Joe has serviced our HVAC equipment for years now. His team recently replaced our HVAC system and ducts and did a great job! He’s a great communicator, responsive, timely, reliable and trustworthy. I recommend Joe to anyone needing HVAC servicing.

I called Joe about 1pm today. One of my AC units was not cooling. I expected to have to wait several days, but he arrived at my house at 4pm. Same day service!! He was very knowledgeable, addressed the problem, made sure everything worked, and was very reasonably priced!! He was here for about 90 min., didn’t try to upcharge or find “other issues” like the big companies do. It was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be using Joe again in the future!! Called Thursday evening when one of my units went out and Joe was able to come first thing Friday morning! He was very punctual and wore a mask and shoe booties in the house - very thoughtful during this pandemic. He diagnosed our problem quickly and came to talk to us about our options before going further. He explained everything he would be doing and repaired it all in a timely manner. Much appreciated since it was 95 degrees outside with no A/C and 2 toddlers. Very happy with his work!

Air Central HVAC is a professional, responsible and honest HVAC company. They were referred by our realtor estate agency when we moved to Plano/Allen area. Joe is the main person who is upfront with the issues, options to resolve those issues and quote clearly what is included. Everything is in writing. We choose to replace our A/C and furnace system after 20 years of service and they did a great job by showing up on time with three men crew, finished on time and left the site clean. I highly recommend Air Central.

Joe at Air Central was excellent and honest. He was able to install several components on my hvac system for thousands less than a couple of the bigger companies I got quotes from without trying to upsell me on things I didn’t need. He even installed a c wire for my nest thermostat free of charge since my previous system didn’t have one. I had been quoted over a thousand for that previously. If you need any hvac work done on your home definitely call Joe.

Joe and his team were great to work with . The old A/C system went out at my house last summer in mid-July during a blistering heat wave. I got several bids for a complete HVAC replacement. Joe and his team had the best offer and they got it ordered and installed within 3 days . I highly recommend Air Central HVAC.

Used Air Central HVAC to install an additional AC/Furnace in our house. Joe and his crew did a fantastic job. Very professional. Walked me through the entire project before he started and answered all my questions. Arrived early, was very mindful of our furniture and floors, finished the job on time and cleaned up very thoroughly when done. I’ve already recommended Joe and his team to friends that have had nothing but great things to say. Will only use Air Central for any HVAC issues in the future.

New Review on 7/7/22: Joe's team installed a completely new HVAC for A/C and heat in about half a day with a great price, no hassle, and cleaned up afterwards with no mess. He also explained the steps needed to register the system for warranty with easily accessible documentation. I'll be following his guidance and returning to his business as the needs arises.

Joe responded to my appointment request very timely and arrived just a few minutes prior to our appointment window. We live in the Wylie area and our house was built in 2001. He quickly diagnosed the reason my Amana gas furnace wouldn't start; a failed motor and capacitor. After agreeing to the quoted repair price, he went straight to work and was done before we knew it. His work truck included all the equipment needed which was nice. Joe was very polite and did not push anything extra even though we have another furnace and a/c system in the house. He even wore booties! The pricing was very fair as well. There is a winter storm system coming this weekend, so I am much relieved to have the furnace fixed.

Joe was professional and responded quickly. He explained everything in detail and made sure we were comfortable with our decision to replace one of our condensers and a/c coils. He and his crew did a great job - highly recommend.

I was very pleased with how helpful Joe was when he came out. Definitely went above and beyond and showed me how to change my filter instead of making me feel bad for not knowing how to replace it. I also appreciated not being pushed to replace my unit and his focus was really to fix the existing issue and he was quite thorough! At no time did I feel like I was being upsold or pressured to do something unnecessary. As a new homeowner, I highly recommend these services :)

Update 8/28/24 - I ended up calling Joe back when I was ready to go ahead and replace my unit. The process could not have gone smoother. I was able to get a quote and get the unit replaced within a week. I have zero regrets and I could not be happier!

Joe was amazing. He came out of his service area because I left a message needing immediate help. Initially, it was just for a service call. He could have sent me elsewhere but he didn’t. When he made it, he immediately diagnosed the issue (blower motor) without looking to add additional issues. Me being a woman and not knowing much about HVAC work, I really appreciated that. The part was not easy to find and Joe searched for it and was able to order it from and out of state carrier. Once it came in he was here the next morning to replace the failed motor. And for a fair price. I was skeptical, mainly because I always have issues being that I’m not knowledgeable about these types of issues but with Joe I felt comfortable. I highly recommend him for your HVAC issues.

I highly recommend Air Central HVAC. On a 50 degree night we somehow managed to break our thermostat. I called Air Central the next morning; spoke to Joe and explained our mishap and that we had to leave by 2:00 pm to attend a funeral. Joe said he would work us in and arrived before 11:00 am. The thermostat for our older unit was no longer available. Joe contacted the manufacturer to determine what would be compatible with our unit. He returned the next day, installed the new thermostat and explained how to operate it. And...he cleaned up the work area perfectly. Thank you, Joe. These 2 senior citizens appreciate you.

Joe answered an emergency call yesterday and worked me in between two other jobs. Fortunately, it was an easy fix so we both won. He's in my address book now and I will be calling to purchase a new system next year when it is cooler.

Update 1/2/24 - Joe installed a new HVAC system today. Could not be happier with the price, work and professionalism throughout the process. Very knowledgeable and thorough.

Our heater had issues, and with this cold, it was nice to get it working smoothly again. We will definitely be contacting them again with any future issues.

I had an R-22 system that lost all the refrigerant. It had to be replaced since the refrigerant is no longer produced in the US. Two days later Joe and another gentleman came to the house and installed a new AC and only took about five hours. Awesome.

I found Joe after looking at reviews for various local HVAC businesses. I wanted to get a few quotes on a new AC unit. He had several 5 star reviews and you could tell the customer experiences were authentic. Our upstairs air conditioner was 21 years old and although still working was not working well in the TX summer heat coupled with humidity. Joe came out and did a thorough inspection of our unit, listened to our concerns, and answered all of our questions. He did not rush during the appointment and answered questions that came up after our appointment as well. He recommended installing additional vents to help with the air circulation in a couple of our rooms and sent me a quote with various options with different price points so our family could choose what worked best for us. There was never any pressure to close a sale. We ended up choosing the Bryant Evolution Variable Speed unit which is leaps and bounds above our old unit. Joe and his team started first thing in the morning and finished up mid afternoon which is what he had predicted prior to the appointment. They cleaned up the work area, made sure I understood how to work my new WIFI thermostat, answered questions, and were just great. They even fixed some things on our downstairs unit that had been cheaply fixed by other companies prior to us finding Joe. I'm submitting to our power company for a rebate based on the new unit and Joe filled out everything I needed and scheduled the inspector to review the new AC unit the next day. You can tell that Joe takes a lot of pride in what he does and wants to make sure his customers are very satisfied. Would recommend Joe to anyone needing HVAC services in the area and will recommend him to my friends and family. We had a great experience! Thanks Joe!

I'm a big fan of Air Central HVAC. My brother and his wife have used them for repairs and maintenance at their house for several years, and Joe has provided service at my condo as well. We recently had Joe and his team install a new HVAC system at our parents' house. Joe is reliable, communicates well and provides good service at a fair price. In my experience, he tells you what you need and doesn't try to sell you things that are unnecessary.
