Blue Hippo Roofing installed my roof and also completed some interior repairs caused by prior leaks. I worked with Khaled from start to finish, and he was excellent—staying in constant communication and making the entire process seamless. Their pricing was very competitive compared to other companies I considered.

The roofing crew arrived on time, stayed focused, and installed high-quality Owen’s Corning shingles along with solar attic fans. The paint crew was just as professional—they carefully laid down tarps and covered my furniture with plastic to prevent spills and dust. Their work was flawless; you’d never know there had been any damage.

What really stands out is that Blue Hippo offers a wide range of restoration services, and based on my experience, they’ve earned my trust as the company I’ll be using going forward. The price is fair, the quality is top-notch, and the service is outstanding.

We had the pleasure to meet Chris Martinez today. We scheduled an appointment to look at two different homes on the same property.
Chris sent a text message letting us know his arrival time and arrived as scheduled. He introduced himself and shared some information regarding the company. He explained each step to complete estimate. He was very thorough and shared his findings with me. Chris offered multiple choices for the repairs needed and spoke with confidence. His professionalism and the pride for the company was refreshing.

Diego was very helpful and informative about the inspection process as he was performing his duties.

He had a good attitude despite the heat and mosquitoes, he trudged through and got the inspection done.

He also shared information on drainage options, and gave me a brochure of the possible solutions that he recommended and didn't try to force an upsell, which is greatly appreciated!

When the time comes, I'll be utilizing Olshan's Services in the future.

Olshan phenomenal. Although it took Olshan a while to get back to me due to misrouted inquiry, Tracy rep took charge and immediately accommodated me within my limited time. She came out immediately gave me a quote and even worked with me. The worker, Villi Gomez and Joody was so willing to help with whatever the request was. I havent seen customer services like this in a while. Whatever it is you need they are willing to accommodate. Koodos to Villi Gomez and Tracy. Thank you for your effort. I am elated over the informative information that Don provided regarding my foundation repair. His meticulous explanation reassured me the return on my investment would reap benefits for as long as we owned our home. Koebe provided a very detailed drawing of the work to be performed and how the issues would be corrected. When the supervisor Angel and his crew: Miguel, Santo, Alex, Miriam, Rolando, Barrigo, Ramira, Trejo, Lima & Santo came out to complete the job it was amazing to see how much pride they displayed in their impeccable work ethic. Angel took measurements before and after the foundation was raised and his calculations were .3 or less within the margin of error. I was very impressed over the work that had been completed. Talk about a hard working crew that got the job done the right way. Thanks a bunch guys!!!

Genearo, Mario, Rodolfo & Wilfredo did a superb job digging a 15 foot tunnel under my fouGenerous, The plumbers Alex & Donovan was able to fix the drain pipe that was leaking expeditiously & adequately. These guys worked very well as a team and their concerted effort produced satisfactory results. Kudos to all these guys for exceptional team work. The plumbers test the drain pipe that was leaking to make certain the issue at hand had been rectified. Outstanding job guys.

BEWARE - Seek an alternative foundation repair company

I had a very bad experience with Olshan, and I would recommend that anyone seeking foundation repair services not use them.

We have a pier and beam house, and noticed that some of our doors began to stick. We called Olshan, and they sent someone out promptly to assess the issues and generate a repair plan / cost estimate.

The estimator/ sales rep (who I will not name) did a bad job. While he acted professionally, initially, his assessment of the work needed to repair the foundation (a routine jacking up of the house and shimming the low points) was incorrect.

His estimate of the work was in the high thousands of dollars, but after the repair team (who were hardworking and professional) had worked for a day and a half, Olshan stated that the floor joists (which the estimator had reviewed and taken pictures of) were insufficient to support the weight of the jacked-up house. (The weight of the home should also have been clearly accounted for, given the estimator spent ample time in/ around the house.) These issues, they said, required additional piers and new beams to address, which would push the cost to ~3x the original estimate.

I told them that I would need to re-bid the work, given the significant increase in cost. At this point, my house was still on the jacks, and I would need at least a couple of weeks to get additional quotes. Olshan informed me that they needed the jacks for additional jobs, and that I would have to pay them for the time they spent working on the house.

