Called this morning to set up an appointment due to our breaker, tripping, and our outlets inside our living room, along side of our bathroom, being completely dead. Spoke to someone this morning, which dispatched a technician within the hour. The text name was Sergio. He was a delight, knowledgeable, very friendly and explained the issue. We were very pleased with the service today thank you

I had a leaky faucet with 2 other plumbers telling me I had to remove tile to fix. Michael was able to get the job done and keep my tile intact. Saved me a ton of hassle and money. Would definitely recommend A1.

Edit to add…decided to call them for electrical service due to their great/reasonablg plumbing work…woof they wanted both arms and legs for some work. I was able to get the work done with another servicer for 1/6 of the offered price from A1.

Robert did an excellent job with the tank water heater install, automatic water shut off valve and generator hookup. The install occurred in a small attic space and Robert went above and beyond to build a walkway to the tank water heater to assist with the city inspection. Needless to say, I am very pleased.

Called A-1 plus for some electrical issues on my fixtures and switches. Mr. Jose Herrera the technician checked them and discovered that I need to replace them. I was impressed by his professionalism and courteous mannered. He discussed my options and will send me an estimate on replacing them. Over all all my questions were answered and I was impressed by his knowledge and professional support. Thank you.

A1 plus electrical is awesome Their technician Me Salazar was so efficient. He not only checked my issues but extended his expertise to other things that may become an issue. He took the time to not only explain but draw diagrams which explained it in more detail for someone with NO electrical knowledge. What makes them perfect is they were on time with updates to the ETA and most importantly AFFORDABLE.

Luis Bravo was fantastic to work with. He was professional, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. He installed two smart switches for me so quickly and made the whole process look effortless.

What really stood out was how genuine and thoughtful he was. He took the time to explain what he was doing and even taught me a few things along the way. It never felt like I had just hired an electrician, it felt like I had family helping me with the project.

If you want someone who does excellent work, treats your home with respect, and truly cares, I can’t recommend Luis enough. A1’s dispatch was super nice as well, very accommodating… and fast with the responses!

Super responsive. I’ve used them twice now, once for an electrical issue and once to inspect my furnace. My electrical panel was shorting out and they were able to come out in an hour and replace it quickly. The technicians were polite and communicated well thru the whole process. The technician who serviced my furnace was polite, and took time when he was done to explain everything to me and give me options for improvements. Their scheduling staff also keeps me up to date in a timely manner. I will be using A1 Plus services for all my electrical, plumbing and AC work.

I used Jose Herrera and he’s probably one of the most efficient, understanding, well groomed and educated people thats ever been in my house. His smile and personality automatically got him hired. A1 office was great too. I will always use Jose for anything electrical. He replaced my smoke alarms and they look great. Thank You Jose

Had a great routine maintenance visit as part of my membership. Skylar, the tech, was passionate about his work. He performed the maintenace and didn't try to sell me anything. I could tell he was genuinely interested in helping me out. I've attached photos I was sent of his work.

Donnie did a great job. Friendly, courteous, professional. Reviewed order, double checked placement on new plugs. Work went quickly, and reviewed what was done. Very pleased. I think I have found my new contractor!

Haven't had any work done just yet..but I feel confident in using them after meeting with their estimator. He answered every question with patience and knowledge. I'll be discussing the estimate with my wife and hopefully will facilitate their services.
Edit: Have procured services from them and am surely impressed! Emilio and Jorge were my techs and they did a fantastic, professional, timely job. Had them do a generator interlock build out, install 2 exterior plugs and replace 2 outdated electric panels. All the work was done expectantly. Clean and level panel placements..one had to be moved for code violations..with minimal damage to surrounding fascia. Excellent all around, even Ricardo the estimator was honest, forthwith, and dedicated to satisfaction. Bravo! A1 is not just a name for them, seems to be their philosophy.

Skylar did an excellent job on my HVAC service. He was prompt, professional, and quickly diagnosed the issue. Everything was explained clearly, the repair was done efficiently, and my system is running perfectly again. Honest, knowledgeable, and reliable—highly recommend!

Michael worked on my shower faucet till he got it to stop leaking. He replaced the parts in the shower faucet in wall. His drive and determination was refreshing. He’s a hard worker and a very friendly and nice young man. I highly recommend him and A1 to do plumbing repair work. Thank you Micheal so much for your honesty. It’s rare to find people like you. I've used A1Plus several times as I have rental properties. Each time has been satisfactory; however, for this recent visit, Bert I. was sent to assess a garage light at a rental property that recently went out. The lightbulb appeared to be a specialized one that I was not familiar with. Because this was a rental property, I sent an electrician to assess if there were any concerns.

