We’ve had an absolutely amazing experience with Jason & the whole Best of Texas crew.

Our backyard was a mess, and we had specific things we wanted in a whole redo, but had trouble putting the pieces together ourselves. Best of Texas not only helped us put it all together, but they executed it so well. They did a little bit of everything for us: stone work, repaired our fence, irrigation, planted sod & trees- all of it great.

Every step of the way, they were prompt, responsive, and the quality of the work is just amazing. We really cannot recommend them more highly.

When searching for a landscape company to upgrade by backyard, I was looking for a company that had high reviews and mentioned the key staff by name. I provided their designer, Mark with my inspiration photos and an idea of what I was looking for and wanted the wow factor!

The owner, Braulio, has made working with his company a very enjoyable experience. You don’t always get that with irrigation companies these days. He is very hands on and oversees he’s projects with efficiency and care. We had an issue with one of the bubblers after his crew left and he came back within days and fixed it himself. The care and customer service is beyond a 5 star, in my book! He’s earned our repeat business!!

Eric and his team were absolute professionals. They explained everything throughly, and had different services that I’m interested in. We are definitely going to be a long term client. They were absolutely amazing. Extremely kind.

Brian is insanely hard working and professional. He turned our disaster of a dirt pit back yard into a space we cannot wait to show off to guests. We actually enjoy time outside now, and this is purely due to Brian’s approach and skills. Easy to communicate with, fair priced and beyond professional. If you want a landscape form heaven, it’s Brian you want doing it.

This was the first time I have used Grassworks. I was not at home while my grass, bushes, and flowerbeds were tended to but everything looked terrific. My grass was cut and edged, my bushes were trimmed and shaped, the flowerbeds were weeded, and the dead plants were removed. My yard looked so much better and I was very pleased.

We recently had Grass Works install an irrigation system and 6 pallets of sod at our house. They were extremely easy to work with and answered all our questions upfront. We couldn’t be more pleased with our new irrigation and the sod is amazing! Both crews were awesome! We have already recommended them to family and friends.

Grass Works did a great job of replacing my old lawn with new sod. The price was reasonable and the crew that did the installation was friendly, fast, and professional. I recommend Grass Works, they're great!

We used this company to repair two leaks on our irrigation system and unfortunately do not recommend. We agreed on an hourly rate and they charged us almost triple and refused to provide any pricing explanation.

Grass Works has always done a great job for us. And this time was no different! They cleared the overgrowth behind our lot and did a very professional job!

I am very happy with the service I've received from Grassworks so far. I had ordered a whole front lawn rebuild and on the day scheduled, a crew of 3 guys showed up and went right to work. It was a sweltering hot day and the job required lots of manual labor, but these guys powered through, and by mid-afternoon I had a beautiful new lawn planted. They did a great job and I highly recommend Grassworks for any lawn care needs.

The team did a fantastic job at clearing up the dead bamboo, weeds, etc from my backyard. They also did a fantastic job at building a small limestone rock patio in the far corner of my backyard. They came the day they said they would. From start to finish was a great experience. Would highly recommend.

Will never be using this company again. They will charge you if you cancel within 24hours but they came a day late with no communication and i even called them the day of asking. And they took 2 weeks to get me on the schedule just to show up when they wanted a day late.
The first time i used this company went well. Looked amazing, cleaned up everything super well. My latest experience, the guy came out to quote the work and i told him exactly what i needed. Said i dont care about the mowing, i can do that, but i need these sticker burs out of the back yards garden so the dogs dont bring them in and the leaves in the front either sucked up or mowed over because all the neighbors leaves channel into our yard.
I was sent a quote for general mowing, thought thats just what they considered it. Later i was told there was another link somewhere but i never could find it, and i dont understand why they quoted me on something i never even asked for.
They were at my house for 20 minutes tops it seemed like, was even checking my cameras to see the time they spent at my house. They blew all the leaves in the front yard into a pile and left it. Never touched the stickers that i specifically asked for in the garden. Some of the yard even looked untouched at all from their general mowing job. I called back and was told i was sent 2 quotes and they would resend the email so i could see. This time opening up the quote i was quoted $600 for yard cleanup. My yard is no were near big enough to ever cost that much nor was the amount of work i asked for.

