I live in Willis, one of your trucks with 2 of your employees in it decided that parking the truck in the culdsac in front of my house, and yard of dogs was a smart idea. When asked to leave because of them irritating my dogs while i was trying to sleep because i work overnight, i was very rudely informed that ther were taking a break there. No one on this end of the road has employed y'all to do any work. By this end i mean the last 1/2 mile. The driver was smoking and so was the passenger, but the driver appeared to be either rolling a cigarette or something illegal. Since they were rude i pretended to call the cops. Its amazing how fast they left when they saw me on my phone.

We had our front yard trees trimmed and it was designed and supervised by Armaury. Excellent job, excellent customer service. Will definitely use them again.

I come home to find limbs all Over my shed in the backyard and debris everywhere. I ask the worker in the bucket to remove the tree limbs and he started snickering and just nodding his head up and down, as it was not a big deal to have tree limbs laying all over my shed. Only after I started to take pictures did they remove the limbs, the crew left limbs all over my backyard. Called the office and they blew me off saying you need to call this other number, called the other number and got the run around that a supervisor would call me. Just had my backyard cleaned and ready for the weekend and now it’s a complete mess. SORRY EXCUSE FOR A COMANY. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING.

I've worked with Davey Tree multiple times in the past and their performance has consistently remained at a very high level over all these years. Curt Smith is an extremely proactive, customer service oriented professional and a great asset to Davey Tree.

I Only trust a professional company like Davey Tree with REAL arborists to suggest how to trim my trees. Trees add such value to your home.
Just because someone has a business card, a truck and a chainsaw that doesn’t make them knowledgeable about trees. I’ve seen too many neighbor’s trees over trimmed and screwed up by unprofessional tree trimmers. Over trimming causes your tree to send out suckers to recover which gives the unprofessionals a reason to come back next year and trim suckers again and again suffocating the tree. Shameful! Davey doesn’t do that. Do your research before you let someone ruin your tree.

Curt was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help us with our tree and providing recommendations for other services. He gave great advice on how to fix our problem (even outside the domain of a tree expert). Would absolutely work with him again.

Working with Davey Tree was an excellent experience. A company is as good as their people and Davey Tree has a tremendous asset in Amaury that took care of everything in timely, professional manner. I was also impressed with their competitive pricing. You can't go wrong!

Our trees are healthier and we are more informed thanks to Amaury Martinez and Davey Trees. The technicians performing the services are professional and respectful of our property while working. They answer questions and seem to enjoy the work they do. The sales arborist (Amuary) always follow up to make sure the services were completed to satisfaction and is willing to schedule time to meet on site when necessary. We have used Davey for the following services - bi-annual fertilizing, trimming, stump removal, and moss ball spray.

Davey Tree Expert Company trespassed on my property and loitered for approximately 10 minutes, then retreated onto public roads after I stared at them for a while wondering why they had ignored the 3 no trespassing signs at the entrance to the property. Even after reaching public roads again, they sat parked, on the wrong side of the road for another 3 minutes or so until driving away. Mind you this is not a drive way, they drove way onto my property without hesitation.

Poor work. Butchered our trees along with our neighbors. Left very large tree limbs in the yard and didn’t pick them up. Squashed our potted plants and broke limbs off other plants. This contracting company needs to be replaced. Also not prepared for their own job, trying to ask a neighbor to borrow a ladder. If I could give zero stars I would and I don’t usually do reviews but this company was terrible.

A HUGE limb was touching our electrical line. Center Point Energy was called, they called Davey. Davey got the limb off the line and cut it up and neatly piled the pieces in the back yard. THANK YOU!!

Dave’s tree service was hired by our HOA to maintain part of the grass that is between the road and sidewalk on the main road, they ruin my grass by cutting very low to show dirt. All the homes they cut have there own landscaping company, WE don’t need them. I have high standards,

Davey Trees has been my arborist for about 15 years. They always provide excellent service. Very knowledgeable service advisers!

The people involved with this company were extremely professional and climbed into the very tops of some very scary trees. They were very careful, lowering tree branches to the ground and taking care of the surrounding vegetation. I have had pruners in the past that butchered the trees, leaving them looking forlorn and awful. Even with extensive pruning a very large branches, my trees were left looking beautifully natural. I would recommend them to anyone. They also did a treatment for the roots of one particular tree that was suffering, and hopefully will make it last longer.

