Art was amazing when my AC stopped blowing cold. He was prompt and very reasonably priced! He took to the time explain to me what was wrong and answered any questions I had. I will definitely be using him again for routine maintenance and repairs!

Art did a great job getting back to us when we had an AC emergency. Explained everything thorougly and got the job done faster than we thought possible, even on a Sunday! I will definately keep being a return customer for AC maintenance.

I feel strongly compelled to share a review. Art was hands down honest, transparent, and quick arrive when he came to look at my HVAC. He even took the time to walk me through things and teach me on what to look for. As a young lady with no knowledge on HVAC, he really made sure I got knowledge on basic things and his pricing was definitely better than other companies I considered. He wasn't pushy and ultimately left it up to us to decide what we wanted to do based on his diagnosis. I saw right away why he has clients that have stuck with him for up to 20 years now. We have used Art for over ten years . He has taken care of several of our homes and rental properties. I recently had a contractor come to my home through my home warranty company to address an issue with my air-conditioning system. They told me that I had a leak in my evaporative coil and replacing that would basically involve me having to replace the outdoor equipment as well as the indoor equipment due to the fact of the compatibility Issue. Long story short, my home warranty would only cover the Evaporative coil and I would have to spend $5800 Out-of-pocket for the rest of the repair. I contacted Art to come over and give me his second opinion and he found no leak in my evaporative coil?!! It was an issue with my air filters that I was using causing stress on my unit. After he left , our AC in our bedroom has been working perfectly and no issues!! Saving us from spending close to $6000!! He also saved me from spending close to $1300 on my rental property regarding an exhaust fan in the powder room and another company telling me that I had to have ductwork redone along with a new expensive fan. He completed that repair for under $150! If you want someone that’s honest that you can trust and does a fantastic job and comes promptly to help you with your issues Even though He is the man you need to call!

I recently had Art replace the compressor, evaporator coil and furnace in my Katy home after 19 years. The new units are so quiet that unless under a vent feeling the cold air, You won't realize its on. Art takes pride in his work and will educate You on what and why xxx needs repair.

These guys were very responsive and did a great job. They don't normally come out to our area but made an exception which was very much appreciated. Our AC went out during the recent heat wave and we were in rough shape. Within a day they were at our house and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue.

They did not register my AC unit with Goodman within 60 days, now the warranty not valid for standard 5 years.

"We don't register equipment purchased by a third party." Even though they could spend a few minutes since they have all the information.

I recently had to replace my home AC system. The team at MrGoodguy did an excellent and professional job in removing and installing the new system. They were fast and the work is very professional. I have been running the new system for a few months and couldn't be more pleased.

It took three work days to schedule our service due to the extreme heat in our area resulting in heavy work loads for all A/C repair companies. Arrival was to be between 8:00 a.m. and noon. Albert and Chris arrived at 10:00, diagnosed the problems with the two units reported, and were done in one hour. I would definitely recommend using this company.

Our ac broke yesterday so I called our home owners warranty and they connected us with mr. Good guy. Today, a technician came out first thing in the morning, swapped out the capacitor and done! Quick fix and our ac is back in business! Great service and great experience!

My home warranty company scheduled the appointment. Never called and never showed up. I called them and the tech said they called but I missed my appointment. I told him they didn’t call me and the tech hung up on me. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

We were suggested this company from our home warranty when our AC went out. They came out to see us the same day we called them (a Thursday), which was much appreciated. Unfortunately, that is about where the "good guy" part stops. They did not do much of an inspection of the unit during that first visit, and only refilled our refrigerant, claiming that would be all it would need. Within two days, all that refrigerant had leaked out again, and we had to put in another call. As it was the weekend, however, no one would come out to see us. When the finally got back to us, it was late Monday. They did come back on Tuesday to figure out what the problem was (a leak!), but told us they could not fix the problem that day, because of the warranty. And although it was just midday, they did not submit the paperwork until Wednesday (why they were so extremely slow in submitting this, we have no idea and are not happy about at all). Our home warranty was very fast in approving the work once they finally got the request. But then no one at Mr. Goodguy would respond to phone calls, texts, or emails from us or our home warranty about getting back with us to set up an appointment. They should have set up an appointment with us before they left the follow-up appointment. The fact that they didn't, and then waited to submit paperwork, and then didn't respond to phone calls at all for an entire two days, was completely unacceptable. We have been without a working AC unit (in Houston's warm October) for a full six days. They did finally call us back and are scheduled to come out tomorrow (day 7). I hope they actually fix the problem this time. We're in a mid-October heat wave, so we aren't much cooler than summer. Our advice - use someone else!

Albert came out and cleared out our external drain pipe. He also looked and corrected the capacitor.

They were assigned to us from our home warranty company. Albert was very professional and took the time to explain the work and answer any questions.

Mr. Goodguy may seem to be a catchy name, but it goes beyond that! Albert is a great Technician and fits the name; Albert is a Goodguy and so is this A/C company!!!

Alberto IS a good guy like the company name, he is honest and professional and accurate/fast troubleshooter. He fixed our AC within 30 min and it’s up and running, thank you so much!!!!

Honest consult and quick repair. It’s difficult to find a company that doesn’t take advantage of your dilemma with a quote far exceeding the cost of what’s actually needed. They did a stand up job for me.
