Would absolutely avoid at all costs. Initially comes off as friendly and knowledable but then completely changes his attitude when the job is done. I'm very disappointed because I thought I found someone trustworthy and fair to use for all of our house needs.

I used him for one major project and hired him for two additional projects afterwards. His quality of work on our chimney was an extreme disappointment. When my husband and I went to inspect when he had "finished the job" I discovered he did not even finish the job - he left rotting pieces of wood unreplaced.

It's not cheap to get these things done and as much as a business values their hard earned money, so do I. I unfortunately had to call him and argue with him for a ridiculous amount of time to get him to come back and complete the project otherwise he was not going to get paid. He argued that he had already spent enough time here (not even that long, and he completed another small project before that) and if I had sent him complete pictures of the chimney he would've brought enough supplies. Had I known that's what he was going off of to buy supplies then I absolutely would have but as a contractor why would you just go off text pictures? It was also obvious he had went to the store after initially looking at what needed to be done. But even then, if you are upset with the pictures then you shouldn't be giving estimates over texts.

He got extremely argumentative and even hung up on me at one point. Bottom line I kept telling him he's not getting paid until the job is complete. He kept trying to say that at this point he's not even going to make a profit because of the labor - I said okay but the job is incomplete and based on that I cannot complete your payment. Also, the worker was on his phone watching videos and on tik tok for the time you were here. He himself was also constantly on the phone.

Maybe if you and your worker had kept yourselves off the phone and watching tik tok you would have been able to wrap this up quicker.

There was a lot more wrong with the entirety of working with him but I believe the above sums up enough of what is wrong - unprofessional and poor communication. These statements are also echoed in the other reviews.

Will never use him again and I absolutely do not recommend him. Very disappointing.

Miguel and Bradford are the best!!! After 5 days with no electricity and water, they arrived at 5 pm on a Saturday night and worked through the night until 4:30 am helping me replace a water heater, fix 5 busted pipes and locate the source of the low water pressure. They were so professional, conscientious, and hard working. I really appreciate his fair pricing and thoughtfulness to not leave me until my water was working. With the historical freeze in Dallas last week, it is extremely difficult to find a plumber, much less one that is reliable and trustworthy. All the problems and corrections were patiently explained to me and corrected. He even recommended an excellent water extraction company for my carpets that were soaked from the waterfall of busted pipes.

In addition to the above, Miguel several days earlier drove 45 minutes back to to my house at 11 pm to show me how to turn off the main water valve to the house when the house water purifying system sprung 5 high pressure leaks in the PVC pipes and exploded the filter container. It is difficult to find this kind of amazing customer service. He is truly a kind and considerate man.

I contacted Miguel because a fellow real estate agent in my office highly recommended All Metroplex Handyman to help my seller do a few upgrades before listing their home for sale. First, I was completely astounded by the speed of communication that I received upon my first contact. Miguel was able to meet with me within a day to give me an estimate for my client on a fairly large painting and repair project. The price was extremely reasonable and Miguel & his crew were able to start right away.

Great care was taken by the crew to cover flooring, light fixtures, and other important posts of the home to protect surfaces from paint and dust.

I have worked with several contractors for various home improvement projects in the past and have been burned before due to the lack of integrity, reliability, and most of all overpricing of the cost of labor and materials. Hence, I have been very cautious in choosing the right contractor for my next home improvement project which is our master’s bedroom shower and toilet. My family and I prayed for the right contractor to come along. I did canvass and asked around. Indeed our prayers were answered. Miguel Cristancho, his son Bradford, and his team came highly recommended by a good friend who also had her flooring done by their company. From the time I contacted Miguel, he has not disappointed me. When he said he would call back, he called back. When he said he would stop by to see what the problem was and what he would recommend done, he did. He earned my respect from day one. I knew right then and then he was the right choice for the job. And that’s even barely scratching the surface, he was willing to work around my budget so that I could still achieve the look and function I was going for without costing me an arm and a leg. He listens. As a customer, it’s important that I feel heard and that my input matters. He also made me feel I can lay down my cards on the table as to what my expectations are without fear of being misconstrued as a difficult client. His response is honest and straight to the point - he will tell you if your idea is feasible or not. And still, give the final decision to you. Hiring him was the best decision I made. We've been homeowners for a little over a month now but have already had our fair share of experience working with trustworthy and genuine contractors and unfortunately, those who are unreliable and will say anything to make a quick buck. Miguel and his team are definitely part of that first category of contractors! He took our dilapidated deck from zero to hero. The deck on this house is probably 10-15 years old, had several broken, cracked, or lifting boards in various places and desperately needed some attention before we could put any furniture out there.

Rather than demolish the entire thing and start from scratch (too expensive right now), we sought quotes for repair. Miguel offered the fairest price (he essentially quoted the same as his competitors, but ended up providing more intensive solutions than what his competitors were offering).

He replaced the boards, ended up needing to replace almost the entire railing (he did have to re-quote us for additional parts halfway through, but he did not charge for extra labor, just the cost of extra materials), added a much-needed trim to prevent further damage over time from the existing boards, power-washed, and painted.

I asked for extra reinforcement in various places and extra attention to detail in areas where I felt older boards still had rough/sharp edges and he took care of these minor details without charging an extra penny.

A demolition project and starting over with this deck could have cost nearly $10K. We only desired to extend the life of this deck for at least 4-5 years (which I am confident we did), and spent approx. $2300. I'd say it was well worth it.

Not to mention, it's such a relief finding some like Miguel who is so personable and easy to work that I now know who I need to reach out to for other household repairs/renovations in the future. I appreciate his transparency, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile to make us happy. See before and after photos to see for yourself.

Miguel is family for life! He will be my go to person for everything with my house. His experience, knowledge, and professionalism is top notch! He really helped me stay within my budget for my small bathroom renovation. We just love it so much! He was extremely understanding and patient to my needs/wants since it was my first time doing a project like this.He walked me through the whole process and was always upfront about the costs. He also was the best price out of all the other quotes I received from other companies. He treats my family and me like we are his family and his honesty is so admirable. He was always there for whatever questions I had- whether it was a text or phone call away. (And man did I text him, lol) He did other services around the house that helped me out as well- installing new ceiling fans, updating light fixtures, saving my water heater that wasn’t on a very sturdy base to be on) He is a jack of all trades!

Do not use these people! They sign you up for a subscription service without telling you and don't even come out to do the service. We told them we had a newborn and they still charged us and didnt provide a service. THESE PEOPLE ARE A SCAM! We got advion cockroach bait gel from Amazon and it got rid of them in 1 week! It only costs 20!!

My intent was to comment that my technician, Maurice did a very professional and thorough job. Cameras confirmed. When I spoke to him personally, he was kind and polite. Even offering sympathy for my long time fur baby that I lost. I have been with Berrett for as long as I can remember. Good service.

This was our first experience with this company and Michael was our tech. He was personable and listened to my concerns. He respected my wish to keep an orb weaver spider and her eggs and to keep that area safe for her. I will update as we go but so far I’m pleased! Their terms were much better than any other company I called!
