I’ve worked with Southern Botanical on several HOA properties over the last couple of years, and they’ve consistently gone above and beyond—especially with some mutual clients who were, to put it politely, challenging to work with.

If you’re looking for a cheap mow-and-go service, they aren’t it. But if you want a true partner in achieving your landscaping goals—one who will listen to your long-term vision, address your short-term frustrations, respond to your calls, and bring in-house expertise (including irrigation specialists and arborists)—Southern Botanical is the way to go.

They’ve always provided fair, timely quotes for any and all landscaping services, and they remain one of my go-to recommendations for anyone who values quality, communication, and a team that truly cares about the end result.

We've really enjoyed working with Southern Botanical. They’re easy to work with and communicate clearly every step of the way. Our account manager, Colby, has been fantastic—quick to help, responsive, and always easy to work with. They go above and beyond, even helping us prepare the grounds for our annual fireworks show, which is no small task.

With Texas weather, not everything goes as planned, but the team is quick to respond and fix any issues that come up. I also really appreciate how they take the time to explain things and educate me on landscaping items I may not be familiar with. Great service, great people—very dependable and professional.

Stone Lakes HOA has partnered with Southern Botanical the past two years and put together a landscaping plan for the next three years. Judging by the Stone Lakes residents comments, they've done an outstanding job on improving the appearance with new plants, incorporating boulders, rocks and drought tolerant plants. Stone Lakes is known for it's Lake and walkability so the landscaping needs to look good and standout. With Shelley and John's input and weekly visits we know we are in good hands. 2026 plans are coming together and were exciting for spring planting. I would recommend to talk with John and Shelley at Southern Botanical.

Southern Botanicals is a pleasure to work with. They are responsive, professional, with expert knowledge to maintain and enhance our community. After years of issues with our irrigation system and working with precious companies, Southern Botanicals has identified, updated, and improved our system so that our grounds are reflecting the care. They have assisted in providing new landscaping, replacing worn out landscaping and overall making our community shine. John Haley and Shelley Roberts are attentive to our needs and requests and a true joy to work with. Seems like they do great work, but when I called for the initial estimate and asked if someone could come out in the next 4-5 days, receptionist simply laughed at me and said there's no way!

Maybe she was having a bad day, but no one appreciates being laughed at. Customer service 101...

Blooms did a great job landscaping our back yard with mulch, walking stones and groundcover plants. They also did a great job trimming our oak tree.

Called for an estimate to get my yard in shape for winter and was greeted by a very polite and professional receptionist. The estimate was very reasonable and will use them in the next couple of weeks. I highly recommend this company for your landscape needs.

After trying to for several weeks to try and get an estimate on a complete landscape installation for our front yard, we finally got a price we liked and moved forward with Blooms. Not more than two months after installation of the plants, several of them, and mostly the expensive ones, died. I was promised a year warranty on all plants since Blooms reconfigured the watering system to accommodate for the plants need and locations.

Upon telling Blooms about the dead plants, I was told it needed to cool off before planting new plants and they would approach me soon with a list of replacements since the originals did not take well. 4 months later I have yet to receive and list and I still have dead plants sitting in my yard. I have sent several emails to the owner, as well as several of the employees, and not one person will take the time to respond to me in two weeks.

Completely unprofessional and will not stand behind their guarantee. At this point, would rather a refund on the plants that died and I'll plant new ones myself.

Dale was very easy to work with and had some great ideas for our space. He worked within our budget and provided a great value. We could have never have done a job like this ourselves, and will always call him when we have another project.

We were completely pleased with the work done by Bloom's Landcare -- specifically, Dustin and Josh. They were on time, hard-working, professional, and courteous. Who could ask for more? Thank you, Dustin and Josh! The dozens of new flowering plants are doing beautifully.

Blooms was the best decision for landscaping. We needed total re-do of our front yard. We had bad erosion and a large magnolia tree in our front yard with tons of roots we didn’t know what to do with. We also didn’t have sprinklers. We contracted them to landscape the front, build a sidewalk for us, and install an irrigation system. Our house is on a hill with lots of mature trees that are important to me and I previously hesitated on doing landscaping bc I was worried it would damage the tree roots. On our initially meeting with Dale he recognized our trees were awesome and designed a plan around them and to protect them. He designed a natural stone walkway that looked good with our house’s stone but also minimized the amount of digging they’d have to do around the roots. He also designed a ground cover plan and landscaping that would do well in shade.

Then came the WEEK they did the work. Our yard was a mess and this crew shows up EVERY DAY at 7:30 and worked till 6 with a minimal lunch break. They worked their butts off every day- digging everything by hand, no large machinery, to make sure they didn’t damage my trees. Cleared off all of the trash and the large broken pots that were left in our yard by the previous owner. Installed a killer irrigation system, installed an amazing natural stone walkway, built a retaining wall to contain our magnolia on our hill, and made our yard look beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend Blooms for their design, execution, and professionalism.

Dale and Guy gave me a bid for a major drainage problem that had resulted in our home flooding. The estimate I received was detailed and precise in every way. The crew that did the work on this project was prompt every morning with smiles on their faces. I could not be more pleased with the finished product. This company and all of it's employees are the most professional group that I have worked with in years.

Several years ago Booms Landcare put in Landscape Lighting in our Patio area. One of the lights prematurely failed a couple of weeks ago. I was delighted to hear the light would be replaced under warranty. Several days later the light was replaced by Dale the owner of Blooms. How about that for great customer service. Thanks

We had a great experience with Dale and the team! They were matched to us via Yardzen to add in landscaping and a backyard built in grill. Felt like they were innovative in the design and flawless execution of the finish project.

Guy in particular was above and beyond to ensure our yard never looked better! High recommend and can't wait to use them again.
