Called and spoke with Max and he gave me hints to help me fix a connection problem. Next day he followed up to see if the problem was fixed. I didn’t expect that follow up. I could not fix the problem for a quote to repair arrived 10 minutes later. It was very fair and I approved. Next thing I know a text with appointment date came. Super professional so far…..it got better. Tech Brett came today, called with heads up, on time and not just fixed the problem, instructed how to repair ourselves if problem arises again. Super nice, super knowledgeable!
Two thumbs up for Gold Medal. I’ll use them again.

I have been with Gold Medal pools for a couple of years. They provide great service and are very Professional. Brooklyn is amazing and always does a very thorough job on maintaining my pool. Additionally, any issue that arise Brooklyn is able to resolve with relative ease. I would Highly recommend Gold Medal Pools and I am beyond happy to have Brooklyn Overseeing my pool maintenance.

From 5 Stars to 1 – What Happened?
We hired this company to build our pool 11 years ago and were initially very happy with the experience. They were professional, responsive, and took pride in their work. Fast forward to recent years, and unfortunately, everything has gone downhill.
They’ve expanded rapidly by acquiring other companies — and it shows. Long-time customers like us have been pushed aside. They’ve lost our gate key FOUR times over the years. Despite promising “concierge service,” we’ve received no replies from the concierge or even the CEO when we tried to reach out.
To make matters worse, we had our credit card stored on their client portal. After weeks of no response to a billing dispute, I finally removed my card info and filed a chargeback with my credit card company — unsuccessfully, since the company never engaged. It felt like they charged us for ghost service.
We’re not angry people — we’re just telling the truth. This company has gone from amazing to unacceptable.
Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
And if you still decide to work with them, please do NOT store your credit card on their portal .

My "Complaint" About Gold Medal Pools (You’ll Want to Read This) Hi,I’m writing what was supposed to be a complaint… but honestly, I can’t even fake being mad.
Here’s the story: After about 7 years of my pool being finished, I noticed a crack running clean across the sun shelf—literally from one side to the other. Worst-case scenario for any pool owner. My stomach dropped. I figured I was in for weeks of finger-pointing, warranty fine print, and maybe even radio silence.So I did it the old-school way: I called Gold Medal Pools and left a voicemail.They called me back the same day.The conversation lasted maybe 45 seconds:“Mr. Client ME :) , stay calm. We’ll have someone out tomorrow.
”I’ll be honest—I fully expected them to no-show or start the blame game (“Did you shock it too hard?” “Was the water chemistry off?” etc.). That’s what I’ve heard happens with a lot of builders.Nope.They showed up the next day. No excuses. No “it’s not our fault.” They just owned it.They assigned a project manager who kept me in the loop the entire time—photos, updates, timelines, everything.
The repair was done right, it looks perfect, and the pool is better than it was before.Most companies would have closed up shop and reopened under a new name after something like this (we’ve all seen it). Gold Medal Pools? Still here, still standing behind their work, still treating customers like family.
So here’s the bottom line:If you never have an issue with your Gold Medal pool—awesome.But if life happens and something does go wrong… these are the people you want in your corner.I asked every builder in the area for references. I obsessed over reviews. I lost sleep worrying I’d pick the wrong company. Picking Gold Medal Pools was hands-down the best decision we made for our backyard.Zero complaints. Just gratitude.

Recently built a pool/spa with Sandler Gold Medal Pools and had a great experience. Ridge and team were professional and responsive. Construction was completed ahead of schedule, and our minor punch items were completed within a reasonable amount of time. My kids love it and we’re happy with final product!

I so wanted to believe that they could handle my pool! And yes - they can maintain. If they - the main office could only communicate, respond to request, via email, text and or calling on the phone and waiting for hours that would be kudos. Their communication is subpar. I don’t have a huge pool, or excessive request, I just have normal request and or maintenance. Just starting out with this company , I felt comfortable, execution was great, follow through was not acceptable by any pool owner. I work from home, always have my gate unlocked when regular maintenance is scheduled.. technicians left without trying gate, stating no access, when from the get go, I’ve communicated I have unlocked gate, and am on location. With cameras everywhere, they would send technician back out, which is great.: but it’s not always in a customers best interest to HAVE TO WATCH for technician so that their animals can’t go outside. Then.. reaching out for an emergency ASAP call because pump is leaking to an excess, they only respond - your request is with a supervisor! No other response, so I’ve had to shut off all water / pump at pool in cold temps which isn’t a good things. Reached out to a supervisor via text, and was told.. your set for the next day as a priority.. sorry you didn’t get a response from the office.. in the interim.. I have to guess what’s going on. POINT BLANK!! Just communicate.

Just dont. Run. I’m not a “Karen” but boy did this company make me feel like one. I hired them for weekly pool cleaning and despite their efforts, the pool was always full of algea. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt thinking ok they just need to train their techs more, maybe they are new. Maybe it’s the weather. Maybe it’s because we swim too much. Maybe I need to help brush between cleanings. Nope…. This company just sucks. After numerous complaints and calling every other week to headquarters I have finally decided to part ways with them. I have watched on my outdoor cameras numerous times of their techs coming to the house and not brushing the pool, putting less than a pound of chlorine in a 45K gallon pool, not checking chemical levels, not emptying baskets. One time they even left my lid off my pump basket and almost burnt up my pump. There were at least 3 times that I caught on camera the tech showing up, sitting in the driveway, never exiting the vehicle, never going to the backyard, and driving away while simultaneously sending me a report of everything he cleaned that day. Is this Bluetooth cleaning cause I didn’t know that existed in 2024? If you don’t believe me, here’s some pictures of my pool that was “cleaned” every week by gold medal pools.

