We had a late evening emergency with a plug melting in the wall of our home. We called White Electric and they sent Juan out very quickly. We are very happy with his service and customer service. I called White Electric to get a quote to move my service panel. The rep showed up at my home at the agreed time. After the rep inspected the site he showed me a laminated card (Looked like a restaurant menu) with a pre determined price for the work. He then let me know they would be invoicing me for his visit. I told him I hadn’t agreed to pay for the visit. 1) Three companies came to my home to provide quotes for this work. White Electric is the only firm that invoiced me for providing a quote. 2) Had I known there would be a fee to get an estimate, I would’ve never agreed to it. 3) Apparently a visit wasn’t needed - the rep just pointed to the menu price for service panel relocation and tried to upsell me into a whole home surge protector. As a side note - the electrician I eventually chose to do the work did it for less than half the price of White Electric, and did an excellent job (The city of Dallas electrical inspector was impressed). It is 6 months later and White Electric is still sending me emails about the unpaid invoice. I’ve called them twice and let them know I never agreed to the service charge and won’t be paying it.

We had a great experience with White Electric. They were patient with us while we assessed the scope of the project and were very knowledgeable. They were also flexible in terms of the quick turn around time for our project. I highly recommend them!

Contacted White Electric to repair conduit that had become disconnected from the meter box. James and Eric were at my home within an hour of me calling and the repair itself was completed in less than 45 minutes. Their response time and communication along the way is unmatched. Thanks James and Eric for an excellent job.

James with White Electric came out and installed a light kit for my ceiling fan. He did a great job and the light works great and looks good. He even had a part in his truck that was needed and not included in the kit.
I would recommend James to anyone needing home electric repairs, etc.

I never write reviews, but would like to leave one for White Electrical. We bought a house built in 1980 that seems to have all of the original wiring. We had to have the power shut off for a "minor" electrical repair, when our power company informed us that we couldn't have power back on until we got a main shutoff and the panel up to code. They recommended White electrical.

I called them and they were out next day and did what was needed to get our power back on.

We have since called them back to repair a dryer outlet that was taped up inside the wall and putting a charge into the washer water lines (I got a good shock trying to connect the water) and they are currently helping us get some other electrical work, including bringing us up to code for GFCI outlets.

As a first time homeowner, knowing that we have knowledgeable electricians ensuring our home is safe gives us peace of mind. The "contractor" who helped "fix" our house for the last owner messed up things all over the place and the tech from White is helping ensure it's all safe and working :)

Excellent company that treats their clients with respect and appreciation. I had called several electricians for a work-related issue at a commercial building my company manages. I contacted White Electric via their online contact form, Juan called me right away and Todd came out promptly to give a quote and assured me they could complete the work day of! It was completed correctly and efficiently.

I own a house built in the ‘50s. American Home Shield, that I pay for home repairs, sent out idiots. So, I searched on Nextdoor app and chose White due to good reviews. I am so happy that I did. James was wonderful and made me feel comfortable. He was quite knowledgeable especially about homes as old as mine. I asked a lot of questions, because I love learning and have so little knowledge of electrical systems. He actually patiently explained things so I could understand. We discussed many things that I need to have repaired. I still need him to repair other outlets as well as some other concerns. I will be contacting White in the near future for a few repairs. White will be my electrician from now on. The Shield is unqualified to make electrical repairs. I would like to have James be the technician for my house from now on. He’s already figured out how my house was wired, which wasn’t easy since no pattern was followed, wires are wrong colors, and wiring terminating at light fixtures are a mess. Anyway, thank you James and White Electrical for a good experience and great job!

They did a great job. Deana was a great help over the phone. Juan was very informative on the estimate and James and his helper did great job on the installation. I plan on having them do more work for me in the next few months.

Scheduled appointment fairly soon at my convenience. electricians were personable and kind as they explained my options and the costs for each. Together we decided course of action. Then they worked fast, did not disturb my things more than necessary, then vacuumed the work particles up from the floor . Great!

He assessed the situations we brought up, explained what was wrong, what he was going to do to resolve the issue, and fixed both issues! Very timely and even made our appointment early. I appreciate our electrician's honest opinion. We've been having issues with low power at our house when running large appliances. The electrician came out and discussed what he would need to do to determine the issue and how much those diagnostics would cost. We would have to pay for those diagnostics even if he determined the issue was outside of the house, which would be Oncor's responsibility. He suggested we first call Oncor. So, we had to pay $50 for his onsite visit, but it did turn out to be an Oncor issue. I appreciate his honesty and advice. I would use this company again.
