We can’t say enough good things about our experience with The Urban Foresters! Chris, Douglas and the entire crew were great to work with from start to finish. They arrived on time, ready to go, and got right to it, very professional and considerate crew. We had two very large trees, Elm and Live Oak, close to the house and power lines, and both were removed seamlessly. Once removed they ground down the stumps and threw everything into the chipper. We were able to communicate exactly what we wanted, and Urban Foresters provided it. Before the team left they removed all debris and swept the yard, not a leaf or stick was left on the ground. Our house has a brand-new feel. We will be recommending The Urban Tree Foresters to all of our neighbors, friends, and family for their tree trimming, and removal regardless if it’s a private or commercial property.

I've lived in the Heights area for almost 12 years now and this was the best tree trimming service I've ever received. It was easy to schedule and the crew was here promptly at the appointment time. The crew was very skilled and were able to trim my large front yard oak to open it up but still preserve the canopy over my yard and house. They trimmed four of my trees and they all turned out nicely. The breakdown of the debris was done on-site as well as the haul away. There was absolutely no mess after the job was finished. The crew was very nice and cordial and ensured that everything was trimmed to our expectations.
I would highly recommend their services if you need any trees large or small to be serviced.

I had limbs from trees on city property encroaching onto my property that I wanted removed. Wes was very responsive and gave me a competitive proposal. They gave me a timely date for the work and came out right on time. I met and visited with the crew when they arrived. The crew was very polite, engaging and professional. They trimmed exactly as I wanted. They did all the work very carefully to protect my property from any damage or cuttings by falling the limbs onto city property rather than mine. When they were done,my property was as clean as when they arrived. They did a wonderful job utilizing great skills and techniques. It was absolutely amazing to see them work. When it comes time for the next regular trimming for all my property trees, based on this experience, I am confident that Urban Foresters will get the contract. Great job guys!

I brought 30 bins staff very helpful loading them. I made 2 trips & they help each time.

Upon entry of the garden center I was greeted by a attended who was maintaining the property and within the department. She said hello with a smile on her face which I greatly appreciate it. I kind of knew what I was looking for when I entered into the department and I even managed to find another beautiful plant for a reasonable cost. I even asked if I could check out in that department was she immediately replied that she could and was left with a smile. The cashier in this department was very warm and charming and even was laughing at my choice of Beverage. I gave her suggestion on the choice of Beverage would she appreciate it and it was just a nice touch to my experience.

Heidi made my visit special. Everything I needed came from her knowledge. I was surprised that she new so much about building products. She is a keeper for sure. I'm shopping this location more often. Save me time and money by going to this Lowe's. Thanks 👍🏾

I recently visited Verdant Tree Farm and the selection of trees was impressive. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful as well. I definitely recommend Verdant Tree Farm for anyone looking to add beautiful trees to their outdoor space.

Got our Christmas tree from here for a great price! While it was late in the season and most other places had low stock, they had a great variety of trees to choose from! The staff were so helpful and informative. Thank you!

Verdant was excellent. We had two 45gal mule palms installed and about 4cuyd of dirt added to the same garden beds. Scheduling was easy and the price was fair. After a rain storm the dirt compacted quite a bit, and verdant came back out to add a bit more dirt. Very happy!

Top Notch! Isreal G and these guys are my go too for commercial or residential hardy palms. Great customer service & quality of the trees is always outstanding.

Verdant Tree Farm did a great job for us! We bought a bottle brush tree that is doing just great after the Verdant team planted it for us! They are professional well informed and the products are strong an healthy!

Verdant was amazing. We had so many questions and they were so patient with us. They were very educated about the trees and helped us pick the perfect trees for our backyard. We ended up getting 2 and already are talking about having them plant more once we get our vision together. Cannot recommend them enough. Great installation and everyone who worked for the company was so kind. Really enjoyed working with them.

This business doesn't even deserve one star. On 3-16-24, I purchased 4 milkweed plants from the W. Loop location. All 17 of my mature caterpillars died as a result of eating the milkweed in less than 24 hours. The caterpillars all secreted a green liquid--indicative of poisoning i.e. pesticide. I contacted the Corp Office and they refused responsibility, a refund, or exchange. Beyond poor customer service. Never, ever will I purchase any product from Houston Garden Centers.

I just got home from visiting the Garden Center on Westpark and once again, utter disappointment. I don't know who is doing the ordering for this location but 5 or more rows of pepper plants while the rest of your inventory looks like it was pulled out of a dumpster is simply bad for business and irresponsible. You're in the plant business folks! It'd be nice if you acted like it. While I was attempting to find anything I could take home with me, because it breaks my heart to leave any garden center empty handed,I overheard 2 ladies discussing, rather loudly (I chuckled)these exact same sentiments. For some reason, it's only this location that is like this. All of the other ones are great.On a more positive note, staff has consistently been polite,professional and well informed. They do a great job!

Ridiculously bad customer service.
I went to purchase about $200-300 worth of planters. The cashier went to ask the manager a question I had, and the manager (who was unloading a delivery truck) told him he didn't have time to answer my question. No time to relay a one sentence answer through his employee. Even "I don't know" would have been okay, but if my mangers ever told someone they "didn't have time" they'd be fired. Immediately.

Good selections of plants, service needs to be revise completely. There was a section of plants that was not labeled and we needed to know the difference. Went to the first associate I found and he told me to go to cashier. Went to checkout and asked another rep, she went to the manager, came back and stated the manager told her they were all busy or at lunch. I asked her what about the other reps in the front building and she told me I can go talk to the manager. I asked the manager and he said the same "we are busy and the sign says self service". Corp office probably need to retrain or give more incentives because the staffs genuinely does not care and does not want to be there.
