Sady, they do not seem to have adequate staffing. Our neighborhood pool is closed often as a result. Very disappointing.

Needs to employ more respectful people.

Don’t know about how their service is but their driving ethics is horrible. Just witnessed them drive out of a neighborhood off of clay rd in Katy into oncoming traffic and didn’t stop at the stop sign. If they don’t care about courtesy and safety on the road I can imagine how their customer service is?

**Terrible** Steer clear of these guys. Pool became infested with biting insects THREE times over the course of one year. Also had to have pool drained and cleaned by new pool company b/c of the chemical disaster these guys made of our water. Lousy service, dishonest techs.

This company sucks. We contracted with them to take care of our community pool and they didn't show up when we called them for emergency service and then they didn't show up for their first day of service with us and their communication is horrible. Stay away from them!

Sweetwater is real dependable. Excellent work.. They work well with Stevens Landscape Service to make a beautiful back yard.. I highly recommend them..

The lifeguards are not working in duty time, no one sit on the stand for at least half an hour. It happened several times.

Was treated incredibly rude by the lifeguard manager at the eagle springs pool on 6/7/16 because I was wearing basketball shorts and not a swimming suit. They are totally unprofessional and I definitely will not recommend them to lifeguard a water bowl. They allowed people to get drunk there but my shorts were against the rules

I called to have my pool deck redone and was told an estimator would call me back later that day. Two weeks later, I am still waiting. Not much luck with another Houston pool company, same thing, but this time I just left a message. Does nobody want my money?

I live in the Berkshire subdivision where this trash company manages the pool. Their lifeguards are absolute clueless morons. Every time I've gone they are on their cellphones, at the lifeguard tower not paying attention. This isn't about that however, it's about the ungrateful coward lifeguards who work there. I was in the pool with my friend when I see the lifeguard approach our table. He throws our stuff from the table onto the chairs, phones and watches included. Then he starts to close the umbrella. There was plenty of room for clearance. He does not have the right to touch anyone's stuff without asking. Especially if he wants to handle it in a disgusting manner. He's lucky my phone didn't hit the concrete because I was going to raise hell.

These bad reviews make no sense. Dan / Chris/ Diana are just phenomenal. They got my pool up and running in no time and are very knowledgeable and generous with their time!

Don’t recommend if you don’t want to wait two plus weeks for service. Sent in pics of the issue I was having 8/3, 8/8 Called to see when they were coming and they just said we’ll call you day of. 8/17 they text they’re otw and I had to cancel with them because I Contacted a different company (Chuy the Pool Guy) 8/9 and they were at my house 8/11 got the part and fixed the pump 8/13.

Kept giving these guys multiple chances to correct their unprofessionalism and shoddy work, but they were unable to do so. They broke our hot tub.

If that wasn't bad enough, the pool went from a crystal blue to a filthy green during their four months of "care." They kept promising to treat the pool with chemicals to fix the color and smell, but they were unable to do so (or they just lied and claimed they were treating it). The pool remains a stinking cesspool.

They swear they've done their best, and maybe they have, but THEIR BEST ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH.

These people are unprofessional, filthy, incompetent, and they should never be let near a swimming pool again. Absolutely disgraceful "service."

My son took the lifeguarding class with Sweetwater, intending to work for his local community pool (not managed by Sweetwater) during the summer.

It has been almost a month, and we still have not received his certification, despite repeated calls, and having received a mixture of excuses, blaming Red Cross, and attributing the problem to staff turnover at Sweetwater.

This was supposed to be an opportunity for my son to get a summer job, and the summer is almost over.

    Money down the drain.

I asked for a refund. We'll see how they respond, but I expect more of the same: deflecting blame and more excuses.

I have the Catcha kid net on my pool for safety for my 3 year old twins. Sweetwater has been incapable of taking it off and putting it back on correctly. I have tried on numerous times to show them and get this correct but they are incapable of doing this simple task. I even explained how dangerous this could be for my children.
For the past few months they have decided to not remove it and not clean my pool, yet continue to bill me. When I confronted them they have evaded my calls, not returned calls, and denied the truth that the cleaner directly told me. Both Diane and the manager Dan are guilty in this.
Sweetater is a company that cannot perform tasks necessary to take care of your pool and maintain the safety of your back yard. The company bills for services not performed. They should be reported to the better business bureau.

If you are looking for a pool company to service your pool, Sweetwater Pools is the one!
We have been a loyal customer for over 8yrs. The customer service we have received is beyond excellent.
Primarily due to Dan, who is the residential service manager. He is the BEST! Any time I have called Dan, he has responded quickly to whatever the issue is at that time. We recently had our pool acid washed and it came out sparkling white. This process was done in an efficient time frame and we are very pleased. Dan was available throughout the entire process.
First impression are important and Diane, the receptionist, is always kind & courteous and will help me with any issues and get me to the right people.

Business continues to hide reviews reporting inappropriate conduct by staff. Seems like them asking for residents contact info is actually not as okay? otherwise why care that the review is posted when it came straight from your staffs mouth ?

We have been with Sweetwater Pools for pool cleaning and maintenance for over 7 years and we love them! They are very knowledgeable and good at what they do. They will always diagnose and provide you with the best and least costly options. This means a lot! We had other companies where they lack repair knowledge, thus they will want to replace the entire unit instead of trying to repair and replace components whenever possible. This will save you money.
They are very honest and are very transparent in their quote for repairs. The customer service is excellent, especially Diane and Dan! They will always listen to you and work with you. Best quality, low cost and excellent customer service!

Unprofessional and dismissive regarding concerns with chlorine levels. When attempting to discuss combined chlorine levels with a CPO, I was very rudely dismissed and told that he knows what he’s doing because he’s certified, but then they proceeded to go weeks continuing not to fix the issue and it still is not fixed today.

I have been nothing short of amazed by the service I have received from Sweetwater Pools. They care. The President, Jim, is super responsive to customer concerns and I knew I was in great hands in giving them the project to completely re-do the pool that existed on our property when we began construction. The entire team was great and Jim even came onto the property multiple times to see how everything was going. Because of that, I decided to keep Sweetwater for my weekly maintenance of the pool. SO HAPPY THAT I did. If you are reading this you have to request JAVIER. Javier is upper level management for the company and will assign your pool maintenance person for your home. The cleaner we have, Jose, does a spectacular job for us. He is attentive and even sends us a detailed report with a photograph of what he did and how the pool is doing. I can't imagine not working with Sweetwater - there is a reason they have been in business for so long and people like Javier really make the customer experience worthwhile. I feel like Javier really cares about our pool and our happiness. People like him make me stick with the company! I really appreciate you Jim and Javier!
