I spoke to receptionist on 3-29...she scheduled my appt for Friday 4-2 between 3-5...NO ONE SHOWED UP OR GAVE ME A CURIOSITY CALL FOR REASON...I CALLED AT 5:30 AND RECEIVED RECORDING THAT BUSINESS WAS CLOSED AT 5PM...... WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME AND EFFORT... I AM SO DISAPPOINTED THAT I WAS DISREGARDED.... WHAT HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE????

I tried this place out because of the good reviews. I called to make an appt. To come check out my A/C unit outside cause it's not working and I'm without A/C it's super hot! The dispatching lady tells me since they are busy today it'll be $127 I asked before hand is that the price to check it out??... She said no that is the price to fix it, so I'm thinking that's good not bad at all so that is the only reason I agree to have them come out and check my A/C out. So they come they check it out and tell me the compressor is bad and it'll be $3000 and since my unit is old might as well replace it which will be $5000, I tell them oh no that's way over my budget so I'm thinking in my head ok well bye. And then they bust out with, that'll be $127. I say what the lady said that price is for fixing the issue they say no that's to check it out and I said but I'm still without A/C so one of the gentlemen gets mad and says ok bye!! with an attitude and I say good bye. That's outrageous to pay that much just to come look at the issue and not do a single thing. I don't know if the lady got the info wrong or lied just to use their services and waste time but I would of never agreed in the first place if she would have told me its $127 to just come check out the issue. I wouldn't recommend, what bothered me was they had the nerve of actually trying to charge me that much for doing nothing!

John texted me to let me know he was on his way, Arrived on time. He was professional and courteous and did a good job. Would definitely recommend.

I came in to work on a Sunday afternoon, 105 degrees outside, and no a/c. Called Long Electric and they had their tech, Kevin, out here within an hour. 30 minutes later, A/C is repaired and blowing cold air. Great work!

I have been a customer of Long Electric and Air Conditioning for at least 20 years and I have always found them to be courteous, knowledgeable and quick to respond to my calls. I recommend them to anyone who asks "who is your electrician?"

Called Long Electric & voice mail says they are retiring. The voice mail transferred me to a recommended business, Airpro Air Conditioning & Heating. I was told Ernesto is my scheduled tech, who used to work for Mr. Long.

Never received any quotes at all after jobsite visit. We have 3 different projects we're juggling the order of and all require electric work. The technician seemed like he did not want to be there at all, and had an audibly stressed and seemingly condescending tone. Was told we'd have to upgrade entire system to handle even just one of the projects, with an initial STARTING cost of 6K-8K, and he was pretty adamant that was just the starting cost so I was already fully expecting it to be even more the way he was wording it. Had another electrician come out, not only do we NOT have to upgrade everything for just the one project (it can wait until we do the second much larger project), but was quoted about 30% the total cost. I would look elsewhere.

Great Technicians that gives good customer service along with servicing the units... all appointments are kept , customers are updated on Tech's arrival . Long Electric & Air is a great company I have been using them over 15 years.

Needed a meter base replaced due to a storm. Was willing to pay a premium to get it done. I figured 2500 would be high but I would go with it to get me tenant back in working order. Long sent an estimate for 3900 and said that it would have to be paid in full prior to the job being started. I have never heard of such nonsense. I ended up using BakerBrothers. Job was completed in one day at $1500. Less than half the price of Long Electric. The did not ask for a final payment until the job was passed via the city. Beware of LONG HEAT AND AIR. Go with BakerBrothers or anyone else. Update: I don’t know who made this review. I just found out. What I will say is that I’ve always seen you doing good so I changed my rating to 5 stars.

I have been doing business with Long Electric & Air Conditioning for well over 20 years. I have been with them that long because I know they will diagnose any issues properly and do the job right first time/every time. They have taken care of all my electrical, heating, and air conditioning issues over the years, and I would never think of calling anyone else. They are friendly, courteous, very knowledgeable, and I feel very fortunate to be able to call these folks anytime I need help.

Long electric and air conditioning came out the very next day after I called them. Upon arrival the technician was polite, informative and best of all on time. Keeping me from waiting all day at the house. The electrical issues were resolved in a quick, professional manner he even explained to me the reason for the breakdown. I recommend this company not only for the reasons I mentioned but more importantly, they didn't drain my wallet. Long electric and a/c are now on my speed dial because they earned my loyalty. Thank you for your assistance, I hope I never have another problem but if I do I know who I'll be calling.

I have done them business with Long Electric several times during the course of owning my home. I have always been absolutely delighted with all aspects of their service. The latest service was a ceiling fan installation, were the ceiling height is 20 foot tall.

Edit: I also hired Long’s Electric to install an upgraded electrical panel. The install was so clean and Tommy installed the equipment I wanted. Very happy with the service!

I would recommend Long Electric to my neighbors because they are professionals! I had a DI-Don’t fiasco on my hands and tried for days to get my ceiling fan replacement to work. Tommie came and fixed it within an hour! I explained what I was trying to accomplish and he made it happen. This company is local and established. I received text message confirmations, reminders, and notifications with Tommie’s visit so you know who is coming. Go with the safe, local and knowledgeable company! I am glad I called them!