Davey Tree gave a full service job and a facelift to our property.
Davey Tree was quick, efficient and cleaned up ALL the mess from the limbs and branches.
Now our home can breathe, because we can see it! Davey Tree made sure limbs that could potentially cause harm, by falling on our roof were cut down. Also no limbs or debris from cutting were left on the roof or the ground.
The yard was spotless when the job was completed. Well done thank you for the facelift Davey Tree Experts!

DAVEY Trees is not the cheapest tree service. Nonetheless, they provide quality tree care guided by an arborist. I have been using them for years and plan to continue to use them. When my trees do not need trimming or feeding Curt says so. He explains the rationale for their trimming style. I appreciate those actions. Today three men came out and trimmed up my front yard oaks that are taller than our two story house. They do not over trim. Never create “lion’s tails”. They clean up excellently. DAVEY TREES also contributes to tree research referenced by Texas A&M (A&M told me this.) I feel my huge trees and future arborists benefit from DAVEY TREES.

The expert was on time for the appointment. He took extra care to explain what was needed and why. I thought the price was a little high but once I witnessed the amount of first class equipment that was used and especially the expertise of the crew I knew I made the right decision. I was referred to Davey by a number of friends and am very glad of it!

Davey's tree crew performed a tree removal and the pruning for a variety of trees at our property. The supervisor and crew arrived on time and commenced promptly with work following appropriate pre-job work site review and demarcation of work safety zones. We had several crepe myrtles pruned away from our neighbors' garage and from our own house and shaped. The crew also pruned dead limbs and selective limbs from our pecans, bur oak, magnolia, redbud and pines to improve appearance. Several oak limbs were removed from above the house to avoid potential storm damage. We've been working together on improving the shape of the trees for a number of seasons without being overly aggressive. Our 31-year-old multi-stemmed magnolia looks its best ever after several years patiently and healthily molding its appearance to this point. In addition, the crew also assisted in mounting an eastern screech owl house on one of the pines. We hope our owls return this year. The supervisor and crew were professional, helpful and responsive as we collaborated together throughout the work activities during the day. My wife and I were very pleased and satisfied with how our trees look and can't wait until springtime to see how they appear in full leaf glory. Thanks, Davey for another job well-done.

If you look at my other reviews you’ll see I have high expectations when it comes to service quality, and I can honestly say that Curt Smith at Davey has exceeded all my expectations for over 2.5 years now. They planted a beautiful tree in my front yard in 2018 and Curt has been available to answer any and all questions I’ve had since then. I’m currently in the process of identifying another tree to plant and Curt is fielding all my questions, texts and pictures. I would highly recommend calling Curt at Davey if you need any kind of tree service.

Davey Tree planted a beautiful red oak tree in my backyard replacing a tree planted by my home builder that had died. I was very happy with how well their guys prepared the location and soil before planting and the new tree has been growing great! Very courteous and efficient - excellent service !

Davey Tree Company came to our neighborhood on contract from CenterPoint to clear the branches near power lines. Very blade happy group. When asked to talk to their Arborist, one person Jorge assured me that they were all certified arborists, in English and Spanish. Just to clarify, this person told me in my face that they were all certified arborists but did not have their certifications. I asked if they were certified by MADD and he said yes, exactly. Very sorry Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
We have already lost two huge white oaks due to infections. When asked if they sanitize their blades and if they were going to put something on the cut trunks, this "certified arborist" had no idea.
Davey Tree company used to be the best, their founder was the first and original tree doctor. Now they are killing them. Just on our small street in Spring Valley, TX, 15 or more guys in bright neon vests showed up. Like locusts, leaving nothing in their path. Forget power lines, they cut branches around line markers !!! I tried to tell them it is just a rope and not a utility or fiber line. Guys just said yes CenterPoint.
I understand it is not CenterPoint's problem. They contracted work out to Davey expecting quality. All is left is founder's good name that is being trashed. CenterPoint was kicked out of the Better Business Bureau. Davey is on their way at this rate.