While the contract did state that costs can increase if unforeseeable issues are found during the completion of the work, our issues should have been foreseeable for a company like Olshan that a) had unfettered access in/ around the house and b) has done this for many, many homes. Thus, I did not feel that I owed them money for work they did, given I think they should have foreseen potential issues. Had they let me know of the potential for issues and the 3x price tag, I would have gotten additional opinions/ estimates and potentially prevented the work they did on the home.

Olshan and I disagreed as to whether the issues were foreseeable or not. Unfortunately, I had provided a check for the original cost of the job to Olshan on the first day, and they had already cashed before the job was completed/ before these issues arose. I let them know that cashing the check before the job was complete was unacceptable to me, and I asked that they write me a check to return the money.

Initially, the estimator apologized for cashing the check (which I can understand as an administrative error given the scale of Olshan), and informed me that they would promptly return the money to me, net of the cost of the work already done on the house. Now, bear in mind that when I asked to receive an invoice / line-item costs for the work completed, it was never provided. Instead, I was told that it was a certain number with no supporting documentation.

At this point, Olshan escalated the issue to their regional GM, Renee, and took it out of the hands of the estimator. Renee and I came to a resolution on the amount, and after a bit of a delay, I received my money back, net of the amount agreed upon.

Despite all of the above, I would like to compliment the repair team, who I believe to be very hardworking; competent; and professional, and Renee (the regional GM) who acted very courteously and professionally, in the midst of all the issues stated above, to help come to a resolution that was acceptable, if still unpalatable to me.

We recently started working with Olshan Foundation Repair to manage our house's foundation, and they have been a breeze to work with. Joshua Gray came out and took readings while talking me through the process and offering stellar preventative advise, while Nettie and Mariela handled everything in the office seamlessly. We are grateful to be working with them and will continue to use them for the indefinite future.

I cannot say enough great things about Olshan!

I have a pier and beam home in Galveston with high humidity/moisture issues. I did a lot of research and had three companies out to give me quotes.

I knew Olshan was my choice beginning with Diego in sales. He explained their process thoroughly and answered all my questions. I am retired now, but was an approved City of Houston drain layer landscape contractor for 24 years... so I know a LOT about drainage.

The Project manager Vinny (Olshan Plumber) was also very informed and thorough. The day we started the work Vinny introduced me to job supervisor Teo V. and crew: Miguel M., Gabriel V., Elmer M., Felipe G. and Beny!

They were here a week installing:
1. CS "J" Drain w/ Gravel, Sump pump and discharge pipe.
2. Vapor Barrier w/ dimple board and 14 mil. plastic cover.

The crew was professional, polite and hard workers. They took a great deal of pride in what they do! The work site was cleaned and washed at the end of every day of work. When the crew left the final day, they presented me with pictures and video of the completed work and left my home spotless! SPOTLESS!!

Olshan's indeed knows the power of customer service and pride in workmanship!

I had some issues that I thought may be foundation. I could Oldham out to do an evaluation. Chris Martinez came out and check everything out, looked things over, and let me know the foundation was not the issue.

Joshua Gray from Olshan came to evaluate our foundation as we had some concerns. He was very thorough and detailed and personable. He took the time to show me and explain his findings to me in a layman’s language … not technical…so I understood what he was explaining. I couldn’t be happier with the incredible job Olshan did leveling my home’s foundation. From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Great experience from the initial inspection (John) to the final cleanup. Good communication with the project manager (Roland) and the crew supervisor (Ruben) so we knew what to expect every step of the way. Crew (Nery, Uvaldo, Luis Angel and Elben) did a good job of minimizing the impact while ensuring that the house was raised and stabilized. Professional all the way around.

Tracy handled all the paperwork and was in constant communication with us. The foreman Emilio Perez was so polite and was watching every facet of repair work. Gilberto Gill was the Specialist in foundation repair was always checking every thing twice and very good communication. A big shout out to the hardworking team for working long days and had to dig a lot of big holes on all the sides of our house there was nothing level in our house.