Im upset i even called them at this point, and that they charged what they did for how terrible of a job they did, or lack of what they did. Feel like im being taken advantange of and they are not practicing good buisness. Not sure why they would quote me on things i never asked for and then quote so high for yard cleanup. But ive had enough at this point I will be finding other landscapers. As you can see in the pic i posted, this is how good they left my yard looking after they came by.....

I’m waiting on a response from the company and how they will address and will provide a full review once they get back with me after they address an issue with sod install.

Our family has used Grass Works Lawn Care for nearly 5 years at two homes in Cedar Park/Leander. We have been very happy with all of the services provided Grass Works Lawn Care. Their prices are reasonable for all services and we will continue to recommend them. The grass cutting team is prompt and through. We've also used them for clean-up after storms and landscaping projects including installation of sod and new shrubs and drought tolerant plants. Lawn care in Central Texas has been a challenge to say the least over the past few years, primarily due to weather and fungus/disease. But, despite these issues, Grass Works has maintained our landscaping and lawns very well. Truly, our yards are the envy our neighborhoods.

Highly satisfied! I have full maintenance package and they do it all. i do not have to remember when to fertilize, trim. shape bushes, leaf removal, , anything. They take care of it all and for a reasonable price. Their crews are respectful and friendly. They also created a stone and paver area. They have been accommodating when i have to arrange where my dogs will be. I have been with them for years. One time they forgot to do something I had ask, I called and they came back and took care of it. They are very dependable and very easy to work with and yard looks great.

Avoid this company! We hired them to do routine lawn cutting, and they were also supposed to do other items seasonally. They never did any of the seasonal items and often sent someone who didnt bother to cut the entire lawn and/or didnt edge. It was a huge waste of money and they are super expensive to boot.

When I told them I wanted to cancel, I got a bunch of nasty emails from Alicia arguing with me that I didnt call to cancel their service. I both called and emailed.

Oh, and they also think its perfectly fine to show up at various time to do the terrible job, including at 8pm on Wednesday night! I have professional landscapers for 40 years and I've NEVER had someone show up at night much less when its getting dark to do lawn maintenance.

Damaged our pool filter tubing with their equipment. After five days, they finally sent someone from the company to take a look.

Upon the representatives arrival, he was on the phone with someone else for a few minutes while I awkwardly waited for him to hang up. He didn’t introduce himself, ask any questions, or apologize for the incident. He barely spoke a word throughout the entire interaction.

They very quickly informed us that they were not responsible for the incident even after we provided proof that one of their employees caused the damages. We have cancelled their services to avoid any further damages to our belongings and to avoid their poor customer service

My current Grassworks Austin crew is spectacular. I could not say that last year. But these guys have really improved. The crew leader is an artist with a hedger. They really try to do a great job every time. .

HORRIBLE SERVICE EVER I HAD! If there was zero star option I could give them. They came and didn’t do their job nicely! When I check my backyard I said I am not satisfied with your service. It looks they did NOTHING! Some grasses still look didn’t mow. (I am attaching picture it is after they finished )And they left very dirty. They didn’t edge trim. I cleaned by myself too. They said they are gonna fix it.But didn’t inform me about EXTREMELY HIGH CHARGE! I never request any additional service from them . Just wanted regular agreement. After service when I check my bank account I saw they CHARGED MORE THAN 2 TIMES!!!. After that I called them and asked why like this ! Secretary didn’t listen to me and hanged up the phone on me! VERY RUDE and acceptable behavior!. I am super regret to use this AWFUL GRASS WORKS COMPANY!!