Upon arrival, Bert performed an inspection of the property and sent an estimate for $11,000 of work that wasn't necessary. This included replacement of the breaker box ($6K) and a host of related charges including safety switch ($1,200), permitting ($500), labeling the new breakers ($500), surge protector ($900) and others.

His estimate for the garage light was $780 to change the entire fixture. When I asked which part of the light was broken, he could not answer. He could only say that the fixture is broken and needs to be replaced. Additionally, he tried to rationalize the pricing by saying it was in line with what I had previously spent with them (~$500 for replacement of a breaker). Bert is neither trustworthy nor ethical.

Follow-up: I found a replacement lightbulb for $15 and the light fixture works perfectly fine.

I recently hired this electrician, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. They arrived on time, communicated clearly, and took the time to explain every step of the work in a way that made me feel informed and confident. The quality of their craftsmanship was truly impressive—precise, efficient, and completed with real attention to detail.

What stood out most was their professionalism and respect for my home. They worked neatly, cleaned up thoroughly, and made sure everything was functioning perfectly before leaving. It’s rare to find someone who combines skill, reliability, and genuine care for their customers, but this electrician absolutely does.

Michael W (Journeyman Plumber) did a fantastic job. He was professional. He was clear about what he was going to do, why he was doing it that way, and why I should care. Most importantly, my research indicates everything he suggested was in my long term best interest. I will have him back for other plumbing needs. Based on my experience with Michael, I will try A1 Plus again for other jobs. Based on the other reviews of them, it could be a bit of a crap shoot on the actual technician sent out, but I'm happy. I'd suggest getting a quote from these guys at a minimum. If you like the technician they send, it should be a fair price, and they are worth a try.

Michael told me how much he was going to tear up the house to get to the pipes he was replacing. It took him a little longer than expected to get the job done, but he was able to show me both of the unexpected findings hidden in my wall that caused his extra work. He did his best to clean up the area after he was done, which was MUCH better job than most of the other tradesmen I've used.

Highly recommend.

I had a 40+ year old galvanized pipe with a pinhole leak in the kitchen. It went unnoticed while I was traveling for a week. I made the kitchen side cut to patch the leak (pictured) and let the dry wall dry. I had Michael replace the entire vertical water line drops from the attic, and the horizontal runs to the dish washer and sink (pictured). The drywall patch is on top of the repair by a drywall expect, but that's normal.

UPDATE - 2026 - Jason M on the Electrician side did a fantastic job. It was a small job, but he arrived quickly, diagnosed my electrical GFI outlet issue, and replaced it quickly. I'm still happy with the A1 team and I recommend you at least get a quote from them for plumbing and electrical.

Freedom solar power company is very professional . They did very well on my project, thank you very much

Adding an expensive solar system is a big decision and preparing and installing the system is a big job! This is the first part of a multipart review of our experience with Freedom Solar Power of Houston. To start, our project manager Garrett has been a pleasure to work with. Garrett has been helpful, informative and professional. We look forward to progressing the project with his help. The electrician, Mark Cruz was super, Mark was prompt, tidy, patient and very professional. If the rest of the install goes as well, the second part of this review will be as glowing as this part. Stay tuned.
Despite a small delay, Freedom Solar Power continues to deserve a 5 Star rating! The installation is complete, looks great and as soon as the city gives the thumbs-up, we are a little less grid dependent! Thanks again to our PM Garrett and a special shout out to the installers, they were lovely to work with. They informed us of what was being done and made sure that we were comfortable with everything. Can’t wait for go-live!

I had an outstanding experience working with Ms. Silvana from Freedom Solar. After a frustrating experience with Solar Brothers, Silvana really turned things around for me. She took the time to listen to my concerns, offered expert advice, and helped me secure a Tesla Powerwall 3, which has already saved me a significant amount on my electricity bills. Her guidance on financial options made the process smooth, and she stayed in touch personally, even reaching out via her own cell phone to ensure everything went smoothly. She even got me refunded on my cancelation fees for my previous electric provider, and provided me with a new provider that is way better (Just Energy) that provided FREE NIGHTS so that my bill was even lower, and worked well with my powerwall.

It's been two months since installation, and I couldn't be happier with the performance of the Powerwall. I highly recommend both Freedom Solar and Silvana for anyone interested in making the switch to solar.
