Juan and his crew have handled our HVAC needs for about a decade now. They have always provided us excellent service and are quite expedient, when needed. We just had them out again and they fixed the problem within 24 hrs of our call. They are awesome!

Last year after the February freeze our system went out. We called Air Commander 1 and Juan and his team were prompt to help and repair our unit. A couple of weeks after our unit was replaced our backup unit in the attic went out too. Turns out it had been working too hard to keep up. We called Juan again and once again they promptly replaced our unit. We even had all our ducts cleaned and he gave us a discount. Great customer service, prompt response, and friendliness. We will continue to use their services when needed. We decided to wait a year before leaving a review to see how it all turned out and to leave an honest review. This is Miguel from Mesquite. Juan Sanchez is not just a guy that does great work, but his integrity speaks for itself. For over 15 years, I've put my trust in the number one heating and air conditioning guy in the business.

I wish I could give a zero or negative number rating to this contractor. Juan gave me a good price on the unit and the installation. However, the quality of the installation was very poor. He didn’t do any work and all the work was done by his assistants/apprentices. There was so much water coming from the AC unit that it started to overflow from the drain pan and drench my ceiling (the air flow unit and the furnace are in the attic). I called him and let him know of the problem and he said he would take care of it in a few days as his wife was sick. After that he stopped answering my calls...no customer support whatsoever. It cost me $1300 to have another contractor come and fix the mess of a job they did. I had to pay an additional $1600 to get the sheet rock replaced and have the ceiling painted. So at the end, I actually spent lot more than what I would have if I had gone with a reputable AC shop. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE GOOD PRICE. You won’t get anything close to what you pay for. Zero customer service after the job (a very bad one) is done. Hope this review helps at least some people.

Air Commander 1 4-4-2020

We just had our air ducts replaced and new blown-in insulation in our attic. We added an air scrubber to our ductwork. Our house was built in 1951 and just running our HVAC for a couple of hours I could tell a big difference in the air quality of our home and how stable our room temperature is. The installers are very nice, professional, and clean up after they are job is completed.
I would highly recommend them. Thank you, Juan, and your crew for the fantastic job.

Juan did an excellent job replacing an entire air conditioning system from a home built in 1975! His team removed the original unit and replaced it with a brand new HVAC system, and it is working beautifully! He then came back later and helped us with one other minor issue. He and his team were efficient and professional. I would definitely recommend this business.

Juan and his crew really came through for me and my family at a critical time. We had been quoted astronomical prices by 3 large HVAC companies before someone referred him to me. He gave us a very honest assessment of the necessary work and installed a brand new AC unit for less than half the price the large companies quoted. I have been with Juan and Air Commander since 2018. I have a particularly unique and tough house when it comes to HVAC, meaning there is no attic, no crawlspaces, etc. It makes trying to properly calibrate the unit very difficult so that it is properly cooling the whole house as the options are so limited as to where we can install new duct, vents, and returns. Juan has never given up and has continued to tweak things and try things to maximize the output of my unit. HVAC is never just plug-and-play, each house is its own puzzle, and my house is like trying to do a rubik's cube blindfolded. With regards to availability and promptness I have always been happy. With regards to pricing I would say they are fair in their pricing, they aren't the cheapest but they aren't the most expensive either. But keep in mind that HVAC is expensive, period, no matter who you use. Juan is a gentleman and a professional, even when there have been times when I myself wasn't over the years. Like I said, my house is a tough house with regards to central air. Eventually I will be moving to a split-system (i.e ductless system) for this house and when that time comes I will be contacting Juan at Air Commander.

Juan replaced my air conditioning compressor (outdoor unit). Gave me a very, very good price and installed it the same day! The unit he gave me was an excellent brand with full 10 yr warranty. Ice cold air now!

Air Commander 1 did an excellent job installing our AC unit inside and out plus our water heater. Very professional and prompt and Juan and Luis were the best they explained how you're supposed to maintenance your water heater something we never knew. Air Commander One is the best air conditioning company in Dallas. I have three
A/C units in my house and Juan, the owner, and his crew have replaced two of them in the last two years. Both times I called him, he was at my house within 24 hours, diagnosed the problem, gave my a full report on his findings and quoted me a price to fix the issues. Once I agreed to the price, his crew was back within 24 hours to resolve the issues. Juan always supervises him team of professionals, comes back the next day to check on the finished product to insure the A/C is working perfectly. I was a little suspicious of the company at first. But I was very wrong. Juan gave me his word and he and his crew following through on everything in replacing my ducts. There was a minor glitch at first but he personally came back and fixed everything. I am very impressed!
