Was nearly ran off the road by van number 12 a few days ago. I called to report it immediately and basically received an "Oh no that's terrible. Have a great day!" No follow up. Nothing.

As an apartment manager, I have used Winstead Company for all the plumbing issues at my properties. The prices are always reasonable, and the customer sevice is great from Chelsea to Jeff. Gerardo is one of their plumbers is he is very experienced.

I needed a water line for a ice maker installed. Winstead plumbing sent Abbott & Costello. Long story short 5 hours and $700 it was installed. I wouldn't let these guys connect the hose to my lawn sprinkler. Will never use again.

I own some properties and I used to call to this company. I learned my lesson. Their plumbers will bill you for double or triple of the real time invested in the repair. Also, a lady named Julie is so rude, silly and entitled, she probably is not the owner otherwise she is killing her own business. Unprofessional at maximum.

These guys are great! I called them and they took care of my Mom... Took the time to explain everything to her... Cleaned up after they were done... The only thing that bothered me was my mom shared the cookies with them that my wife made for her.. Mom saying "they are such good boys" smh

I wanted to be able to say good things about this company. We'd used their services at a class C community many times and had no trouble. But the first time we had a big issue and needed a resolution one of the owners Julie was downright mean. She was dishonest and when confronted with her multiple non-truths she was loud and abrasive and insulting. DO NOT CALL WINSTEAD PLUMBING! There are WAY TOO MANY other plumbers who will respect you and your money. Julie can't seem to do that.

Great Team! They explained the process and were not shy about explaining the process or answering questions we had. Quick and efficient. They were also kind. Julie is a gem and I appreciate her professionalism and kindness.

Our HOA hired them to repair a plumbing issue. My wife was told it’s their ‘normal’ process to put the toilet in the tub. While standing with plumbers at newly installed tub no damage was noticed or mentioned by wife or plumbers.
Later, I showed up and saw damage. Winstead refused to complete job or fairly compensate for the damage. They want to credit the bill to HOA for half the cost of the tub. I’ll never see a penny.

I work in property management and Winstead has become my go to vendor for 180 properties across the metroplex. Of all the work I have sent to them I have had one issue and it was resolved promptly and in such a way that it was not even an issue.

I have used them in my personal home where they were required to break up the foundation in the middle of my kitchen to repair a drain line. There was not a speck of dust left in my home and the workers were considerate of my wife and child in the home during the work.

My only complaint is that I wasted countless hours testing the waters with other plumbers before I called Winstead.

I have gladly used Winstead Plumbing for numerous repair jobs and will continue to do so as needed. They have never disappointed me and are always very polite and prompt with my repairs. It is a pleasure doing business with them and they have my trust and approval.

We have been using Winstead Plumbing for our apartment complex for many years. They are always prompt, very accommodating in emergency situations, always an excellent job at very reasonable prices. Big job, small job, they will be there as soon as possible and your problems will be gone within hours of their appearance! Jeff, the owner, is great at explaining the problems and figuring out the best solutions. He answers all my questions (even the numerous "dumb" ones!) and definitely goes the extra mile to give us happy solutions. Geraldo is a God-send! I once called him late on a Saturday night when he wasn't even on call. He not only answered my call, he took several hours out of his own time to help me resolve my problem. All the guys (Victor, Arturo, Raul, etc...) are amazing. Wonderful company, wonderful plumbers!

Good work fixing a plumbing issue, but the extra charges threw me for a loop. Be aware they will charge a service call fee and the work done if you have them fix an issue, they don't waive. Ask if they'll charge for a helper too, because they won't tell you beforehand. Essentially, get you a company that won't charge out the a$$.

After three failed attempts with other plumbing companies, Winstead was able to quickly and effectively replace our main shutoff valve, as well as two others. Even before the service was scheduled, I was communicating with Julie about different options, and she clarified everything for me. The two guys who came were kind and very careful in their work. The total cost was MUCH less than what other places quoted.

Juan and Carlos came out to fix my blocked sewer line at midnight after discovering an issue after I got home from work and spent several hours trying to fix the issue myself and were amazing. They were so nice and professional. Would recommend them to anyone.

Called this company based on a recommendation. First call to diagnose water heater that wasn't heating. Service guy was amazing. He had an assistant with him that did not do anything. They had to order the part. Service guy and assistant were in and out in a half hour. Charge was $120. <gulp>. At that appointment the amazing service guy suggested that if the part was $200 or more that we might want to consider replacing the 15 year old water heater but that the company would call with the amount of the part if it was that high. Ten days later I still had not heard from anyone from Winstead so I called them. They said, yes, the part was in and I scheduled the appointment. They could not tell me how much the part cost but assured me it was not over $200. 2nd appointment, plumber and assistant came out. Assistant did very little. Part was installed within 30 minutes and the two guys were on their way. The next day I received another bill for $340. The part cost $203. So I ended up paying almost $260 for less than one hour of work on a 15 year old water heater. And I was never given the option to do anything else.

I can not recommend them and I will not use them again. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because the work was done in a timely fashion and the first service guy was super nice. But I guess for $260/hr, I better hope they work fast.

I used this company once in 2015 but recently someone named Macy keeps calling and leaving messages about an unpaid invoice from 11/2022. I haven't used their service since 2015 and moved out of state so I thought they must've mixed up my old info with someone else's and I called to let them know they were either being scammed or something was wrong with their system.

The woman from their company was very rude and was convinced I was in the wrong by not paying their invoice. She was unwilling to listen and basically decided I was lying from just a phone number that was given to them. At the end I just told her to remove my information from their system and to never call me again.

So beware when you give them your information, they might accuse you of not paying for an invoice from a job that you never asked them to do.

I cannot say good enough things about Winstead Plumbing. They are honest and they really care. We had a real problem that was difficult to figure out. The owner, Jeff, spent complete days trying to help figure it out until it was fixed. He even came on the weekend. He really cares. If you want a great experience with a capable, honest company, then Winstead is for you!

We have used Winstead Plumbing on two different occasions now for two very different reasons. Both times we have been extremely pleased with their services. The plumbers are highly respectful and always wore masks when necessary, showed up on time and were polite and friendly. They always explained what needed to be done and were very efficient and did their jobs in a very timely manner. Both times the job was completed perfectly and we have never had any other issue afterwards. We highly recommend these guys and have found them to be trustworthy and able to perform quality work. Plus their prices are very reasonable and they do not add hidden fees or extras.

I truly cannot say enough about this company. We lived in Garland in a home built in 1974 with original plumbing. We had to reach out to Winstead Plumbing 3 times in the course of 2.5 yrs. I assure you my husband loves to save and of course loves good quality. Each time we needed a repair we needed up using Winstead. They offered the best price, quality was good and we didn't have any issues with the plumbers they sent to our home. They have replaced a bathtub, reran a pipe and saved us all together from a made up needed repair that another company suggested. By our estimate we saved around 10, 000 using Winstead.Also, Julie is great and very helpful! Thanks Winstead!
