Hired Nextdoor Electric to install an exterior light and they were great to work with. Technicians were knowledgeable, easy to work with and very precise. On time and reasonable priced!!! Highly recommend.

We had a great experience with Nextdoor Electric. Sal came by to discuss the project to install the outlet, breaker and transfer switch for a standby generator. He was very conscientious and advised on how to install and recommended service providers for other trades. The installation was very efficient and he spent extra time teaching us how to use the equipment. Sal was very kind and respectful and treated us like he would his own family. I recommend him very highly and will use Nextdoor on any electric service that I need in the future.

We’ve used Sal and Nextdoor electric for another project and this time he again showed 5 start service. He came out after a long day and gave me a quote to install my Tesla charger and then completed the job today. If you go with someone else you’re making a huge mistake. You won’t be disappointed with Nextdoor electric

Top notch service! Just had Nextdoor Electric technicians out for the second time to our house (Feb25 and Apr 25) to install a new dining room light fixture and a new outlet in a closet. Andreas H. and Fuad Went above in beyond to make sure everything was done properly. Appreciate that detailed quote is provided before work begins. Highly recommend.

Mukhtar was just here to fix an outlet that I had tried to replace. He patiently explained how to identify the wires (I had them crossed) and fixed it very quickly. When I asked how much I owed him, he checked with his office and told me there was no charge!
I know it was a simple fix for him but it is very rare and refreshing to find a company of such high standards of fairness.

I highly recommend them for their excellent work and how they treat their customers.

Nextdoor Electric is a very professional, courteous, company which employs sagacious and adroit electricians. All of my electrical needs were taken care of by one very polite and assiduous electrician, Salat Hassan. I also appreciated how they actually text you when they are on their way. You would think this would be standard, but having dealt with a plethora of less than professional electricians, I take nothing for granted now.

If you have any electrical problems, save yourself the headache of searching, and call Nextdoor Electric. You won’t regret it.

Oh yeah did I mention they have a 3 year warranty on their work.

Scheduling and communicating with Nextdoor Electric has been a good experience. They do a phenomenal job of letting you know if something needs to be changed and when they will be on their way to your site.

Fuad did a great job today helping me troubleshoot an issue with an electrical situation in our garage. It was a simple solution and he spent time walking the house with me to find the gfci outlet that could reset the garage outlets. It turned out to be in the garage the whole time, but behind a shelving unit that I had set up and forgotten that it was there. Regardless, he was fantastic the entire time and very professional. He was polite and kind, complimented me on the house and our car (which is pretty sweet)... and even covered his shoes when going inside.

He and a colleague had come out to the house several times this summer to install a generator outlet for us to utilize in case of power outages. That works perfectly. They also put in a ceiling fan on our back porch with a hot outlet that also works great.

I can't recommend them highly enough. Superb service!

This company has done work for me previously and I’ve attempted to connect for a new job as well. I received one email and then no response, and no return calls or voicemail.

Edit: I contacted this company via their website in October to schedule work. They replied via email. I responded and no follow up was received. I received no return call, and no voicemail, from my attempt two weeks ago. I received two calls from a number not associated with this company once I posted this review and the second time a voicemail was left citing this review. It is wild to attempt to claim that me not immediately responding to a text is an issue versus a company not following up from repeated contact attempts by a customer. (Of which I have one text in my text history. Notification of arrival.) Completely unprofessional behavior all around.

These guys came out and helped me on NYE - needed a simple breaker replacement and they came through same day within 1 hour. I had them come out a few years ago for a bigger emergency and they have always been open and honest with me on pricing, need, and timing.

When you're trying to make sure you get power back online for your family, there's nothing more important than someone who you can trust- and that's these guys.

Fuad did a great job installing a 50a inlet and interlock kit for a portable backup generator and relocating some breakers. He also took the time to help me test the generator setup. I recently had all nine of my outdated wired smoke detectors replaced by Muk from Nextdoor Electric. I received incredible service throughout the process.

The office answered immediately when I called and set me up with an appointment the following day.

Muk showed up on time and was very kind. He explained in great detail everything he would be doing and why. He also provided a reasonable quote on the spot. Once I approved he went right to work and replaced all the bad units and thoroughly tested the new ones that same afternoon. He made sure to warn me and gave me some time to grab my headphones before testing.

He also found some damaged wires behind one of the old units that had exposed copper wire along with some burn marks. He repaired them on the spot at no additional cost and even recorded a short video of the damaged wires so I could see them for myself. I really appreciated him taking the time to do that and reassuring me by answering my questions about it.

Once Muk was finished he asked for a broom and collected all the little pieces of debri that had fallen from the ceiling during installation which was very thoughtful.

I could not have been happier with Muk's service. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. We will absolutely reach out to Nextdoor Electric again in the future. Thank you, Muk!

Had Nextdoor Electric come out to my house to quote the installation of an outlet in my attic. Salat was the electrician that came out. He was very prompt and friendly.

We discussed what I wanted and the purpose. From there he evaluated the attic and we discussed placement location, the need for GFCI, and pricing. It was reasonable for me and he was able to start the job right away especially since he had the needed parts in his truck.

Work was done professionally and efficiently. After he was done, he cleaned up the site including vacuuming the carpet below the attic.
