First time using Davey Tree based on recommendation by my parents.
Contacted local office last week and Curt Smith from the North Houston branch visited my property to provide an estimate.
Curt was on-time and gave me the impression he was knowledgable and offered good ideas; also friendly and professional.
After considering a competitor's estimate, I chose Davey Tree
and the work was scheduled for today.

Curt showed-up early and the crew was on-time this morning.
I can only say this experience was simply excellent from beginning to end and want to share the very positive encounter I had with Yudiel P, Victor R, and Edward C.

These three individuals know what they are doing, provided feedback based on my questions, and wanted to make sure I was pleased with the work.
They also cleaned-up really well before departing.
Very customer service oriented and great attitude.
I also appreciate Curt being on site a couple of times and checking on the progress.

Yes, Davey Tree is not the cheapest option in Houston but if you want to deal with professionals, proper insurance, knowledge, and exceeding expectations, I hope anyone is as happy as I am with my experience.

Came out to trim as part of their center point contract. Absolutely butchered 5 magnolia trees. Center point has had these same trees cut in the past and the company normally cuts them below enough to stay clear of the power line. Davey cut them barely above the fence line. Backyard looks completely bare. Trees are completely disfigured.

I can't believe this company could ever be considered a "professional tree company trained in modern arboricultural techniques." This company was sent by Centerpoint to "trim" my trees from the power lines, but they butchered them. Centerpoint has had other trimming done and it's never been as severe as this.

I even spoke with a trimmer once before, and they said the trees are fine as long as they're over a foot away from the lines. Unfortunately, Davey thought it best to cut them over 6 feet away from the lines. At that height, there's really no point in me or my neighbors having trees in the backyard.

I've made a complaint with Centerpoint but, judging by how many others have made the same complaint in the reviews, it seems nothing will be done. Still, people need to know that this company (regardless of location) has a reputation of not taking care of anyone's trees or working to "maintain a balance between safe and reliable electric service and the natural health of trees." Centerpoint is full on lying when using that language to describe this company.

John spent all the time it took to find the perfect trees for us. Got to know us and our goals, answered any question with grace and knowledge, and told us to call anytime in the future. The whole team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us make a good decision.

We purchased a more mature tree from MVN. It looks great in our yard. The sales process was quick and easy. The planting crew was professional and fast. We did have a minor issue and MVN was responsive and got it fixed the next day. It's great to find a business that is responsive and helpful. Their selection is great. They have huge trees if that's what your looking for.

Paul , his staff and Christmas Trees are second to none. Professional, friendly, first rate customer service. I run a non profit ministry that services CPS children who live in Residential Treatment Centers. This is the 3rd year in a row Moon Valley has partnered with us. Many of these children have never had Christmas Tree. Paul works with myself and my ministry enabling us to afford their beautiful trees.
Please consider Moon Valley for your Christmas Tree and all your plant needs.

We began working with Moon Valley in the spring of this year. We had a landscape plan but not settled on the specific plant materials. They were a great resource to choose materials that were appropriate for each location while realizing our vision.

They planted all the beds and have stood behind their promise when any individual plant failed.

We signed up for a series of injection feedings to ensure the new plantings would thrive. Moon Valley is great about getting those feedings scheduled. Their technicians are on time, knowledgeable and professional.

The store is well organized, and everyone is friendly and helpful at this location. A special mention to John D, very professional, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure customers are taken care of. You can tell he truly cares about both the plants and the people. Great experience every time I visit!

This was such a great Christmas tree picking experience. From the help to the fun. Our kids enjoyed some Christmas craft making while we looked for the perfect tree. Everyone was so nice. The start of a great Christmas!

Nico and his crew did an amazing job today replacing my queen palms that got blasted during the past winter. Last year they planted sables and queens. The cold weather was not good for my queens. However I purchased insurance on the palms due to past experience. They replaced my queens which are beautiful. I have nothing but high praises for the palms and the installation crews are professional and do an amazing job. Thanks Nico and your crew. 👏👏👏

Jared greeted us with a smile. Asked about our trip there if being our first time or not. What made us come in and other things. We started talking about the trees and plants. He answered all the questions I had that came up during our conversation. Even looked into our HOA policy to see if we could have certain trees, was not expecting a call back so soon let alone so quickly. He looked into the HOA policy and gave me an email with the policy and did the digging so we didn't have to. And very promptly gave me a call back very quickly too within an hour after leaving the store. Definitely recommend both the store and Jared Brighi. And we left with a few different plants and an Orange Tree
