Jon De La Rosa was polite, timely, knowledgeable, and matter of factly with our situation, and couldn't be more professional. I also really appreciated those late Sunday hours. I thought we were in a pinch because of the weekend. Job well done!

My servicer Jon got to my house right on time and got my system set back up and running quickly and running how it should have been! After he was able to give me a great walkthrough of my system and answer all my questions and concerns.

Preston was professional & courteous. Fixed two things that were under warranty.

Just one call to this company and I could schedule an inspection of my HVAC unit for the very next day. Mr. John, the technician, arrived on time, was very efficient and knowledgeable & completed the inspection and gave me a report in a fair amount of time.
I was trying to schedule with this other company and they were going back & forth on the availability of their technician. I wonder how their services would have been. I am so glad I found Garland Heating & Air Conditioning. Superb services for a reasonable price. No hidden fees. -
Absolutely top-notch service from start to finish! The technician was on time, professional, and clearly knew their stuff. They explained everything in plain English, didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need, and got my system running better than ever. You don’t realize how much you appreciate cold air until it’s back on full blast! Highly recommend—this crew is the real deal.

Great service from Josh Campbell and pleased with our new HVAC unit. Very upfront on pricing and worked with us to pick the best unit for our home.

Service was professional, friendly, to the point and without unnecessary marketing/upselling. The tech came in, listened to the symptoms as I described them, got to work and fixed the problem...
Last summer we called one of the commercial HVAC companies to fix our A/C (who we see all the time on commercials) but, we called because they installed our Lennox system. They came out, couldn't find the problem and suggested that another tech might have to come out and do another level of troubleshooting for yet another charge on top of their initial outrageous service charge. Then they indicated that it might take another tech to do the repair. We were talking about 1500 to $2,000 worth of charges and three different technicians for them to potentially fix this problem. Potentially being a key word here. Here's the kicker - I suspected it was the run capacitor the whole time but they never took the time to verify if it was functioning properly - and I informed them of this upon arrival. It was too hot of a summer to be dealing with all that kind of nonsense so, I dismissed them, replaced the capacitor myself for about 45 bucks and it was fixed.
Today's repair which I called Garland Heating & A/C about was more complex than a capacitor replacement; and, I'm glad I called them instead of the other more high profile company. The tech didn't waste my time trying to upsell me or explain about different tiers of troubleshooting. He did all the work himself, including the repair, in timely fashion and all within the same morning. I would recommend this company over any of their major commercial competitors any day. -
Jimmy did an awesome job and figured out the issue right away! He advised his manager advised to only charge the service fee. Highly recommend!!

They came out on time and explained everything very clearly. I liked the way Jon explained my situation he was very professional and understanding.

Highly recommend! The crew came by and had my system replaced with a 2hr turnaround and the work was professional. Ted drove to my house to meet me and shake my hand, check on his crew to see they were good and verify the install. The work and parts are guaranteed. I was extremely comforted from the very initial service appointment all the way to the end. This is a company that knows how to do business the right way. You will not be disappointed and you'll get your money's worth.

Had a new HVAC system installed as well as repairs and maintenance over the years. They do good work and offered me the best price on a new system compared to other highly rated companies in the area.

I've used these guys for at least a decade. They are honest and fair priced. They can usually fix most problems in the same day.
If not an emergency, it's best to schedule a morning appt so if something goes wrong they have a full day to fix it. -
I got charge for a $30 dollars parts and 5 min of installation $624.00 dollars

I have used Garland heat and air for over 20 years. Always great service and friendly repair people.
GHA just installed a new 3 ton Carrier unit for my upstairs. The old unit went out on Thursday and they were able to install a new unit on Saturday morning. They were fast, clean, and friendly.
My old system was 18 years old which they installed in 2007. Never had an issue with them.. -
The guy's arrived as promised and did a thorough job inspecting both the inside and outside units. They explained what they did and showed pictures to make it clearer. Overall, I would say this was a very good experience.
-
Excellent service and a very honest technician. He explained everything in detail and even showed us pictures so we could fully understand the issue. That level of transparency is hard to find. Highly recommend for heating and air maintenance.

Overall just bad. No resolution and no apology for anything. Had to replace my entire system with another brand new system.
1. 2021 - purchased new HVAC from Garland heating and air. around 15K.
2. 2022 - electrical issue where a part was needed
3.2023 - low on refrigerant and to pay for that. Issue happened on a Sunday, they don't have 24/7 support just a phone center that notifies "someone" that I need help.
4. 2024 - evaporator coil ($4,000) needed to be replaced. I was blamed for this by 1 of the 2 women that answer the phones. I had to argue each time just to credit the service charge after paying.
5. 2025 - compressor went out and was quoted $2,500 to repair and replace. even though a tune up was done a month prior. I was advised that they just go out that's the way it is. This happened on a Sunday I called the answering service twice. No call back. I got an email at midnight, when I was sleeping that an appointment was scheduled the next day.
Had another company come out and the first thing he asked, "did I have this professional installed?" I said yes and asked why. His response was demoralizing. He said because it would have failed inspection right away having had the outside unit sitting on bricks just laying around instead of a pad. Which you can see in the pictures.
It got worse in the attic. The unit was just sitting on the ground and also sitting on bricks. There were gaps in the connections because the unit was not properly fit according to the size. The just used my old system and just attached it with putty and duct tape. The filter housing was the incorrect size so we just had wasted air leaving the system. Also in the pictures. I'll be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau so hopefully a future customer will think twice. I explained my frustration over the phone and the only thing I got was that they'll talk to the manager about it.
The last 4 photos are what the install should have looked like with a follow up done on the work to make sure everything is correct before the inspection is done. -
Jon was very knowledgeable and courteous. He listened to my concerns and answered my questions. Very professional and efficient. He quickly found the issue and got my system working. He also gave me a quote for system replacement which I requested.
