Gene and his team are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They installed new units in our house and were able to get the work done the next day once we made arrangements. Their prices were fair and we are very happy with the work they did. 100% would recommend them for any of your AC needs.

Gene did a great job replacing my a/c motor today. He evaluated the unit and found the problem was the motor very quickly.

Scheduling was simple easy and personable. Online portal system provides estimates on technician arrival and is easy to navigate and use. Stefan was prompt, on time, diligent, and most of all friendly and honest. Many companies see opportunities to up sell customers on add-ons or upgrades, this company was not the case. When you consider your customers first, you develop a better relationship and that is what Mr. Reliable Heat and Air does.

Very excited to have A/C again. Andy was very personable, friendly and answered all my questions. He didn't try to up-sell me, rather gave me options with no pressure in either direction. Most importantly, i paid a fair price for the repair and membership, unlike Abicuss who tried to charge me $1,330 for a capacitor at 2 am last night. Very pleased and grateful for a little bit of honestly and information on what to expect for future routine service visits. Thank you!

The name says it all, Mr. Reliable is dependable. They were very helpful during our time of need in the Houston summer. Pricing was very competitive. While we were waiting to get the unit installed Mr. Reliable set us up with a couple of window units for us to get by. They were lifesavers especially with our 6 month old baby at the time. I would definitely recommend Drew and his company.

I paid for 2 times maintenance per year , but they never tell me I have problem I have to taking care about it before the ac unit get damage , the took money to clean the pipes in the attic but he did for only one unit and I have paid for 2 units

Any way service not good , they ask for too much money to change part

Austin was very kind and knowledgeable. He did a thorough HVAC inspection which helped me make a decision on wether to repair or replace the unit.

First and foremost 1000 percent yes you should use this company. A little back story. I had quoted 5 companies for my first round of HVAC work. I had my ducts cleaned, mildew cleaned off AC unit; and UV light installed. I got 5 quotes, all ranging from $900-$4,000. So that sets the tone for how I experienced so much pricing range for the same work, and lets you know I will shop around and call many companies! Let me be clear MR. RELIABLE did not do that work. I didn’t know about the company then.

After my first round of HVAC work. I took noticed and started questioning the humidity in my home because I was having flooring issues. Sometimes you don’t know till you know. After I researched resolutions I was set on installing a whole home dehumidifier. All the companies I called threw these large amounts at me, at least they were all similar🤷🏽‍♀️. Some quoted over the phone. Some wanted to come out. When I called MR.RELIABLE, not only did I speak to the owner, Dru/Jru, but he was the ONLY company to ask why I wanted this expensive system installed and that perhaps we should explore other options that may be causing the humidity. The ONLY company that genuinely seemed to care about getting to the root of the problem. The ONLY company out of at least 7 that I called that gave two darns about a proper resolution. I appreciate his honesty. I appreciate his tech, Stefan, who showed up on time. I appreciate the effort of really trying to help me with a thorough evaluation and resolution that may fix my humidity problem. I was told that if my humidity didn’t resolve in the next two weeks from the adjustments made; then the next step would be a whole house dehumidifier and I will happily go back to MR. RELIABLE and use his company for that installation.

2 years ago my AC units (both) in my 2 story condo unit failed a couple of months apart, they were both about 15-20 years old. Mr Reliable installed both new units for fair price. Since then, they have come for regular maintenance every 6-12 months via a program i signed up for with them, checking if units are ready for seasonal changes.
About 2 months ago, we noticed that no cooling was coming in on our upstairs unit. It wasn't too noticeable at first because it had been cold here in Houston but it was starting to become noticeable as weather got warmer, especially when cooking. We called and a repair person came and did many things with both compressor and handler, and found the problem. There were stripped wires to.a.solenoid that governs refrigerant flow in compressor that he replaced, and which he said would fix the lack of cool air. Also said our thermostat needed to be replaced. I deferred that because i wanted to shop for one online when i heard the quote to buy one and get installed on the spot.
Unfortunately his fix didn't work. I didn't realize it at first but it became clear in a few days, again especially after cooking. He did say we needed a new thermostat so i thought maybe that was the problem. i got new one at Walmart.
Then i called Mr. Reliable again and this time Technician Adrian found the issue (misconnected wires on compressor solenoid) that wasn't allowing cooling. It wasn't the thermostat. Now AC works like a charm!
Best of all, no charge for the fix, since it was not fixed previously. I decided to install the new thermostat anyway even though old one was kind of ok because it may not be reading the room temp correctly (by a few degrees), and new one has lot of nifty new features. I paid for that installation, fair enough. I could have declined and lived with the old thermostat and not paid anything but decided to upgrade.
Ultimately, i am happy. The first tech did figure out what happened happened on the rooftop compressor - electrical wires to solenoid had stripped and shorted out and he replaced them, just got polarity wrong when he reconnected them, honest mistake. When second tech Adrian came he looked at many things in system and ultimately figured out the problem, simple as it was. Also explained everything to me very well, i understand a lot about the entire system that i didn't before.
Bottom line, Mr. Reliable stood by their work and because the initial fix didn't work, i wasn't charged for second visit, just for thermostat replacement which was fair price.
I felt taken care of, and highly recommend this company. And i don't post too often but as far as household service companies go i think they are one of the best I've had.

The technician, Edgar, was excellent. He and the owner helped me more than I could have holed for, and I am eternally grateful. They are friendly, fast, reliable, and really are experts at what they do. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for being so great.
