Called them out as I was referred to them by a work colleague came out to my house within an hour and didn’t sit there and try to overcharge me like the other companies did. Simple repair took care of my issue and had me up and running within minutes. I would highly recommend them and would definitely call Mr.Goodguy for any future repairs.

Our home warranty sent out Mr.Goodguy to service our heater. They not only serviced my heater but cleaned and put back my reusable filters. They were extremely friendly and told me information about my system's age I didn't know. They said everything is working fine despite its age. They didn't try to sell me anything.

Albert came out and did a great job finding the problem. A leak in the evap coil. That was covered by warranty. He then gave us a fair deal to go ahead and replace our condensor unit which was from 2008. Run time for our ac was cut rom 20 hours a day to 10-12 hours per day in these over 100 degree days. Would recommend them and plan to continue to use them for my AC service and repairs.

After being scheduled through my home warranty company, I was given a 4 hour window. After 3 hours, the tech called to let me know that he would be arriving with 15 minutes left in this window. I spent my entire morning waiting for this company to arrive. Furthermore, when I tried to call the main office to check on the appointment, there was no answer on any of the lines. When my warranty expires, I will definitely be going with a more responsive company.

Our ac went out in the middle of triple digit heat. Our appointment through our home warranty company wasn't for 4 days. I called Mr. Goodguy and Alberto fit us in that day! He found the problem and had us up andrunning in under an hr. Very pleased and thankful for Albertos work and would recommend!

I first got connected to Mr Goodguy through my home warranty company for seasonal tune ups of my AC and heating. I have pretty old systems which other companies have tried to get me to replace and drop $$$$. But not Mr Good Guy! They are very practical, straight forward, mindful of customers budgets, and take the time to service my systems and educate me on some things I can do as a homeowner. They also recently installed a smart thermostat and took the time to show me all the features and were patient when I ran into some glitches with the app. They’ve never tried to sell me services or equipment I don’t need. They are patient and take time to answer my questions. I really appreciate them and continue to specifically request them thru my home warranty when I need service. The only thing is that they are a small business and there’s obviously a lot of demand for good hvac service in Houston so sometimes scheduling and getting a hold of someone is a challenge but they will respond and do their best to accommodate. I value their honest work and customer service. 5 stars!!

Albert did a great job. He checked the system issue and replaced the compressor start capacitor which solved the issue. He checked the system over before leaving and said there were visible problems. Fast and efficient.

Albert came and did a summer A/C summer maintenance and was thorough, informative and really took the time to educate on the inner workings of the unit. I will absolutely be calling on them moving forward.

Albert went above and beyond for us! Our home warranty company initially chose a different service contractor and they were going to charge us for things we did not need during a condenser replacement and they had horrible customer service as they didn't once return my calls. I called MrGoodguy because they had been to our house before and Albert was super helpful and continually responded and communicated with us during the process to switch service contractors. Once everything was approved, Albert quickly and efficiently took care of everything. I'll stick with them only from now on!

Excellent service on replacing the old ducts upstairs. Their price was very fair-about half what I was quoted by another company. The job manager even came by the next day to look over the work the crew did (on a holiday weekend) and made sure the install was done correctly.

I am so thankful for Albert! I’ve had him out on two occasions over the past five years. I called him yesterday explaining the situation with my AC system. I asked him if it would be better if I go through my home warranty or do some kind of an emergency repair through his company. It was in the 90s yesterday and I have small kids. I had to get the problem dealt with fast. He was honest and told me the cheapest and most efficient way to go about things. He scheduled me for the earliest open booking, and came out! He was here within 12 hours, and did everything as promised. I had no idea that my neighbors used him as well and until we all started talking.. It’s a small world. I am beyond thankful and will be calling him every time even after my home warranty is up.
