Jonathan and Avatex really stand behind their product and service. Since the repair he had done Jonathan has been very communicative with me to make sure everything is working great. He is very prompt and always responds to messages. I highly recommend their service.

We had a great experience with Avatex. It was easy to get an estimate, easy to schedule the work, they arrived on time, and did a great job. Jonathan was also very helpful and answered questions I had so I could get exactly what I wanted. I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend Avatex. I will absolutely use them again!

I recently had my central air fixed by AVATEX and I was very satisfied with the service and professionalism they provide. Jonathan has definitely surpassed my expectations. By far their has not been any problems since then and I can guarantee I would call them back if I need them in the future. I highly recommend them to others. Thanks again for your great service!!

Jonathan works really well with your schedule. He is friendly and knowledgeable on all aspects of home improvement. His brother Victor was the one to do all the installations. Victor is polite, knowledgeable, precise, when it comes to home improvement. He also gives really good advice on where to make our purchases. They make sure everything works and there aren't any problems before leaving. All in all it felt like working with family.

Worst employee I have ever met. Johnathan is a horrible dude couldn’t arrive to the job on time. Rescheduled twice after arriving to our house with no tools. Then he insisted he come to our house between 8:15 PM - 12:15 AM after we scheduled him to come 4:15 - 8:15 PM. Dude needs to get a grip on life. No respect for this company.

Did excellent work on my AC unit. They are extremely helpful and will work with you to try and fit you into their service schedule with an emergency repair. Good work, reasonable price.

These guys know what they’re doing. Super honest and hard-working. I trusted them to get it done right and charge me a fair price and that’s exactly what happened. I was originally going to go with the company that installed my unit and they were going to charge like 50% more for the same job.

Hire them! Knowledgeable, reliable and trustworthy. Also the work completed was swift and efficient. I had ceiling fans installed in two room, upgraded light switches to smart ones and also changed my foyer light fixtures! Great work will hire again for more home upgrades.

Installer showed up on time and was respectful of our home by using shoe covers. He installed our ceiling fan quickly and showed us how to operate it. Will seek out Avatex for any future needs.
-
They came in check out my concern and nothing appeared to be damaged.

Oh my god!!! These guys were great!!!! Great price, great timing. I recently had cancer surgery and they made a late evening repair to get things back in order. I appreciate all you did. While I hope I never have to call them again for ac work, if I ever need some work done, I’ll be calling them!

I was given a referral from Home Depot. Within minutes I received a quote and was able to set an appointment. The installation was reasonable priced and the most affordable of the referrals. Victor installed my fan swiftly. He was professional and cordial! I would use the provider again and I do recommend.

They take pride in what they do and I would love to keep them as my electrical person to do the job

After almost 25 years one of our outside units fully went out. Because it was so old it would not make sense to try and repair expensive parts considering R22 is now no longer produced and there were other issues so we needed a brand new outside unit and the attic unit to be updated.
Dealing with our home warranty was already a struggle but unfortunately our attic unit in such an awkward and tight spot that multiple companies came out and agreed that a new unit was needed but turned down the work because it would require dissembling parts to get to the back of the unit.
It felt hopeless until Jonathan from Avatex came out. They worked with the home warranty and came to our rescue and as I type this we finally have a functional AC after months of battling Texas heat. The crew the came out stayed late to finish it all in a day and was professional and efficient the entire time. Thank you to Jonathan and his team. -
We confirmed the appointment for 8-10am.
We called at 9:30am to check if they will make it in. Replied that they running late, so we told them to let us know when they are on their way.
@11:30am - "Yes, we are on our way and 45mins away"...We waited 55mins after (meanwhile no text, no call). We called them again to ask how far. Answered 15mins more. We said if you don't come in 15min, We have to leave the house for other things...Electrician, Johnathan, replied that he has to cancel it since I am complaining about ETA and he is not going to waste his 15mins drive-time to our house.
Very unprofessional. Not recommended. Left us hanging over his lack of time management skills. -
Honest, reliable, responsible and they actually care about their clients and the quality of their work. Thank you, Victor and Jonathan! They're actually not enough words to describe how dedicated and knowledgeable they are in the field of AC. They are fair with their clients and did an amazing job installing a new air conditioning in my home today. They went above and beyond in so many ways and I feel like we are in good hands. I recommend this company 100 times over.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews but our warranty company uses Avatex as their contractor and it has been beyond frustrating just to have someone come out for a repair. They’ve missed their window 3 different dates and don’t reply when I ask for an update or return my calls. I understand the struggles of being in the construction industry and appointments running late but after 3 different times, a customer should become a priority or least be provided some communication. I am happy to remove this review if we finally get someone out here and they address the issue.

My cousin made an appointment and they didn’t show up, nor did they contact her or answer when she attempted to contact them. Very unprofessional. It’s summer time in Houston, AC is a necessity not a luxury. Abandoning your customers during the hottest season of the year isn’t cool. Do better.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with this company, which was assigned by my home warranty to fix my AC. I would not recommend them to anyone.
In May, my AC stopped cooling. The technician came out and said I needed to pay out of pocket to have the outdoor unit cleaned since it wasn’t covered. I paid for that, but the system still didn’t cool properly. He then added refrigerant. When I asked why the refrigerant was low and whether there was a leak, he said he wasn’t sure and didn’t investigate further — just left it at that.
By July 1, my AC stopped cooling again. The warranty company said it would be handled as a recall and that I wouldn’t have to pay another fee. I waited three more days for the same company to come back. They told me they would come on July 4 (yes, on the holiday) between 10–2. I stayed home from 10–3 with no updates or communication. I reached out and I was ignored. Finally, around 8 pm, the technician texted saying he was “45 minutes away,” which was not practical that late. He rescheduled for the next day and promised to text before arriving.
When he showed up, he tried to charge me the $75 service fee the warranty company had already waived, and once again just added refrigerant — still not addressing the leak. He said he’d come back to add some kind of leak sealant but never returned.
Now, the very next day, my AC still isn’t blowing cold air, and I also have water leaking from my ceiling due to their failure to properly diagnose and fix the issue from the start.
This company wasted my time, failed to communicate professionally, and never resolved the root problem. I expected better service and accountability, especially for something as important as cooling during the summer heat. Very disappointing experience. -
Avatex were dispatched through a warranty company, but never responded with appointment time. After two days, I requested a new company. Communication is key in providing customer service and there was none at all from this one.

We called our warranty company on May 25 about our air conditioning not cooling. Jonathan texted on May 28 and asked if someone would be available between 6 and 8 and we said yes. He came and said our AC needed a bigger motor and that he would check to make sure it was covered and order it. He leaves and we don't hear back from him. So on June 2, I texted him and he said would check on the parts tomorrow. So I texted him on June 4 about the status of the parts. He said he should be back the next Monday or Tuesday. So, I texted him on June 9, June 10, and June 11 with NO RESPONSE at all. So, I called Old Republic to check on this and they put me on hold to call Avatex and can't a hold of them either. Old Republic said they would reach out to the company by email to inquire about this. She said she would get back with me if she got a response. Then, Jonathan texted a few minutes later and said "the motor should be arriving today" which would be yesterday (June 11). I texted him to ask when he would be out to finish the service that WE PAID FOR and still no response from him yesterday or this morning. Super frustrating when he will not communicate updates or RESPOND at all. As I'm typing this, I'm on the phone with Old Republic to see how to proceed. This is ridiculous!
Update: Old Republic called out a different company and the technician concluded that our ductwork was blocked with some insulation. So, we didn't need a bigger motor as Avatex stated. Please be advised using them because they don't know what they are doing and don't follow through.
