Great company to work with! -
I have used Joe Nettles for the second time and every time I ask for Rigo. He does fantastic high quality work, super polite, fair in price and efficient.

Joe Nettles Plumbing has done plumbing work in my home and also on one commercial property that I own. They respond quickly, do good work and have fair prices. Highly recommend.

They helped us when we needed it the most. I have a 95 year old mom so any lack of our resources is critical to her care. Mr. Nettles came right away when we were getting turned down by every plumber in town. So blessed that he was available.

I had a leak that was overflowing into my neighbor's garage (townhome community). Another neighbor referred me to this company. The two guys who came out were courteous and knowledgeable, cut into the sheetrock and found the problem within fifteen minutes. The price was affordable and we've tested with the neighbor for a week and all is well.
We did do some pre-testing on our own and I think this helped a lot. -
I have to say I was very disappointed with Nettles Plumbing, I had them re-pipe my house and they seemed very professional and helpful in the beginning, but when I texted them a few days later with some issues I had found I was told that “Saturday night at 8pm was not the time to let him know about these issue”. I expected a call Monday but never received one and still 1 month later, no phone call. I honestly expected more from this company after talking with Steve but sadly that was not the case. There was hole accidentally drilled from the attic to the shower ceiling, which just needed patching, the washing machine connection was leaking, one of the outside hose connections was leaking, and for some reason all the shelves in one of the closets where torn down and thrown in a pile with no explanation.

I just called the number I found on Google for a plumber in Tomball. The person who answered the phone said she had just spoken to me even though this was the first plumber I called. She was very rude—told me to keep on going down my list. She must be having a bad day but I had not called any other plumbers and will not call this one ever again.

Wow! I just called to get in line to have a busted pipe repaired and the lady on the phone was so rude to me. I called on Monday to get in line assuming someone would not come out until Wednesday or Thursday, and she accused me of trying to put her crew in danger on the roads as they are right now (frozen). I told her I had some calls out to a few other companies and to give me a call before they come just in case I got someone out here before that, and that is when she attacked me. Every other company I called understood my predicament and politely agreed. Obviously I’m not the only person in Houston right now with a busted pipe so I just assumed it would be understood that I would be calling multiple companies and going with the first person that could come out. We are all having a hard time right now. The least these people can do is be polite to people even if you disagree with what I am asking for.

This is a sad case of poor business practices. Repipe specialists of Harris County is a sub company of Joe Nettles Plumbing. Steven Nettles has told me many times that Nettles Plumbing would take care of my problem but they have not. I thought these guys did a good job at first but over 2 years later they haven't finished the job. I paid Steven Nettles $600 to repair the holes they made in the walls as a result of repiping. He sent a guy from Nettles Plumbing to the house who ripped me off for about $300. So that's $900 I'm in the hole. I've tried to be understanding for over 2 years (nearly 3 years). I thought he was dealing with some personal issues and I wanted to give him time. I've called Steven repeatedly. He promises to do the job but never follows through. Essentially, he stole about $900 from me. Very sad Steve Nettles is allowed to continue doing business.
Addendum June 19, 2019: Thank you for responding. I've posted this on Joe Nettles Plumbing because from the beginning I was told that Repipe Specialist of Harris County was a part of Joe Nettles Plumbing. As for you not having an employee named Steve Nettles, well until recently it was reported on their website that you are sister companies. When I paid Steve Nettles to do the work he sent an employee of your company. Steve has consistently said that Joe will straighten it out. He has a guy who will finish the job. Steve has always said he has to talk to his cousin Joe Nettles about this. This from the very beginning has indicated to me that you are in charge. If this is not the case well then I have been lied to. BTW, I have called for Joe many times and was unable to talk to him. I will try again. Again, thank you for responding. I appreciate it. -
I have used Nettle plumbing twice, and every time get the job done without any issues. Fair quote is provided in advanced when asked (reasonable pricing!), professional services done in a timely manner, details explained, no pressure for any additional services.
If needed I would hire Nettles Plumbing again without hesitation and definitely recommend to friends and neighbors. -
The customer service was great and the plumber was on time but am disappointed at how much they charged for what little work was actually performed. We requested them to come out and check for leaks due to some stains we noticed on the ceiling and some soft Sheetrock. The Plumber showed up and after 5 minutes in the attic just looking with a flash light, concluded that there was no leak and the stains were from an older leak that had been repaired. The plumber then left but a few minutes later came back and told us he was informed to collect the full 160$ fee.
The service was good, but be warned that even if they don’t actually do any work, they will still charge you the full service charge amount that they would if they actually did any work (excluding cost of materials).
