I’ve used AMS for several years for all my maintenance. They recently installed new AC system within 3 days of when my old system failed. They are always on time and there within a few hours if I have a problem. Great company! I have referred them to several of my neighbors who now use them for their ac and heating maintenance. Highly recommend!

AMS recently serviced two of my systems. Gene’s professionalism was superb. I collected four bids for the job and I felt each of the competitors were pushing for an unnecessary full unit replacement for an issue that could easily be serviced. Just in case, I also requested AMS’s price for the full replacement and they beat the replacement bids significantly. However, what I appreciate most is having someone I can trust to diagnose and solve the problem the correct way, and AMS delivers that. If I have any service or replacement needs in the future, I feel totally comfortable with AMS’s recommendations based on their genuine approach. I highly recommend to anyone.

Gene was out right away, and quickly diagnosed the issue with our A/C unit. We’ve used him for many years and know that we can trust his judgement. He does great work and he’s very professional.

I contacted AMS for a quote to replace my HVAC system as well as 2 other companies. Not only was Gene on time, he recommended 2 systems based on my requirements\needs instead of trying to sell the more advanced systems that I wasn't interested in. He was very honest and answered all my questions. After giving me the quotes, he contacted me to make sure I didn't have any questions, but it wasn't a sales call which I really appreciate. The quotes were very honest compared to the other companies. The install team did an excellent job installing the new unit and was very polite. Overall, AMS did an excellent job and I am thrilled to finally have an air conditioner company I can trust.

This is the second year I have used this company. Gene is very punctual and responds quickly to requests. He provides honest feedback on what does and doesn't have to be done, which I very much appreciate. Gene went above and beyond what I expected of him by crawling up in the attic and scraping away sealer to get the serial numbers of the evaporator units and check their warranty status, since mine are starting to fail. Unexpectedly they are still in warranty and Gene saved me a few $1000!

I had to have them back out after a recent repair and they did not charge me even though there was one minor issue, separate from the first repair, that needed to be addressed. Xavier was our tech and was patient with me (I'm curious about how things work). Highly recommend!

We were very pleased with the installation of our new HVAC system by AMS. They are friendly, courteous, and helpful. They worked efficiently and kept their area neat. We felt that the owner (Gene) gave us a good price and tried to make sure we got every rebate available. The three installers were professional and courteous. Gene and his team are fantastic. They did an amazing job to make sure I picked the right unit for our house. I had little to no knowledge on what kind of unit would be best. even when i considered a more expensive unit, Gene was so helpful for me to see that it might not be the best and that a cheaper unit would meet my needs. They were so professional when it came to installation. We could not be more pleased. ***PLUS... not long after the unit was installed, there was an issue with it not draining properly. They came right out the next morning (the issue started at night) and fixed the issue. They went above and beyond to make everything right. This is a company that is the definition of excellence!!!

I found AMS on Google and also found a link to their website. The website was very informative and it provided a lot of helpful information about replacing a HVAC system such as SEER rating and a link to the RUUD website. The owner (Gene) came out to my house to complete an estimate and he provided me with three proposals. The prices were very competitive (I had four other estimates done before) and also RUUD is a very good brand. I called AMS to schedule an installation date and they were able to come within a week. The technicians arrived at 7:30 am and were done by 3:00 pm. All of the employees were helpful, professional, and they answered all of my questions. I would recommend this company for HVAC system replacement.

I just recently used AMS A/C & Heating to do A/C inspections on a building I purchased. They gave me a report on each unit with any issues, needed repairs, and recommendations on replacements for those needed. Gene and his team are very responsive. From my initial contact with them, they kept me well informed of timelines, which they met. I would 100% recommend AMS for all your A/C needs as they're responsive, communicate, timely and most importantly do very good work!

Had a Flow Switch trip, turned out to be a clogged drain line, Xavier the technician was very efficient and professional; cleared, cleaned and adjusted the line. Offered some solid advice about regularly adding a cup or so of Bleach (Vinegar also works) to that line for routine maintenance.

Gene's team did a fantastic job on our install. We put in a high end unit and AMS had a very competitive price and did a first rate install. We love the unit so far. When determining what unit and ductwork to go with Gene talked through options and helped me determine what was right for the house. AMS gives a 3 year warranty on parts and labor which I did not find anywhere else among the multiple bids I received.

AMS replaced our entire HVAC system. After MUCH research and a few proposals we went with AMS. Their pricing, warranty options and installation options were VERY competitive compared to other companies. Their reputation in our neighborhood and around Katy is impeccable and they are well known. Gene came out and did not consume a half day like some others trying to show me how much I pay on my own light bill etc. to warrant the cost. He simply looked at the job answered my questions and the proposal was in my email later that day. To date they have been very responsive and the job only took one day. They started at 8a ended at 2p and we were back in business! I even bought their installers lunch! Highly recommended.

Gene recently installed a new ac and heating system for me. His installation team did a great job and those guys were really nice and respected my house. Gene was great to deal with and gave me an honest price. I bid it out with 5 different A/C companies and Gene was very competitive. They showed up on time and went the extra mile to make sure everything was done right. His guys even stayed late to finish up last-minute detail stuff. The new unit is cooling like a champ and everything looks professionally done. I highly recommend Gene and his crew.

UPDATE- A year later and my AC system is still running like a champ. They came out for the 1 year inspection and didn't find any issues. My electric bill has been cut in half from last year. I couldn't be happier.

Everyone here is just wonderful. I’ve had this group come look at our A/C twice. The first time, we had another provider tell us it was time to replace and the AMS technician bought us 3 more years of use with a simple fix. Now, we had our outside and upstairs unit replaced by AMS and I know we were truly taken care of by them. In the dead of summer our A/C went out completely and though we had to wait a couple days, they contacted other customers to try to move us up and also lent us a personal window unit to hold us over. Overall just very kind and honest staff.

Our older AC stopped blowing cold air. The first company to come out completely focused on selling us a new unit. We wanted another opinion, so we called AMS. Gene was super friendly, answered our questions, made recommendations, and didn't hard-sell us on expensive solutions. Gene fixed the immediate problem today, and when we replace this unit we will absolutely call AMS. Thank you for making me feel like a long-time valued customer on our very first service call.

When our AC stopped functioning entirely last week, AMS swooped in to our aid incredibly quickly! Despite notifying them late in the evening of our need to replace our entire system, they gave us a very quick response in the same evening and we were able to set up an early morning inspection.

While they had add-ons, none were forced on us and left for us to decide on several options without any hassle or stress. When we requested same day installation due to our situation and being in 90 degree heat, they were unable to do so but immediately offered an alternative solution by providing us with a temporary AC unit while we waited, and even moved up their schedule for our emergency needs.

Their prices were incredibly fair, and their service impeccable. When their technicians arrived on the property, they helped me understand the entirety of their process as well as setting everything up before they left.

I could not recommend AMS enough, and I am so glad that we chose to go with them over any other available company within our area. In the future I will only be going with them for future repairs and AC needs, because they are worth every penny.
