Superb service. I contacted Harmony after a surge protector failed in a house I just purchased. The home warranty wouldn't cover the replacement. Harmony came out (super punctual) and performed a replacement quickly. They were professional and courtesy.

    Good local electrician!

Danny from Harmony Electric came to my home. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained the repairs to me and fixed my ceiling fan light. He was courteous and very professional. Thank you Danny for excellent customer service. I will definitely be using Harmony Electric for any future electric services.

We contacted Harmony Electric for help with a rental property. The electrician promptly set an appointment and evaluated the house. He outlined the problems, gave me three options to fix the problems and what each option would require (e.g., labor, cost, time, etc.). We agreed to an option and he completed the work within the week. Not only were we pleased but the renter was happy with the professionalism and quality of work. I highly recommend Harmony Electric and am very happy with their professionalism, quality of work and timeliness!!!

I needed help repairing my front porch light; it exploded unexpectedly. My house was for sale and I needed the light repaired quickly. I found reviews of several companies. Harmony Electric had the highest of all. I was nervous about picking a random company, but the lady I spoke to initially reassured me. I was able to get an appointment on the day I called - a lucky fluke. The gentleman took the light down, replaced the entire light with my replacement. From the start to the finish the process was quick and the electrician did a great job. I am so glad I went with Harmony and I recommend the company for your electrical needs.

Great electrician (Raul) and great company. First, responsive in answering my call and setting an appointment up at a set time the next day (no waiting at home from 9-5 hoping someone will show up in a time window). I had 8 electrical outlets that stopped working suddenly and the issue was solved after some detective work. Also had an outdoor flood light with issues....fixed in 5 minutes. Raul was my technician and will ask for him again. Thanks Raul! Thanks Harmony! Wish other services were as professional and responsive.

Reading some of these past reviews I should have never used Harmony for their electrical services but my husband called and made the appointment before he went out of town. Charles arrived and initially said we just needed a couple breakers replaced after looking at in the breaker box which was outside located in the backyard. He left to buy the replacements which took about 30-40 minutes, replaced them but then it went downhill from there. Looking at his electrical tools, he told me while walking inside my house that I had a problem with the electricity running properly through certain outlets but he wasn’t sure which ones and needed to check. I told him he could check the outlet by the washer in which he took it out and started looking at the wiring saying “interesting I’ve never seen anything like this.” I was standing a few inches away to quiet my dogs in their crate. I told Charles we could do this at another time since my husband was out of town. He then proceeded to tell me he needed to check all the outlets in the house in which I told him “no that won’t be necessary today.” Two hours later and more than $300 racked up, Charles still hadn’t left yet and wanted to now turn on all our lights to find the bad outlet or circuit. I’m no expert in electrical wiring but when the electrician blurts out he’s never seen this before while working, it was a red flag for me to tell him we could look into this LATER and reschedule. He then asks what my husband did which was I thought to myself, why are you asking me this? I was very uncomfortable at this point. Charles later goes into my master bathroom and checks that outlet as well since it wasn’t working. His comment while in my bathroom was “what do you have these rocks in your sink for? Is this for decoration? He spent more than three hours at our house when it could’ve only been less than an hour replacing two breakers. When a customer and owner of the house tells you to leave, listen the first time and don’t start asking them personal questions about their husband and bathroom decor. I did speak to the owner, Laura, who of course was defensive and said Charles was the best she had and was simply trying to resolve the issue. Apparently, leaving when the owner tells you to so we can reschedule for another time was not heard or important to her. My husband called her to which she finally apologized for Charles’ behavior but it would’ve been appreciated hearing this from her and reassuring it wouldn’t happen again.

We needed to install an additional outlet in our garage. Raul and Jeremiah came within an hour or two of the initial phone call and installed the outlet the same day.

They did outstanding work and were very helpful and polite. Their pricing is always fair! We have trusted Harmony Electric for many years. Raul updated our switch box, and installed outdoor cameras about 3 years ago and did an incredible job. (It's always a pleasure when the same installers return when there's new work to be done. Raul was familiar with how our home is wired, and I'm sure that makes installation a little simpler.)

Harmony Electric gets my 110% satisfaction and recommendation! Integrity and expertise are the words I’d use to describe them - And, a wonderful family who stands behind their work !! Wally Smith

Previously 3 stars. Good solid work and employees seem very nice and knowledgeable. I would have given 5 stars but they need to be upfront about their paid to travel and pick up parts policy. I advise getting an upfront estimate for the job. I was trying to be supportive of local business and was open to paying hourly but I felt overcharged for time where no work was conducted. They charge for travel time for parts.....even if they forget and have to go back for more parts. So it’s best to get an understanding of the total job and parts, so you aren’t charged for unnecessary travel. I would use them again, but I’m going to get an estimate first.

