Samer was punctual, respectful, and transparent! I’m a first-time customer who was looking for a No-BS and reliable AC repairman and I think I found him.

I had an AC drip pan problem that Samer resolved. I’ve had other repairmen come to deal with the issue but were not able to resolve the issue completely. Samer identified the root problem and went above and beyond to resolve it. Samer was very informative and left me with more knowledge and understanding to deal with it myself.

Although I called rather late, Samer with refined air answered and responded to my home quickly. Samer was extremely professional and helpful. He diagnosed the problem and helped me locate pertinent warranty information that aided in getting my unit replaced. I highly recommend Samer and will call him again if I have further HVAC problems.

Samer is the kindest and wisest person to ever fix anything in any house that I have ever lived in. His prices were much lower than the competition, his work was much, much better than anyone I have even heard of, and his expertise was downright amazing. He is much more than an AC repair person. He is more like an AC expert consultant. In a market where many people charge you a hefty fee just to come see what your problem is, only to give you surprisingly bad and even unethical advice, Samer came and gave his assessment of our problem for free, and that assessment--and his advice--was worth a fortune to me. I ended up paying him half (no joke--half!) of what others would have charged me, and I now have the peace of mind of knowing that the problem is permanently fixed. Had I hired the competition, I would have paid more than double (or more!), and it would have been for nothing, because the exact same problem would have reoccurred, for sure, perhaps even weeks later. It is no surprise that Samer is so unusually good at what he does, because he is the kindest person I have ever met. His ultra kindness has driven him to become the most talented and helpful AC person that he could possibly be, and it shows. I wrote this review because I am a teacher, and I have a very limited income. When I read google maps reviews, it is because I am desperately trying to find a diamond in a field of leeches, liars, and thieves. Samer of Refined Air Cooling & Heating is that diamond. Other good people helped me find Samer, and now I am doing my best to help pass the information on to others.

We needed a new HVAC system several weeks ago and we could not be more pleased with the product and service we received from Refined Air Cooling and Heating. Samer came out first and made every effort to repair our old system. When it became clear that was not possible, he explained our options and helped us to make an informed decision on a new one.
As soon as we were ready, Tony and his crew came and installed the new one. They were very courteous, efficient and did an outstanding job in an attic with some serious July heat. Samer quickly diagnosed the issue and replaced the capacitor. He was happy to let me watch each step and ask questions. He even took the time to teach me about amps and a better location for the float switch. Samer and I also talked about our families and the importance of purpose in life. He is a skilled HVAC technician and a great guy!

AC went down after power was restored following hurricane Beryl. Called on Tuesday. Same day service call. Diagnosed the problem in about 20 minutes. Gave me a very reasonable estimate. Came back the next day to replace the broken parts. Up and running again. Zero issues. Very satisfied customer. They were prompt, courteous and the price was reasonable.

We have been customers of South Belt & AC for 15+ years. They take care of 2 houses for our family. A neighbor recommended them and we’ve never used anyone else. They have made repairs, system upgrades and new installs. They tell you what’s on the horizon. Like if your unit is limping along but can get through a summer. Always fair, excellent service. They don’t up-sale you either. Their employees stay, which shows in their service. I recommend them all the time.

Have been using South Belt Airconditioning for many years. Always been very pleased with their service and technical personnel, who are always punctual, personable, and knowledgeable. Office staff have always been very helpful and courteous. Had a warranty issue recently and owner of company called me and had another tech come out to check what was going on. Treated us very fairly cost wise, and had the job completed at our convenience. Would highly recommend this company.

We have used South Belt Air & Heat a total of 2 different times now. They are awesome to work with, they respond in a timely manner and fit you in their busy schedule as quickly as possible. When your AC is out in Houston it’s definitely a problem and I can’t thank them enough for always getting it back up and running. Nick has been great to work with. I don’t believe anyone could have beaten their response time and cost. They are the only company to respond to my after hours call.
I wouldn’t use anyone else as long as they’re available.

We had a wonderful experience, considering it was an 90 degree day! Our technician Nick called and let us know he was running behind and told us he’d still be there after 5pm. He communicated with us the entire time of our service call.

Nick got to our house after 5pm on a Friday, and quickly assessed the AC issue and determined it was a faulty welding issue from the installation. He was able to fix the problem, recharge our Freon, and clear our output line.

He gave us amazing service and we could not thank him enough. We were especially pleased, since we had guests coming in for the weekend.

We have been using South Belt for years! Nick has been our most recent service provider. It’s easy to call and get scheduled and he gives a courtesy call when in route and does a fantastic job. He is super knowledgeable about all things HVAC, courteous and gets the job done. We have had nothing but great experiences for many years with South Belt.

Really great HVAC shop. They fixed me up super quick and for super affordable. I just needed a capacitor, it's that time of year, they had it fixed in about 30 minutes after I called for about a couple hundred bucks. Matt the technician was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Dude was fast too, was done in 5 min flat.

He also recommended I get em back to do a spring cleaning next year to increase the longevity of my units. Love it, great suggestion, doing that for sure. I had another HVAC guy but he's always busy running around town, I was thoroughly impressed with the expeditious service from South Belt. If you're on the south side of town don't hesitate, that 4.9 stars is not a fluke give them a call, they'll fix you up. They just got themselves a new loyal customer.
