I knew it would be a long shot to get someone over here to fix the water coming out of my walls with the ice storm and roads were bad, I called one company that scheduled me and then rescheduled for 2 days later due to ice. I get it, but needed my water back on. Called Sunny Service and they were friendly and moved quick to send Daniel over here to assess and fix the issue same day, WHICH HE DID beautifully! He set up a water damage assessment to come by, also same day, so I could be aware of how much water is in my wall and can make an informed decision. Daniel did an amazing job, explaining what he saw and the why behind it, the steps he’s taking, and gave me the price before doing anything. I expected to pay a lot considering the weather but NOPE! I paid less than what I thought it’d be based on past experiences with other companies. That just tells me they weren’t trying to gouge me when I needed their help. I use Sunny for my AC servicing, now they’re my go to for plumbing!

I had a damper issue in a dual zone system. The technician was knowledgeable and determined the damper motor was not properly. He provided a quote a cost-effective repair solution that fixed the problem perfectly. He was efficient and cleaned up their work area completely. I liked to follow up paperwork and pictures via my email for my records.

Louis Garcia did an excellent job! He arrived on time and performed a full tune-up on my two AC units. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He finished the work in a timely manner and even gave me helpful advice along with reasonable quotes for a few recommended repairs. I would be happy to have Louis come back for our regular AC service.

I’m very impressed with Sunny Service. The service technician was great and very considerate. I had ordered air scrubber replacement cells for two units. Once the technician started to install the replacement cells, he informed me that one of the air scrubber was still working. He gave me the choice to leave the old air scrubber in or install the new one. I appreciate the honesty of the technician, because some companies would have not told me anything and install the new replacement cell.

Andrew inspected and replaced the pressure relief valve on my tankless hot water heater. He was very professional and thorough. I appreciated that he attempted to solve the problem without having to replace the valve, which would have saved me money, but it did not work. He is very personable and friendly. I will ask for Andrew in the future for all our plumbing needs.

The plumbing service that was provided by Chase and Ray was exceptional. Chase kept me informed of the progress and notified the city that there was also a leak on their city side of the meter. Thank you guys for your professionalism and a job well done.

With a new HVAC and water heater replacement order, I've seen several mistakes by overlooking certain details of the works. For water heater, I’ve paid for the disconnect specifically for it by city policy, but when I asked about it to the technicians during installation day, they told me I don’t need it. When I contacted an install management about it, a technician came out again to install it. Also, a salesman said I need an UV protective casing for the freon gas line next to my new heat pump outdoor, and again I asked a technician installing it and he said it’s fine without the case since the insulation covering the pipeline is UV protective; however, when a different technician arrive to fix my faulty board in my air handler (due to manufacturer’s fault), he said a metal UV protective casing is needed to be in place so he had to come out again another day to install it by my request.

Also, communication to the office was an issue all along. They told me later on that the company is going through merger between two companies and people handling my work going on vacation and everything, but before they explained it to me, I felt unanswered and not getting proper service. I was responsible to check everything was done right to get the appropriate work I paid for.

Lastly, I asked to a salesman for insulation replacement for the refrigerant line that’s going through my attic, since it’s really old and peeling away so I had to tape it in place couple years ago. The salesman said he will put in a work order to do so, and when the installers came and putting HVAC in place I asked the technicians if they can do it; However, he looked at the old insulation and said duct taped insulation would be just fine and didn’t replace it.

I gave 4/5 stars just because whenever I complained about my issues, technicians came out to fix my issues right away and the office understood my concerns.

We had to replace 2 AC units (2-ton and 3-ton, 2 furnaces, evaporator coils, heat exchanges, ductwork, etc. Knowing this was going to be big (and expensive) job, we ended up choosing Sunny Service through Home Depot.

Our sales rep Damien Douglas was outstanding. He educated us on all the essentials of our HVAC system and provided us with all of the pros and cons of either repairing or replacing each component. He presented us with numerous options and choices, ranging from lowest to highest cost, features and benefits of each, and available financing options and specials, all without any pressure to sell. In the end, we decided on a full replacement of our HVAC system for both upstairs and downstairs.

Within just a couple days, we had our installation scheduled. Our installer, Eloy Esparza, arrived with his crew on time, as scheduled. His team took the time to lay down covers to protect our floors and they meticulously installed our entire system in under 8 hours, end-to-end. They unboxed all of our purchased equipment to show that we were getting all brand new components (not used or refurbished) and cleaned everything up nice and tidy before leaving. They even walked us through how to use our new modern thermostats. Eloy and his team did a phenomenal job with the installation.

