I have used HALO for years for simple maintenance and plumbing repairs for a rental property I owned and they were always reasonably priced. I called them for some basic maintenance at my personal residence and Jose and Josh were professional and knowledgeable. I am waiting for quote for the work. I’ll see if they are still reasonably priced..lol

Cris was great. He put on shoe covers before coming into my house, and he was professional and courteous throughout the process. He fixed my plumbing issue efficiently, and I'm very happy with his work.

Jair and Colton were patient and extremely helpful to me in deciding exactly the choices I should make. Clearly Halo is all about customer service, and not about trying to sell you something you don’t need. Both guys were pleasant and easy to work with.

Loren (the owner) has always taken care of me and been very accessible. Mario( the plumber) was very courteous and completed the work in a timely manner. I’ve always been satisfied with Halo.

Outrageous price!! Charge me over $600 for a shower cartridge replacement. Got quote for shut off valve replacement and quoted me $175/valve including parts and labor. I asked around and was able to find a licensed master plumber who quoted me $50/valve. My fault for not doing my research for the shower cartridge repair, and I paid for it. PLEASE ask around and get quote from different companies, do not be a fool like me! This company is way too greedy and ridiculous. RUN AWAY!

We hired halo to do pipes under our house as they were old and needed to be replaced. Fast forward a year and we had an issue with a toilet not flushing. Jose came out and explained the cost clearly before beginning the work. After going through their process they were able to figure out there was a warranty issue with the pipes that the replaced. In all honesty they could have ripped me off because they stood by their work and will be working on it soon. Will follow up if there are any issues with the warranty work. They have been responsive and honest people to work with.

They called me a cheap customer because I didn't want to pay for a bid to hook up the plumbing for a sink, garbage disposal and dishwasher on a new installation. Like they could't provide a quote over the phone for a new install. If they had said their hourly rate was X I would have told them to come on out. It's a simple job.

Horrible experience. It is impossible to get in touch with any type of management and everyone time you get the excuse that they are in a “meeting”. The work we had done doubled in price and we paid but now our toilet doesn’t seem straight so we asked them to come back and they obviously do not want to take any accountability and want to charge more to fix it since we can’t prove it was them and it could’ve been crooked before they moved it. It’s a simple fix and they have lost our business by digging in their heels over $200 after they charged us $1200 more than our original quote. Do not recommend them at all!

Original quote was $1600 and yall charged $2800 (apologies it was not exactly double?). It was not expanded at our request - it was expanded because yall claimed you could not complete it without doing $1200 more of work and you had already cut open our ceiling. We called 2 weeks later because we do not live at the property and did not inspect it until that time but called as soon as we noticed. You did not come to inspect free of cost, it was supposed to be $69 but you waived it because you would rather do that than call us back. Been waiting days for a call but apparently can get a response to a google review in a few hours. Sorry these details were not specified in my original post but wanted any customers reading the owner’s reply to have the full story!

Leo took my call just after 6 a.m. He and Mario were in my home most of the day investigating and repairing a leak. They worked very professionally and efficiently. I couldn’t recommend them more…they were terrific. I appreciate their work.

Leonard answered at 10am when I called, gave me an estimate over phone of $1300 for pipe leaking under my toilet based on what he thought problem was without looking at it and answered all my questions. Although they were working on another project, he was still able to send Mario out to come look at my issue in person later the same day at 1pm for an in person more accurate estimate. Mario noted quickly that it was just the wax seal was damaged on my toilet and the pipe was not damaged. I knew I could've done it myself, but didn't want to invest the time. He completed project on the spot in 1 hour for $250. He also replaced broken bolt and caulked around the toilet. He did good work, was meticulous, and efficient. Will call again for future plumbing issues.

Leo and Mario were amazing. The exhibited great professionalism and integrity, compared to many other plumbers out there who just want your money. These guys are exemplary in their works and care about the quality of service they deliver. Would highly recommend!