Our pool was left in terrible shape by our previous pool service but Gold Medal pools came and got us clean and running. Gabe is always on time and leaves our pool looking great! Highly recommend Gold Medal pools.

Gold Medal installed our custom pool and followed through on all items discussed and the timeline they set was spot on. Logan, our project manager, was a pleasure to work with and has excellent communication skills. He followed up quickly on all our questions and had crews show up when he promised. Overall, I give Gold Medal a two thumbs up for their quality and customer service!

We had thought about installing a swimming pool for many years and we finally decided to move forward last year. After considering multiple companies, we decided to go with Gold Medal Pools. A number of our neighbors used them and we loved the design that we were able to come up with together.

We ran into some challenges during the build including multiple project managers, material issues and labor shortages. About 5 months into our build process, we received a new project manager, Logan Barker. He turned things around immediately. We had a kickoff meeting to go over the current status and our frustrations. He followed up with frequent communication, listened to our concerns and worked to come up with a quick resolution.

Although the pool took much longer than it should have and we ran into many challenges, we are very happy with the final product. We would not be leaving this review if it wasn’t for the hard work that Logan put into righting the ship. If you decide to use Gold Medal Pool for your project, we highly recommend requesting Logan for your project manager.

We just finished building our third pool with Gold Medal. That should say it all. Mary was fantastic to create our new dream pool with. Keith managed the whole process quickly and efficiently, with fantastic communication throughout the entire process. Our pool was complete in just 7 weeks. We would highly recommend Gold Medal!

Not only am I and my team impressed with the quality and excellence that Gold Medal Pools delivers but we have also thoroughly enjoyed working with Logan Barker. Logan brings quality and excellence to all his projects. Logan is ready with any information needed to give clients the best experience possible. Logan is by far the best project manager we have worked with on any of our commercial accounts.

Our pool was installed and is serviced by Gold Medal Pools. Our pool turned green and we contacted Gold Medel to find out what is going on. Wrote an email on Sunday and called them on Monday. Matt, the supervisor said we have not been able to service the pool because: One week there were wasps, 2nd week the gate was locked. This is how we know how full of crap this explanation is. Last service was done on 7/7. I asked Matt, when the tech noticed the wasps, why didn't he just call us? Nothing. The gate was locked, we have two gates, one has been locked for the last 4 years the other is always open for the landscaper and Gold Medal for pool cleaning. Matt assures me that they will service the pool on Monday 7/21. Its now Thursday evening, nothing. Got a call from another manager Josh, he says they have not gone because of the wasps (which were removed when we spoke to Matt on Monday) His explanation says, Gold Medal should have called you and informed you about the wasps but the tech only knocked on your door. Why knock when we have Chime, we can take that from anywhere in the world and address the situation immediately. Its because it is a LIE!!!

I'm not sure if the owners have changed but the service level has just gotten terrible. The excuses are just blatant lies!!!

We paid for the full year and this is what we get.

Gold Medal built a wonderful pool & spa for us. They transformed our backyard from boring to beautiful. We enjoyed the whole experience, Mary was our salesperson, she’s creative in the design phase and had great suggestions to make what I wanted happen on paper. Our superintendent Cesar built exactly what we wanted & was prompt in handing our concerns and requests as we went through the building process. We have a large retaining wall in our backyard so the city required extra rebar to secure the pool. They adjusted accordingly & kept to the time lines they promised. We have enjoyed our family parties & summer days out by the pool. I highly recommend Gold Medal Pool for your project.

Highly recommend! We had an entire face-lift done on our pool including new tile, coping and complete replaster. They listened to what we wanted than executed the mission. Our project manager, Julie, did an impeccable job directing the various crews. We are so happy with our brand new pool!

Working with Josh and his team at Gold Medal Pools was an absolute pleasure. From the design process, to construction, and the final output, we couldn't be happier. Our experience was a nightmare, please save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. We used Gold Medal Pool to renovate our pool and replumb, the first issue they forgot to connect the sprinkler system we had pipes leaking underground and low pressure on multiple zones, 2nd issue was they left junks everywhere we asked them to remove but they never did (include old pipes, boxes, rocks …etc, 3rd issue the step they build come loose right after they finish, they promise to fix and never happen, the project finish 5 weeks ago, we used our old pumps ( they were working ) after new upgrade both pumps died in 2 weeks, literally the pool is green and it saddens me to see it every day, especially we are contracted with them.
And The worst thing is communication, no one updates or calls, literally, you feel stranded on your own with too many other issues to mention here

We had a fantastic experience with Gold Medal Pools from start to finish! The entire process was quick and easy, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Ridge was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout, always making sure everything went smoothly and keeping us informed every step of the way. The construction team did a great job as well. We're still amazed that the entire pool was completed in under 50 days! We love our new pool and would highly recommend Gold Medal Pools to anyone looking for quality work and a seamless experience!
