We built a patio extension and added a fireplace! Even in this heat I can't get my husband to come inside. Jason was extremely professional and responsive, kept us informed at all times and made sure we understood every aspect of the project. The contractors were also very respectful of our home as they built. We are so please with the job they did and look forward to many, many nights out back. The pictures don't do it justice!

Jason and his team did amazing job on our patio project. The crews were fantastic, friendly, and even took the time to explain thier jobs to my inquisitive 7 y/o. The communication was amazing throughout the job. We searched for months to find the right group and I am 100% satisfied and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to add some pizzazz to thier outdoor space

We had an excellent experience with Uplift Outdoor! Jason and his crew were fantastic from start to finish. They extended our patio and created a beautiful river rock walkway down both sides of our house, and the results exceeded our expectations. Not only does the backyard look amazing, but it’s also much more functional now. Jason was professional, attentive, and made sure everything was done right. The crew worked hard, paid attention to detail, and left everything clean when they finished. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and highly recommend Uplift Outdoors to anyone looking to improve their outdoor space!

Very Poor Customer Service!!!! I called to get an quote, and the call went to someone name "Ray". He started taking my information, and the call got cut off. So I called back, and this time someone name "Chris" answered. The first this he asked was "IS THIS AN EMERGENCY??? I AM WITH CLIENT" I called back because my call was dropped. This was a terrible attitude, and very rude. I guess he doesn't want my business.

Very disappointing!!!

Do not use this company!! We paid them in full and they did not finish the project!! It took them 9 months to do a construction job that takes a skilled pool company max 6-8 weeks. They did not communicate and had poor customer service the entire way.

I was blown away by the arrogance of the person who answered my query. The person said "we only entertain serious clients. We have More than 300 clients every year and if you are not serious, then its a waste of time". The guy further said "we are a 5 star contractor which means we are not cheap so if you are looking for a cheap deal then its not us who can help you". This was all answered to me because I asked about the average cost which they charged. I would never recommend them!

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. From the quote through the design process and construction, our patio project has had brilliant customer service. Every step of the process is open and transparent. Any questions or concerns were promptly resolved. Really happy with our patio.

I love my custom made pool. I am happy that I was referred to Sahara Construction for this because I had my doubts about starting the whole process and how long and how costly it would be but I am glad I just reached out to them for a quote because from then on they showed me how long and how much it would cost and to my surprise it wasn't as costly and as lengthy as I imagined. Thank you guys!

Great service and friendly staff. Chris, helped me in choosing the best type of tile for my new office as well as my new home project. They have a great selection to chose from. I will continue to come here now that I know better customer service staff is in charge.

Construction is ok, the layout was not not very good. They left one tile out and just filled it with grout. It took 2 years to make a warranty repair. Their pool service did not clean the pump filter until the pump burned up and they reworked the piping. The list goes on.

Chris and Letty will not return calls or emails. 6 months after completion of the job and having issues, no one has replied back even with weekly emails and phone calls.
I seen Chris one time during the process. After this company gets your money, good luck getting them to repair issues.
If you use them, make sure they didn’t lie and get HOA approval. This is a nightmare that they left me with. No permits or surveys.
I wouldn’t recommend this company.

Chris and his team really did a great job on our pool, hot tub and outdoor kitchen. Chris was very communicative throughout the process and made suggestions on things that would help us and not necessarily his pocketbook. I would highly recommend them if you are interested in building a pool or outdoor kitchen!

if I could give negative stars I would. I don't usually leave reviews but this experience has been disturbing so this is public service announcement. The owner Chris is highly unprofessional and decided that our pool could ONLY be customized to what he decided it should be. He did not ask what we wanted OR what we were looking for, instead drew up the design the pool he felt we should have. He inflated the quote by adding features we didn't want and when asked to remove the items because they made the project over budget, he resorted to telling us to go get a standard pool. The definition of custom is made to order so if I did not want 5 lights, a fire pit, a bench around the fire pit or a cool deck then they should be removed. Apparently our money isn't green enough or maybe there was too much melanin present. Additionally a GOOD business person with a quality product shouldn't feel the need to try to tear down the competition as part of their sales pitch.

Love my backyard now! We go out there every day now. It is so relaxing. They heard my concerns and got them fixed. Project is done, but they have come back out to make sure all the little things are done! They cleaned up after every project and my neighbors were even impressed. They replaced all my grass and fixed the sprinkler system as well. A lot of companies charge extra for that!!

Chris and the Sahara team delivered an amazing pool, pergola, and backyard. Chris took our vision and gave us some suggestions to make it even better. Our experience with Sahara Construction and Chris Harrell has been the worst pool building experience we have ever had. Of the 5 pools we have built, this is the smallest and one of the most expensive. We wanted a swim-spa that we could use for exercise and relaxing. The swim spa was dug on May 4th and completed in mid-September – 4 1/2 months to build a 20 x 10 swim spa seems ridiculous even during COVID. From recent reviews by others, their projects seem to have been completed in much less time. I assume that their projects were much more $$$ than ours. It seemed that our project just wasn’t a priority to Chris and Sahara.

From the beginning, we knew that the pergola would need to be resized and asked Chris several times for a revised contract and drawing. We never received any of the request revised documents. On average, we saw 1 work crew per week. We had to continually contact Chris to determine what was next and when to expect the work crew. There was always an excuse why the next task couldn’t be done until the next week. Once the site clean-up was completed in late-August, we started asking when our “pool school” would be. At the same time, we found that the gas line for the heater was not connected at the meter. We were told by Chris that we had to contact the gas company to have the gas meter upgraded. He said that we would have been told this during our “pool school”. Later, we were told that they don’t do the “pool school” until the gas is connected. So, when should we have been told about the gas meter? Since the swim spa had been working for 3+ weeks (less the heater), I figured out how to connect the automated system to our network and started playing with some of the features. I had reported several (6) issues / concerns numerous times and have not received any response except that all the issues will be resolved at the “pool school”. They were - 2 weeks later during the "pool school", except for the swim jets for exercise.

The swim jets don’t produce the flow for effective exercise. I can’t freestyle swim slow enough without swimming into the wall. As far as getting my heart rate up – forget it. I have been told by other pool builders that the piping and pump are undersized for an effective exercise spa. Too late now to fix that I guess. The other sales related item is the heater. We were sold that the heater would warm the swim spa up to 100F in a couple of hours. It will if the starting temperature is in the 85+F range. So now, this swim spa is nothing but a glorified spa-tub that will take several hours to heat up.

We had a pool company build a pool in our backyard, Sahara Construction was the pool builders subcontractor for all of the landscaping and all of the sprinkler system. One of the guys that works for Sahara we think cut a line to one of our fountains, when we contact Sahara they said that they would not even come out and take a look at the situation with out charging us a trip fee, even though they were not completely finished with the project and were having to come back out to our house a few more times. These guys are VERY unprofessional and will not take the time to make the client happy!

Chris came out and helped us design our pool. We gave him some general ideas of what we wanted and he came up with a great modern design that we went with. We worked with Junior during the construction and he got back with us when we had questions. Overall happy with the construction and the way things came out. I would definitely use them to build another pool in the future.

Excellent customer service, I didn't even know there was such thing as a smart pool that wouldn't pull a ton of energy. Wow!! The design unbelievable. The 2 designs we saw from other companies prior were like a child drew them out. And none of them even offered the awesome LED lights that saharah puts in the pool as a standard product not an upgrade. No way we would go with anyone else. They even cover our neighbors fence they would have to take out as well as re-sod cover any sprinklers damaged anything that might get broken during the process of the build. Other companies said we would have to contract out to cover those things. This company is phenomenal!
