If you are looking for great customer service from the first call to them showing up they are the company to call! Tyler was patient, kind and educated me to the current issues and made suggestions on the future. Would highly recommend!

From the first phone contact, I was confident I was hearing truth. I appreciated information and education instead of a sales pitch. I was offered nothing as a ‘free bonus’, yet the final price was many thousands less. I recommend them highly to anyone who values prompt service, clean and careful work, and zero surprise ‘additional charges’ after the scope of work is agreed to and quoted. I have been pleasantly surprised by both how very quiet the unit runs, and that I am almost too cool with the thermostat set 6 degrees warmer than I ran the old unit. I highly recommend 1st Response without hesitation.

First response has been our AC company for many years and we will never change. They are dependable, honest, and kind. Every technician is trustworthy and great at what they do. Our entire family uses them and we all highly recommend them!

These folks are great. Our home is a fairly new home and we've had this air temp sensor failed on us twice in the last 12 months. Those sensors were replaced by another company but neither of their techs was as thorough as Tyler. Tyler was professional, answered the questions I thought of while he was here. He was thorough, checked everything, including checking with our HVAC manufacturer to ensure everything was set up correctly. He even found and fix issues that we weren't aware of. I also learned a few things from him about HVAC maintenance. Also, Morgan was informative and answered all my questions over the phone too. They are good people.

Prior to replacing an evaporator coil, they had been on several service calls to our home and we were always impressed with the courteousness and professionalism. When the A/C broke last summer, they had a full day and were already booked solid, BUT a tech still came out to load my system with freon (or whatever the technical term is) that evening, so my family could sleep in comfort. They were at our house the next morning to replace the evaporator coil, and we had cool air by the afternoon.
This company is top-notch! I trust they are giving me an honest recommendation; no over-selling here. They educate you when making their recommendations. When we go with a full system, we will definitely be using them. The last a/c company we used (NOT 1st Response) did not mention or perform a load calculation. Every heard of "load calculation"?? Me neither, but Tyler took his time to educate me on this. Be sure to talk about this if you are getting a full system.
They offer maintenance packages, which I highly recommend. We will be customers for life!!

Tyler performed repairs on exterior heat pump unit and completed six month tune up service very professional and informative. They always go above and beyond making sure everything is in top notch working order. I would highly recommend 1st Response A/C & Heating company.

After a less than positive experience from another a/c company. I was appreciative to be referred to this dealer via the Trane web site. This is my second time using 1st Response, first to fix the A/C, second time as part of the maintenance plan. Both times the techs were very nice and personable, and they really took the time to explain what the issues were and what options we had to fix them. Never felt pressured into any options, clearly explained things as fixes needed and then preventative options. Overall very pleased with the service provided!

1st Response AC & H was GREAT. They came by today our AC unit was not cooling our house down. The rep was informative and showed us what was wrong with our system. He also told us about the annual inspection service they offer that saved us money on today's visit. I will now be a repeat customer.

Tyler and Josh were top notch… Punctual, professional, experts in their trade, and SUPER low pressure about communicating recommendations for repairs… We found a few items that need ti be repaired, walked me through the priorities, and helped me strategize a plan for the repairs during their next visit.

The first time he was at our house, Tyler was the only company to respond to our desperate plea for help in over 100 degree days on end. A great HVAC company! Spencer was extremely knowledgeable and explained his findings as he went through maintenance and repairs, described what would be required vs. recommended, had transparent pricing, and was able to complete the repair in the first visit. I'll be using 1st Response for my yearly maintenance and repairs going forward. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

Just had a maintenance done on my A/C system by Spencer! Talk about great customer service from when I called Saturday to schedule a visit with Spencer being on call that day to Monday when Morgan called me first thing in the morning to get me on the calendar for the very same day! I truly wasn’t expecting to get helped until a week or so since it’s been so hot and I’m sure there are other client needs that take priority. Spencer also was able to show up earlier than anticipated and walked me through my whole system and showed me what they go through on the diagnostic. Even though this is by far my expertise I felt like a learned a little something. Turns out that I needed a little cleaning and a charge of refrigerant plus he recommended a few products to add to my system that I will be adding at a future time since the way he explained it made perfect sense. In addition, I signed up for the monthly maintenance plan that every homeowner should do to provide the much needed longevity of your A/C system in Texas! I’ve been using 1st response AC & Heating since i bought my house two years ago and have been happy with their service every time they have been out. I use their monthly subscription that is $15 a month that covers the summer AC tune up and a winter heat tune up , worth every penny. The service techs have always arrived within the appointment window and i even get call if they are going to show up near the back half of the service window to ensure it is still ok. Top notch customer service!

They replaced an AC unit with competitive pricing and a high quality install. Everything looks great and they paid attention to all of the small details. I also felt they were honest and professional. A few years later I called them back to replace my 2nd unit and they exceeded my expectations again! I just had one of my regular maintenance visits and the top notch service has continued. I've finally found an HVAC company I trust. I highly recommend them!

I received same day service which I really appreciated. Joshua diagnosed and fixed my problem quickly. He explained everything he did. I bought the maintenance package which is so reasonable and gives me peace of mind. (There was no pressure to buy anything.) Joshua spent the next three hours cleaning my unit and making sure everything checked out. They will notify me when it's time to do a check on my furnace in the fall. Can't say enough about the quality of service. The personnel in the office is friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend 1st Response!

Spencer from 1st Response was absolutely fantastic in his work. He was very much a person who engages with your questions and is happy to tell you everything he knows about your A/C system. Very nice and professional guy.

He even showed me a few tips and tricks of certain ways to be able to diagnose issues with the unit myself. The repairman from another company I had come out last year did no such thing for me.

I hadn't really decided on any particular HVAC repair company to do business with on my home before now, but I'm definitely going to keep Spencer and 1st Response at the top of the list!

As well, he used my backyard hose to clean off the outdoor unit and nicely coiled it up after he was done with it. And I guarantee you it's way nicer than how I had it coiled when he got there!

They do definitely have some extras you can buy for your system that, in my opinion, are a little much. But they might be better options for bigger families or people with asthma.

Tyler and his team are great. We have used them several times with issues ranging from a complete new system to routine maintenance. They are knowledgeable, professional, and all around good people. Their prices are fair and their work is good quality. Will continue to use them for all our heating and cooling needs, and recommend you do as well.
