Take care of him Sears because he is a gem in your industry!

Preventative maintenance on heating/air conditioning system prior to winter. Technician, Collin, arrived early. Collin was professional and knowledgeable. No issues found but outside unit very dirty even with us cleaning the outside about a month ago. Needed professional cleaning from inside out. Price was very affordable. Technician did a fantastic job and cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend.

Hussein followed up with Noah's appointment once the dryer parts were delivered. He appeared to be upset that he had to come here. He questioned why Noah ordered the blower, after hearing the noise. Yet he installed it. He also mentioned that my lint catcher was generic and not the one for my dryer and why Noah ordered that one. That was no reason to give me an attitude. He stated that the lint trap that I had previously doesn't fit. Why wouldn't he order a lint trap to fit the generic catcher. Instead he put gray duct tape on both sides and said that should work. Well it didn't and I couldn't believe he'd do something so stupid. After I washed 2 loads of clothes the lint trap wasn't catching any lint so I think it may cause me to have more problems. I think SEARS should order a lint trap to fit my now GENERIC catcher instead of rigging it with duct tape. As you can see, mine are curved on the end not even. You can see how it stick up out of the slot.
He didn't even have me sign anything. I had tobask him to clean up his mess before he left. I hope he never comes back. -
Angel V. from Sear Appliance Repair came to our home as scheduled and trouble shooted why our air conditioner stopped cooling. He was very professional and explain what happened and how he resolved the issue as well as provided suggestions for preventive maintenance. Thanks Angel, thanks Sears.

When the first guy came out to look at the washer. They had my name under a man’s name, not mine. They had my address wrong. So the guy said, he changed the name and address. He scheduled to come back a week later, had to get parts. So, a different service guy came out and had to call me because the address is still wrong. I guess the name is still wrong because I got a text to do a rating on them in this man’s name
Also, they were suppose to come and fix my refrigerator and washer but they only sent a man that works on washers.
The repair man took around 3 hrs to fix the washer. He was nice and respectful. No problem with the repair guy.
They are over priced. I paid way too much for a water pump on a mini washer, over 600.00 dollars. I found another repair man and he doesn’t charge to diagnose the problem. -
Sears Home Services / Sears Parts Direct managed to turn a simple parts order into a masterclass in operational incompetence. After backordering my part for over three weeks, I cancelled the order and purchased it elsewhere. Problem solved… or so a functional company would think.
Five days later, Sears Parts Direct shipped the cancelled order anyway and charged me for it. Not only did they ship something I explicitly cancelled, they then held my refund hostage until I returned the part - a part I neither ordered nor authorized at that point, and one shipped solely due to their own internal failure.
Let’s be clear: this wasn’t a misunderstanding. This was process FUBAR, start to finish.
As a Sears customer since 1987, I can say without hesitation that this is exactly why Sears went out of business in California. Years of deteriorating in-store service, followed by these same FUBAR online systems, stand as a case study in how legacy brands don’t get disrupted… they self-destruct. Time to bury the dead-customer service and move on - as far as my future business is concerned Sears -RIP.
1/16/2026 Update: 5 phone calls to their customer service resulted in only more frustration, not help. They hid behind their policies and "automation" process. The funny thing is, had they processed my refund when I cancelled as they should have, their would have been no refund to hold hostage. Automation is the elimination of customer service - you can efficiency yourself right out of business. -
My oven wasn't reaching temperature and I'd been guessing on cook times for weeks. The appliance repair technician replaced the igniter and calibrated the temp sensor while he was at it. Baked a chicken that night, first time in a while it actually came out right.

Our washer was banging around so loud during spin cycle, my neighbor texted me. The repairman leveled it, then replaced a worn drum bearing and it runs quieter now than when I first bought it. Didn't expect that.

The kind of tradesperson you genuinely look forward to calling again. The appliance repair technician was relaxed, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable, he explained every step of the dryer repair as he went and made sure I left the conversation understanding what had actually happened. Felt like talking to someone I'd known for years.

Needed my dryer looked at ASAP and they delivered. They arrived within hours, found the issue on the spot, and had it working like brand new before dinner. I was shocked at how affordable it was too. This is now my go-to repair company.
