Requested a quote online for work, and was told to call the office for a quote. Called the office, and the person who answered was extremely rude. He said they were not quoting projects until maybe next week, and when I explained that I'm trying to move my project ahead more quickly, he hung up on me mid sentence.

Fixed my bathroom circuit. Needed a new breaker. Checked the plugs. Reasonable price. Easy to work with and definitely will use again whenever needed. Highly recommend.

A picture is worth a thousand words... I had a similar experience to Sam DC. $500 to remove replace two ceiling fans and replace with chandeliers and two install dimmer switches. Picture is the quality of their work. Choose carefully.

Their is a lady that works here that is very rude. I did not get her name because she never offered it. We were having a polite discussion until I asked her why on a question. Apparently, if you question her, she yells, cusses and hangs up the phone. One time calling was all it took for me to not contact them again. Also look at the other one star responses. What is said and their reply is all you need to know about what they truly think of people.

I called late in the afternoon and they got me taken care of the next morning at 8. The electricians were prompt, curteous, and very knowledgeable. I first called them because they are supporters of the Heights Association. Their promptness and knowledge is why I will call them in the future. Thanks James and Anthony.

They are a dishonest and terrible company. Taking advantage of customers with a $148 service call fee that they do not inform you on beforehand... and then later lie about it. I agreed on the $40 amount with the technician paid in cash for 5min of work, resetting a switch. Just now posting because I saw this bill with a made-up story where they tried to get me to pay even more. Stop lying to customers guys and you won’t get this rating.

Harmony Electric Co is my go-to company for residential and commercial service over the years. They have always been thoughtful, honest and fair. They have added outdoor lines for the koi pond and the fountain. When I had a small office building they took care of it. Recently I handed them a punch list of make-ready's for my mother-in-law's condo. Ceiling fans, wire a washer and dryer nook, and hang her chandeliers. As gently as could be, it was suggested that I have the old lamp rewired first. Safety first! That means a lot.

I am opening a coffee shop without a general contractor for the buildout. Halfway in my electrician bailed the job. I then have dealt with many electricians in town to finish the job and have realized how much you can be ripped off by these guys. Finally I found Dennis and Laura. Best people I have ever met. They charge you for the fair amount, not trying to scare you with other potential problems just to make more money. Try other electricians and you will know! These are honest and genuine people, and I really appreciate them considering how cruel the construction market is..

The electrician that came out was very nice and went with me to a couple of places to track down a new timer for my pool pump. He selected the timer and installed it. Now a couple of weeks later my pool company tells me that the wrong voltage timer was installed and this caused my pump motor to burn up. Seeing that this is costing me $525 for a new motor (which was replaced within the last 2 years) I also am having to pay them for the installation of the correct voltage timer which was another $250. When you add in taxes I am having to pay $800 for something that should have cost me perhaps $275. Oh and that is not counting the nearly $200 I paid you. My pool company has recommended that I not use your services again and I have to agree.

I reached out to multiple companies after an accident at home and Harmony was quick to respond by email (which was convenient) and professional. They heard me out, assured me it would be okay, and triple checked light fixtures for the peace of mind. I will keep their information on hand for anything I may need in the future. Thank you so much!

This was my first time to visit Harmony Electric. Dennis was Friendly and Professional. He has a Lot of Knowledge and Experience. If You need any kind of Electrical Service Work, look No Further! They are Conveniently Located in The Heights. I Highly Recommend Harmony Electric!!!

I was recommended Harmony by the previous home owner - Raoul the electrician arrived on time and went about trouble shooting the issue which he solved within the first hour. He also offered some good general advice which was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend these guys to anybody else!

This is the second time we've used Harmony. The technician that came out, Raul, was courteous and efficient. The prices are also quite reasonable -- I was really expecting the cost to be a bit higher for the job than it was. Good service, good value, can't beat that :)

Called to get a quote for car charger/nema plug. I was told by the office that an electrician will call back to go over the details of the project. I did receive a call back and mid conversation the electrician hung up and never called back. Based on the reviews, it doesn’t look like I am the only one who experienced this.

Anthony (eletrician) was an hour late to our house. His excuse was that his phone was out of batteries and that he didn't have GPS. Very unprofessional right off the bat.

He poked around the breaker box in the house and the meter outside. From what he saw and measured with the voltmeter, nothing was wrong. He said that there was no way he could troubleshoot. Then he said he would check the breaker box again with another gadget and miraculously found the issue. His solution was for us to call CenterPoint.

This whole process took less than 30 minutes and he ended up charging the full hourly rate of $148 per hour. Because he did not have a working phone, I went inside to grab my credit card to call the office to pay. I was greeted by the lovely Laura (wife of the owner). I asked her a few questions about the rate and why it was fair to charge customers for the full hour when the electrician only performed half an hour of work. She immediately started to raise her voice and yelled at me. She said that the rate was fully disclosed and that there was a minimum flat rate of $148 for the first hour (which was not mentioned at all in a previous call when we inquired about the rate). After a couple more rude exchanges, I ended up paying. She mentioned that the electrician would stay the full hour and inspect the house (i.e. change light bulbs), which I declined because I just wanted him out. I went outside to get the invoice from Anthony but he was no where to be found. Again, very unprofessional.

I notified Laura that Anthony had left. She said he would come back with the invoice, but he never did.

This was one of the most frustrating and worst experiences I have ever had and would never recommend Harmony Electrics to anyone I know. There are glowing 5 star reviews on Yelp, but I struggle to see how this company could deliver such service.

I live near the Heights and have used these guys for several jobs, always with solid work, courteous service, and a fair price. This has included a couple of big jobs, including replacing my entire service panel. For just a few hundred bucks they were able to add a main disconnect/lockout and plug whereby I can safely run most of the house off of a portable generator; an inexpensive alternative to the fixed generators that some people install, at a cost of thousands, for a once-every-20-year event.

I usually get multiple bids out of habit, but keep coming back to Harmony. Do yourself a favor and avoid the big companies that advertise aggressively...the service is no better and they jack up their prices to justify the advertising. You can bet they also spend a small fortune scrubbing their on-line reviews. I prefer to support the honest, little guy.

I live in the Heights. Had them come over to install a new outlet for a security camera which required they tap into an existing circuit I had run for a gate motor. They talked me through the options for surface-mounting the electrical box, how they were going to cut into the existing conduit, and after we settled on a location for the new box, they left to get exactly the parts they needed. They returned in less than an hour and completed the work. It has worked perfectly, they came the day I called, left no mess. It wasn't free, but I got exactly what I wanted and quickly. Perfectly fine experience.

Excellent service. We have used Harmony Electric for several years. Does not matter what time we call and what the need is they are very fast at responding. They advise us of any issues when on site. Definitely would recommend them for business or personal home issues. Technicians are very polite and courteous at all times.

Very happy with the service I received from Harmony Electric, Raul the technician, Dennis the one in the office and the lady who answered the phone. Harmony Electric Co.'s technician, Kenneth Miller, did a thorough and professional job. He arrived on time and was courteous and efficient. He solved the problem with first rate, professional knowhow. We have used Harmony exclusively for electrical repairs, etc. since we moved to Houston and have been pleased and satisfied with their work.

Harmony Electric was fantastic. They completed the repairs quickly and the service tech was very professional and helpful. Plus, the costs were very reasonable. I plan on using them for all my future electrical needs.
