Love this builders

Frontier has been great to work with. They care a lot about their customers and everything they do. I highly recommend them if you are considering building a custom home!

This company lacks honesty, integrity, professionalism, and skill. Soon after we signed a contract to build, they lost interest in doing anything except avoiding accountability for their actions. Take a look at their recent handiwork to get an idea of what you can expect from them.

Danny our architect was very detailed oriented and responsive. He listened well and incorporated all the details we wanted in our dream home. The building process so far has been seamless.

I've known Frontier and its owner for many years, and they do excellent work. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a custom home builder!

Great builder loving the home.

We are currently building a home with Frontier Custom Builders in Kings Lake Estates. Their architect has diligently and creatively designed a home that meets the needs of a family of 6 (+2 pets), integrates into a tricky waterfront lot, and aligns with our design expectations. Danny also led us through a complicated and long permitting process with FEMA and Harris County. We couldn’t ask for a more talented architect who is also very client-focused and responsive – working through our changes and questions, guiding us towards solutions, and helping us avoid mistakes. We are looking forward to the build phase with Hunt, Crystal, and Brandee – who have all been outstanding to work with.

Let me just start by saying that frontier homes has been a blessing! They have been amazing to deal with in making our custom home! The whole experience from beginning to end was so seamless and stress free. If you ever need to build a custom home around Houston than they are the company!

I contacted their design center for an item I wanted to purchase. Sandra went out of her way to give me detailed information on the best shipping prices. She then packaged it herself and made sure it was sent and delivered in good condition. Excellent customer service!

It's not everyday you set out to build your dream home, so don't trust just any builder to take on the task. Frontier delivered on everything we wanted in our new home and more! The quality of design, workmanship, and professionalism from the project leadership team made the entire build process much easier than we anticipated. I'm not saying there weren't bumps in the road - that comes with any build - but I will say that this builder was always focused on getting past each issue quickly and to our complete satisfaction. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who is looking to either build their own dream home or to transform their current home into their dream home!

Danny Tu is great to work with to design your new home. He has unique and wonderful ideas to transform our vision into reality due to his extensive experience in the industry. He was quick to make changes as needed and communicated well. He is talented and easy to work with.

Communication between customers, suppliers (like me) and trades is the key to running a smooth project. Building someone's dream home is a team effort. Frontier has a fantastic team that is well coordinated. Brandee is the one that makes it all happen. I love the clients Brandee sends my way. They have a knack for getting really great clients & it's fun to be part of that team!

We absolutely loved working with Frontier custom builders. They are very knowledgeable and will design exactly what you envision in your custom home. We absolutely loved their professionalism, accurate scheduling, and timely communication. Cailee was always so thoughtful and helpful with everything. Wayne and Danny, please accept my sincere appreciation for the hard work, patience and dedication that went into the designing process for my parents home. It has been 10 months since my initial review, and I would love to say everything has been made right. It has not. We have found that our generator was installed incorrectly potentially voiding the warranty. The doors facing the lake do not, and have never worked properly.
There are always excuses for why things go the way they do. It is important that a company take responsibility and fix issues in a timely fashion. This has not been our experience with Frontier. If you do not have the expertise to take on a project you should not do it, or get help. Apparently our house was too much for them.

We signed with frontier in December of 2020. Finally broke ground in April of 2021. House was still not complete but livable by November 2023 so we moved in because rent plus mortgage was killing us. All of the house things are still not complete now in September 2024. Pool started February 2024. It was just able to be filled last week of August. Guy to set up the equipment still has not arrived.
They are not honest actors. Do not believe the timelines they give you. There is always an excuse as to why things are not done. There are always more costs. If we had a way to get out of the contract we would have.
Beware.

I've been in the lumber business 35 years and this is by far one of the best custom builders I've ever worked with. We moved into our new home a few weeks ago.
The freezing temperature hit hard this past week, and at the same time, half of the city was without gas, which meant we had NO heat. We had no heat for almost 3 days, with 1 of those days going down to 18°.

We have animals and kids, and all the roads near us were ice, so we were stuck.

However, our house never went below 61° the entire time, talk about an amazingly built home!!! My husband and I are beyond happy that we chose to build a Frontier home, not only is it beautiful, but it's built strong and secure. Thank you, Wayne and the Frontier team for keeping our family safe!

We had been looking for a reputable Home builder for large, Custom-built homes and found Frontier Builders. Janelle and her Team provided us with the Builder expertise and attention to details that we were looking for with a positive, responsive approach to the Home buying experience. We had NO major surprises and the construction quality was fantastic!

We have been working closely with Frontier over the last few years on all of their projects. The entire team is great!! Brandee and Janelle do an excellent job managing the office. While their project manager Judy is always on top of everything in the field! The entire team does an excellent job of communicating and our installs are always a breeze! PS. they build some REALLY cool houses!!
