I was very pleased and satisfied with the work our technician did at our home today. Milton was very patient and thoroughly examined everything on the inside and out. He took the time to explain in great detail the functionality of each component and how ours was functioning. He also gave us very helpful tips on how to keep the AC running properly and how to keep it clean. I highly recommend this service for anyone having ac issues. American A/C came in and did an excellent job on the Ductwork. They didn’t wait around for a More convenient day for them, but came in on the Fourth of July to remove all of our moldy duct.
Though we chose to stay in a hotel just to give them the time to be able to do the stuff they needed to do. They were quick and efficient, and we were back in our home the next day. The price was excellent and 1/2 of what the other 2 estimates were.

I called on Dec 23,2022 was told someone would call me back. I waited until Jan 23,2023 to call them back and ask what had happened to my call back, a work order was never made. Technicians was very professional and helpful, main reason I use this company. Service call on April, 2024 schedule and service was excellent.

A/c stopped working, still under warranty,
Tech came by was told motherboard, this was Monday , called them Wednesday ask when it would be fix, said sending sub contractor too make sure it was what was wrong (don't trust their own people).Sub contractor on Island time , was supposed to fix another unit on Friday, it following Monday still not here. I paid more at American a/c for their repair department not to be send to sub contractor and be told basically only choice or wait in heat until they get to you.

Our AC went out over the weekend we called on Saturday and were told it would be passed along but never heard back. I used the schedule an appointment tab on the website to schedule an appointment for 9am on Monday and nothing we didn't even hear from them until after 10am. The technician finally made it out about 5:30pm Monday and discovered we had a leaky coil and they were going to have to see if they part was in stock and would let us know on Tuesday. My husband called around 12:30 on Tuesday and was told they would check and call back but didn't call back until around 5:00 to tell us the part has been ordered and should be in Wednesday or Thursday only after I sent them messages to at least call and let us know what was going on. It has a completely frustrating experience all around.

John was a excellent repair man. Explain everything about what he was going to do and soon had the central running. He also clean the area he was working.

Balde was very professional and explained what was occurring as to why our fridge was not producing ice and getting frozen. He was quick and straight to the point!

Our microwave went out. Needed part ordered. We had to call to set up a follow up apt. to get them to get it fixed. We use our microwave 10 times a day so you can see how much we need it and miss it. They came and determined the problem on Nov. 14 was when they came to determine the service it requires. That's 19 days ago. We called today to follow up on where the part is. All of a sudden they have the part and can fit us in tomorrow to put it in. Very bad service when customer has to make a call to get a solution. Not happy!!
