We initially reached out to get a quote to install a 240V receptacle that supported an electric car charging plug. Salat and Muk were so knowledgeable and friendly that we decided to immediately hire them for the job.
They setup everything quickly and as neatly as possible. We really appreciated the time Salat took to answer some of our other questions for future projects and would seriously considrer calling Nextdoor Electric again.

We’ve used this company twice now: once to install floodlights/wiring & add a surge protector, and then more recently to repair a bad oven connection. Service was prompt and we’ve been very happy with their work so far. Pricing is fair and everything being done is explained well. For the oven, Salat and Mukhtar were able to quickly identify the issue and left us with a thorough set of notes on what they did and why. Very happy to have found some trustworthy electricians who don’t make me feel as if they’re trying to upsell us on every little thing.

Salat came to my house a couple of times to install outdoor and indoor lights, repair a switch and install a bathroom fan. He was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. He was transparent and reasonable with pricing as well. Customer service is on point, as he is easily accessible and ensures satisfaction with the work. As a bonus, he also comes with a pleasant personality and sense of humor that are sure to brighten anyone’s day. I will be sure to call Nextdoor Electric in the future for my electrical needs.

Muk and Salat were highly professional in their work and they were quite knowledgeable of their trade. They gave reasonable and fair pricing for the work we desired and they recommended optimal solutions for our consideration. Our new Tesla wall charger was ideally installed and we were quite satisfied with their timely service. Job well done.

10/10 would recommend! They were fantastic and were so easy to work with. Their work was quick, efficient and beautifully executed! In addition, being able to call on a weekend, was an absolute plus. They were realistic with what they could and couldn’t do, which made me feel more comfortable with their quotes. Truly, I felt comfortable being able to work with this company and will recommend them to everyone.

Services included: Full electrical panel upgrade and EV charger installation.

This team did an awesome job. They communicated well and kept me up to date in the progress of the project. We had a small misunderstanding on where a line was going to be run, but we were able to discuss it and come to a resolution. Their quality of work was excellent. Their team was very respectful and left the area clean when finished working. They did some trenching to run a line and that went as smooth as it could be.

Overall, I highly recommend. This is a team that doesn’t need any babysitting or overwatch and will give a you quality service. I highly recommend.

Mukhtar and Dahir did an excellent job installing an exterior light and a security camera at our home. They were professional, friendly, and very efficient. They took the time to make sure everything was installed properly and explained how everything worked before they left. The installation looks clean and works perfectly.

I really appreciate their attention to detail and great service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable electrical work!

UPDATE: I have to add a negative note to my earlier glowing review. A couple of months ago, I called for an estimate. Mr. Rios came out and wrote down what I wanted to have done. Then I said other electric jobs are on my wish list but aren't as high a priority. He urged me to describe the work or problem and he'd get back to me with an estimate; I asked for a line-item estimate because I didn't think I could afford to have everything done at one time. He gave me one total estimate that, as I expected, I couldn't afford all at once. I texted back and asked how much it would be for just the couple of things that I could remember. Again, I got one total price with no itemization or even a task list. I just wanted "for this much $#### we will do 1...2...3." When I texted asking for that, I didn't hear back. After another little while, I texted again asking the status, and they replied "let me check." Then nothing. Crickets. I'm very disappointed with my 3rd Lumens experience, and didn't want to have to look for another electrician.

PREVIOUS REVIEW: Lumens Electric is excellent. I’m having them out a 3rd time. The first two times, they replaced my breaker box, then installed a GFCI (GCFI?) plug at the back outside of my house. Always professional and work efficiently. Reasonable prices. I’m so glad I found Lumens.

Had a new outlet installed for an eclectic range. Quick service and excellent clean up job by Ulises. Repeat customer.

The repairer did a great job, very professional and I will be recommending and/or using Lumen again.

These guys were on time and finished replacing my disconnect panel in the time they said. They are very nice technicians. I will definitely use this company again.

Lumens did an electric panel upgrade for my house including new meter box and feeder from transformer to meter box. They did an outstanding job and passed my inspection with flying colors. They are professional and competitive on pricing. I would certainly recommend them.

I definitely recommend lumens electric. Pablo and his crew were awesome they did a great job digging a trench and running ground wire so I could have power again. Very nice people who know what they’re doing. He even fixed my crooked breaker box. When centerpoint never showed up to do their part, Pablo was kind enough to follow up later that evening. And responsive the next day when CP did show. Thank you Pablo and crew for all your hard work.

Jason was a clear and concise professional. He stated exactly what needed to be fixed, what could wait, and what was completely optional. His personable nature made it easy to talk with him and he was quick to replace our entire breaker box. With all that said, the price was comparable to other companies, and we could even finance. Would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

After trying many big name electricians and being stood up or experiencing poor customer service, I decided to look for a smaller company.

I chose Lumens based on their reviews and decades of experience in this industry.

Jason was the electrician that came out & he was dynamic! He explained in full detail what the issue was with my outdoor dusk to dawn light.

He told me what the fee would be and was prompt in going to get the new fixture I needed and installed it in a prompt timeframe.

I will DEFINITELY be utilizing Lumens in the future.

I also passed on their information to my family and friends.

About a month back, I used Lumens for replacing my 40 year old breaker and meter boxes. Right from the first call, Pablo and his team were prompt, professional and highly skilled through out the entire job. I got an affordable quote, compared to the other licensed contractors. Johnathon came for the inspection and explained the entire process clearly, from permitting to final walkthrough. He answered all my questions. On the scheduled day, the technician was on time. He worked with CNP and city inspectors to ensure a smooth job completion. They did additional wiring work and provided outside access for non-electricians, for no extra charge. They clearly marked all the breakers and gave me a walkthrough of the work done and tutorial of new box. During walkthrough, they realized a small thing which was left out - which they appraised me and took care of right away. I was very impressed with their thoroughness and honesty. I highly recommend them. I’ve decided to use them again for couple other projects in my home.