I would highly recommend Sunny Service for your HVAC replacement or repairs. It was worth every penny. Ask for Damien and Eloy. They were awesome!

Misael and his crew were working diligently until dark to complete the installation of my two HVAC systems. They seem knowledgeable when answered my questions and concerns. The heaters and the smart thermostats are working with no issue in this cold weather. Have not used the AC yet and might give update when they have to come back to fill up the freon to 100% as required when the temperature is increased.

Great job, very honest, great explanations on process, and just all around great experience. They even found problems with the city's plumbing system and took care of that notification. The whole crew wore big smiles, and I feel confident they did a superb job replacing all of our below floor plumbing all the way to the alley. You can't go wrong with Ray and his crew!!

Wow! We bought an HVAC system from Sunny Service and their help in picking a system, pricing, and installation were outstanding. We had some special concerns and considerations that we expressed to Sunny Service when getting an estimate. Our Comfort Specialist (Mike Ross) was extremely knowledgeable, listened to our concerns and questions, and provided a system that not only met our needs but was priced reasonably. The installation process was seamless, well managed, and efficient. Once we made our decision to use Sunny Service as our HVAC installer, which we did within a day of receiving two other estimates, our system was installed in less than a week. The purchase of the new system included duct cleaning. The team that came out to clean the ducts were very professional, paid attention to the details, thoroughly cleaned the ducts, no mess and cleaned up when they left. I can’t imagine how it could have gone better. The next day our new HVAC from Sunny Service was installed. The Installation crew was extremely professional and polite crew. They did an incredible job. We couldn’t be happier with our new HVAC system. The installation crew was amazing.

We are very pleased with the system that was installed. The 2 installers, Matt and Michael, are excellent and did a superb job. Also, the price that we received from Sunny through Costco was better than any proposal we received. Sunny's greatest opportunity to do better is on the administrative side of things: our first appointment was scheduled on a different day than we requested; the second appointment was canceled by Sunny due to unavailability of their representative; for the third appointment, we received an automated message that said the rep was on his way - a day early (we were told it was an error after we inquired); the installers were not completely informed of the scope of the work and had to leave to get parts; the new compressor was defective, had leaked out all of the Freon and couldn't be installed and a new compressor had to be obtained the following day; and the appointment that we made for Sunny to reinstall the attic door that was removed was canceled due to the employee not coming in (and no date for rescheduling has yet been offered). I wish that the sales rep had called us to apologize for the night we had to spend without AC due to the defective compressor vs. waiting for me to reach out to him.

All of that said, we now have an AC system that is working like we didn't think possible - it's truly fabulous. Sunny made it right with the compressor as well as the furnace (the exact model that we purchased was also not available), so I give them credit for that. Matt and Michael (the installers) are obviously very experienced and handled everything expertly, including the glitches that they ran into. Equipment failure happens, appointments get messed up and people don't show up to work - I understand. All of these things happening on one job - ours - was not what we anticipated. We are grateful for the new Lennox AC system, the price, and the Costco benefits. We received an additional year of maintenance coverage from Sunny Service for the trouble, and I appreciate that.

Update: the City inspector was very impressed with the quality of the system and the installation. He didn't find a single thing out of compliance, including some very minute measurements that he took. He was somewhat in awe of the old vs. new. Also, we received our Costco Digital Shop Card. However, no one has yet called us back re: the ladder door (which we have now replaced ourselves so as to not have a big hole in the ceiling through which hot air flows). I hope Sunny Services gets their administrative act together - their installation team rocks.

Brendon was extremely knowledgeable and worked tirelessly to figure out what was wrong with my heater. He was thorough, and always provided updates on what he was doing. He was honest, personable, and went above and beyond what was required of him. The level of care and customer service is hard to find these days. Brendon truly deserves recognition and a raise for his hard work! I would certainly be willing to recommend sunny service if all of the technicians are as helpful as Brendon. My heat is working again!

Michael Limon was punctual and after introducing himself, began servicing our hvac. Very impressed are we with him. Very professional and friendly and knowledgeable. He explained and even took pictures of how our unit is working. Our family highly recommends Sunny Services and Michael Limon.

The sunny service technicians are very friendly, professional, and go above and beyond they check everything thoroughly and clean the drain lines. Replace my filter check the heating or cooling whichever service it is that they are performing. They have helped me with my thermostat before when I didn’t know how to do something on it and checked my gas connections to make sure they were OK. Rinse off the outside unit I just feel very comfortable that by the time they leave everything is working the way it should which is a big relief. I will always use them for my service in the future.
