He’s been kind, professional, and extremely trustworthy. We used Ian for a leak on our plumbing in guest shower, and now plan to use Ian again for our primary bathroom as well. David Hicks has been my go-to plumbing service for years. They are reliable and honest and their dispatch service is well-organized. They have helped me out of several serious problems, including a hot water heater leak. Recently, they replaced my garbage disposal, which was leaking under the sink. I don't know how their prices compare, but I have found that the price they quote me is always worth the value I receive.

David Hicks is the only plumbing service I trust. And Oscar is phenomenal. I had 5 other plumbers come to my home and none were able to solve the problems until I got Oscar. He was able to trouble shoot, think ahead, and he is the only person who was able to solve my specific issues. He explained everything as he worked his way through my issues, was open and honest, and kind. I will only use David Hicks for plumbing issues. You will be pleased if you ask for Oscar! And Becca who answered the phone each and every time I called was so kind and understanding.

I also had another stellar experience with David Hicks Plumbing a few days ago. (September 11, 2024) Ian came out to my house for two sinks filling up with water. He assessed the problem immediately and explained to me the issues and all was taken care of. He also found a leaking faucet which I was unaware of and came out a few days later to repair. Ian was very kind and thoughtful and answered all of my questions so that I could understand the issues. He did not mind me watching as he made repairs so that I could be informed. He was excellent.

Called David Hicks again on May 5 2025 from the Emergency room when my neighbor told me the washing machine couldn’t be installed because hot and cold water valves wouldn’t work. David Hicks was especially sympathetic and accommodating and sent Ian over almost as quickly as I called and took care of everything properly and professionally and left me with great peace of mind. My neighbor was also very impressed.
You cannot go wrong with David Hicks Plumbing! I am very grateful to them!

They came same day I called to clear a completely stopped up sink drain!! Nothing worse than not being able to use your sink especially close to Thanksgiving when relatives are hours away from arriving! Super happy with the company and tech who came out, Oscar Montes! He was extremely thorough and definitely had to work at it! The sink has never drained so well ever! Highly recommend these guys!

Had a pleasant and informative call with Beth in the office and scheduled an appointment for a Friday. She said it would be the technician's last appointment of the day, probably after 3:30.

The technician called on Friday around midday and wanted to know details of my problem. I told him and that it wasn't urgent and could wait until next week if he was busy or wanted to go home early. Pleasant conversation and looked forward to him coming on Monday between 8 and 9. His choice and said I would be first appointment that he usually left his home at 8:30.

9:30 came around and no phone call and no technician. I called the office and was told he had an emergency client this morning and I would be next. I was not happy that someone did not call to let me know because I had another appointment at 10 am.

I let Beth know that I do not do business with companies who not notify customers that their technician would not be arriving as scheduled as Jerome the technician told me would be around 9 am. Not between 8 and 12, but 9 am because he moved it from Friday until Monday morning himself.

I've lived almost 75 years and know that when a business does not care enough to notify their customers that they will not make their appointment as schedule, their will always be problems with their respect and service to their customers.

I let them know that I would not be doing business with them at all in the future.

Nice try to gloss over the real problem that is was a miscommunication problem. No, it was not. Jerome, who represents your company apparently made a promise that he could not keep and failed to notify your company that he did and then I got lost in the process. I was not a long standing customer of yours. Quite the contrary, a brand new one. Like I said, I do not do business with companies who fail to notify their customers when an appointment is not met. It is a reflection of their lack of concern, respect of their customers and ultimately the quality of their work. Even, perhaps, if it was a one off (which is unlikely) it has sent me elsewhere.

I'm a long-time customer of David Hicks plumbing and have always had a positive experience. Jerome, Edwin, and Jonah did a great job with identifying a water leak and providing a technical solution with transparent pricing. They did a great job!

I placed a morning phone call to David Hicks Plumbing on a serious water leak that I was unaware of because the house is unoccupied. Alfonso showed up a few hours later and shut off the main water turn off valve by the street. He was very helpful and I will be contacting them again in the future to come back out and find the source of the water leak and to make the repairs. I had a very positive experience with everybody that I dealt with at David Hicks Plumbing.
