service yesterday when he was installing my water heater! I asked if I had a few moments to sweep after the old unit was removed, before the new one was installed, and he said to just point him to the broom and he would do it. They left no mess at all behind. A very nice install.

I was very pleased with Home Depot on how quickly they were able to get someone in such a short time to come and do an installation of a water heater . Michael from Same Day Water Heaters and Plumbing was very knowledgeable about the water heater installation. He was very polite. He give me a first hand estimate of the cost before getting started and advised me if any extra cost were involved he would let me know . All in all he done an excellent job.