Eda in the office sent Leonard Papa and Mario to our home to deal with some leaks in our water lines that froze during the recent spell of subfreezing temperatures. Every single one of the dozen plumbing companies we contacted were so busy that they wouldn't provide so much as an estimate on when we could expect some help with our problems. One other company offered an appointment only to rescind it offering only a vague estimate when they could help. Only Eda and Houston Plumbing Services rode to our rescue the very next day and located and repaired about 10 leaks getting our water back after 10 days. Leonard and Mario were patient and entirely professional and explained everything they were doing as they were doing it. As a result, we now have water. Without a doubt, Houston Plumbing Services gained a loyal customer today and it's our pleasure to recommend this fine business without reservation.

The main water line connecting my house to the city broke and was leaking tons of water. After contacting the city and learning that it was my responsibility to fix, I called Houston plumbing services and they came out that afternoon to assess the damage and provide an estimate for the job.

Leonard arrived and stopped the leak temporarily, letting me know the cost. Since it was the afternoon by that time and the pipe needing replacing, the real work needed to start the next day. When morning came, Leonard and his assistant came bright and early and did an amazing job for a fair price, finishing in the early afternoon. They left my plumbing better than it was even before the leak. Would highly recommend and would use again.

Leonard and crew came out to my house very quickly, with masks and PPE for Covid protection, and quickly diagnosed my issue and repaired it. Very professional with reasonable prices. We went from problem to working plumbing in like 30 minutes! Plus the office/scheduling staff are very helpful and friendly. I definitely will be using them again and recommend you do too.

After the recent freeze in Houston, Leonard and his crew came to my house exactly as promised the day after the freeze and they helped me safely get water restored to my house and my pool. They were extremely knowledgable, fast and tidy. I am very appreciative of the work that they did and I would recommend them unequivocally. Hopefully, it will be a long time before something like this happens, but I know who I'll call!

I'm so glad I called Houston Plumbing Service. After bad service with another plumbing company I noticed a leak in our backyard. I searched Google for a local company with good reviews. I used their online service request form and they called to see how they could help. We we're able to get a quote with options by sharing some photos of the leak virtually. It wasn't an emergency to me but they were able to fit us in sooner than I expected. In less than two hours they removed an old water softener and patched the pipe. They even wrapped it and installed an extra emergency shut off for me. They wore ppe and followed covid protocols which was important for me. Their customer service is better than I've ever experienced, very friendly and comforting. All my service options were reasonably priced, less than I expected. I will definitely be using their services in the future and I wish all repair companies followed their standard of service. They are really the best.

I had to replace the water heater and Houston Plumbing Services did a great job. Leonard arrived on time, replaced the water heater and most important, his price was very competitive compare with the other two quotes that I got. Definitely will contact them for any other plumbing issues.

I had a broken pipe and my previous plumber kept delaying my service date. Houston Plumbing Services was able to help me the next day. The technicians were punctual, thorough and did a great job. My neighbor called the day they were coming to my job and they went to help her immediately after finishing my work. I can't say enough about how good they were. I will definitely use them again.

Incredibly professional, honest, and fairly priced. Leonard Papa and his co-worker installed our new garbage disposal in 30 minutes and were able to diagnose the cause of our low water pressure and lack of hot water upstairs. Since we were new home owners, he even helped us find our water shutoff valve. Great company and great work, I will definitely use them from here on out!

Edit 11/16: They came immediately when we had water leaking through our kitchen ceiling the first time we used the shower in our new home. They explored all the options possible before having to cut the ceiling, and in the end were able to diagnose the issue so we could properly file a claim.

They are great for both scheduled maintenance and emergencies 😊

We live in a society where we give much importance to things that don’t really matter, and when you get a service with friendly and respectful people you just have to commend them for it… Leonard and Mario came to my house twice for different services (water heater installation and faucet installation), both times they arrived in time and they did their job without a hiccup, they are also very nice guys, you can tell they care not just about doing their job but the people they’re working for.