Update: Changed my rating to one star (previously 3 stars) after the false claims the owner made below and how inappropriate her response was. If they can blatantly lie on a public forum, they are capable of doing anything. See previous poor reviews. It was not a huge discount since one should only pay for work that was done. They removed one hour charge which should have never been charged in the first place. They call that a huge discount???? And I was not told that they would charge for travel from the start. The tech brought the wrong breaker switch parts and would have to go back for the right one. The first tech likely communicated the wrong equipment which is the reason the second tech had to correct this. A customer should not have to pay for that. If they would have said this, I would have gladly asked to give me an upfront estimate before approving the work. In addition, the tech did not wait an hour for me on a conference call. He waited 15 min (not one hour!!) and I told him when he called the day before that I would be on a conference call. So the tech was well aware of this. I even have security camera footage that can prove this. As you can see from my previous review, I kindly said I would use them again but request an upfront estimate, but after this very rude response, I will not. They charged me for 8 hours of work. When actual work done was 4 hours based on my own security camera. And they sent a tech one day and I never heard back from that tech. So they had to send a different tech where I spent another good part of my time to show the same stuff twice. Yes...time is not free, but when I had a very simple job I don’t expect that to take the amount of days and hours to complete. My wife waited all morning one day for the tech to show and he never did. They installed an outdoor ceiling fan and switch (which was the only time the baby nap time COULD have been an issue since the attic entrance was in the baby’s room), 20 ft of OUTSIDE conduit to a motion light on the garage apartment ( no sleeping baby issue there) and replaced three breaker switches located OUTSIDE (no sleeping baby issue again). That amount of work doesn’t take 8 hours. They provided a so called 2 hour discount while still charging me for 6 hours which is above the amount of actual hours worked. So I have been very very patient....this was even after calling a good solid week in advance to arrange the appointment. And the sleeping baby went to bed at 2pm for one hour and They said they just needed access to the attic to run wire for the ceiling fan and would not need to go in there again. So the sleeping baby was not an issue. I am so shocked by the response of this business.

I think they have been in business since the 50's. Highly skilled electricians who do not cut corners.

Needed a complete rewire of a 70 year old house with a senior citizen living inside. Best price out of 5 contractors! Crew will work around your schedule. Professional work, very reasonable prices. Will use them again!

After a lightning strike, David came out and inspected my electronics and put together a report for my house to give to the insurance company. A good guy and a great job done. I would recommend him to anyone and will use him again in the future.

Absolutely amazing experience! Incredibly professional, kind and thorough. I especially appreciate how well the communicated. They charged fairly for what I needed done and went above and beyond assisting with a few additional tasks. Will definitely be my go to business if ever needed in the future.

Definite Electric did a terrific job installing 14 LED can lights in our home. They helped us choose the lights, and then they quickly and cleanly installed them. The lights are gorgeous and look like lights you’d see in a museum. Hats off to Dave and his team.

We called Definite Electric after a sconce started coming loose one evening, leaving wires sticking out of the wall. Dave was there in a short amount of time, was very friendly during the process, and got the electrical situation taken care of and the sconce mounted securely.

Geez Louise! I recommend this place a million times. Dave proved his “master electrician” title and saved our house from potentially burning down! Rebuilt and fixed everything on his own in a matter of hours. We were back with power and safe the next evening.

Wow! Talk about a business who take pride on providing the best service possible. Trustworthy, great customer service, and an overall great experience. I was having issues with my electric panel amongst other things. Definite Electric came out after normal business hour because I had an emergency situation and need things addressed due to a safety issue. They came out and got things handled and prepped things to work the following day. They left and headed to another job. Well, things changed at the house and they came all the back to address it even further, and basically prevented my house from burning down. That's a pretty scary thought. Any who, these guys got it going on, give them a call, and more importantly give them your business.

I hired Definite Electric, LLC and had a terrific experience. Dave, the owner, gives everything his personal attention, does a lot of the work himself, and oversees everything from start to finish. He and his crew were extremely professional, timely, and considerate.

We asked him to run an ethernet cable from the router in our house to a detached garage apartment, and he developed a plan to go up through the attic, run it through conduit on the outside and bury it where appropriate. It fits seamlessly with the house (not easy, when it's a 100 year old house!), and there was no mess or problems created with the house. This was a difficult job considering all of the issues with a 100 year old house, but it looks great, and more importantly, the Internet works great!

So if you want a professional who is nice, courteous (as are his contractors), and gets the job done for a fair price, then get Definite Electric.

Dave Callier was by far the best electrician I have interacted with. Extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and fast. He was able to explain to me what my problem was in terms I could understand (I know nothing about these matters usually) and fixed the problem with ease. I am calling Dave for ALL future electrical issues I have. Excellent work. 5 stars.

Dave and his guys at Definite Electric are the real professionals. I have had really poor experiences with other electricians, but Definite Electric is who you should call for all of your electrical services. Dave is a great communicator and very transparent when it comes to his service times and the charges for the repairs. I always have a very honest and reliable experience with Definite Electric and you will as well.
