Jose, is a master electrician and the perfect person to address our problem with the GFI switch for 4 of the kitchen outlets shorting and tripping the GFI. He was focused on the big picture and worked to understand what was causing the problem rather than "black box" replacing individual components until the problem went away. He was clear on the cost structure up front and worked to clearly communicate the possible solutions and options as he worked the problem. He scheduled the appointment to fit our calendar, texted when he was on the way and always on time. We will certainly use Jose and Electrical Works of Houston again. We also have recommended them to our daughter as a reliable, trustworthy resource for her remodeling project.

Very impressed with Electrical Works of Houston. I called to have them give me an estimate for installing a whole house surge. Within Days Jose was at my home assessing what was required. Two days later I had quotes for two different options. Within the week they were installing what I wanted. Very professional. Very respectful of my home. Took the time to explain to me what the surge protector would and would not do. Was so happy with them asked Jose if he could speak to a neighbor for their needs of an electrician, which he did. Have decided to use them for a possible install of a backup generator. Good to find someone who was less interested in selling you something you might not need versus providing you with the best options to fulfill what you wanted.

What a find! Had an electrical issue with my outdoor GFI switches. Remembered seeing an Electrical Works of Houston truck at my neighbor’s remodeling site and taking a picture for future reference. Wow…so glad I did. From calling to describe my problem and scheduling an appointment, I could tell that I was dealing with a “Service-oriented” company. The receptionist was so friendly, courteous and helpful. Kaylie actually gave a two hour-window…so unlike many who want to require a half-day-window and confirmed my appointment with an email advising that Jose would be my serviceman. Not only did Jose call to discuss my problem and confirm the appointment, he advised he would be coming to make an assessment, make repairs if possible, and advise and schedule additional time if required. Jose texted before his arrival. He is professional, thorough, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient! He performed a complete check of my electrical system. Not only did he service the inoperable GFI, he checked all the outside GFIs. He used the parts I had to replace the bad plug and also two other that were old and corroded and would be failing soon and was here for an extended time. Cannot say enough great things about my experience! Definitely my “go to” for any future electrical work!!

We had an excellent experience with Electrical Works. They came on Thursday for a consultation and came back the next day to install a light fixture in the dining room. They even were able to add a dimmer switch and fix a can light. Prices were very affordable. The guys were fast, efficient, and professional. Highly recommend!
