Drips..be gone! After we installed our new dishwasher, we ended up with leaks under the sink when turning the cold/hot water back on. Even though they were little leaks, fixing these can turn into BIG problems. So, we called Comfort Masters! They always save the day! They are always quick to the rescue! Angela is ALWAYS so helpful & friendly. And, scheduling is always quick and accommodating. Thank you Jordan & Juan. You did an awesome job putting in new valves/water lines. And, you did it with a smile. Oaklie said thanks for letting her come out & meet you! She loves to meet new people! We now are Drip Free & have "Smilitis"! I know you say..If it's HOT, call SCOTT!! Comfort masters has been our go to for HVAC and plumbing for over 13 years. Prompt, courteous and they do excellent work. Blake and Brad in the office are always so helpful any time we call, and all of the technicians including Isaiah are friendly and knowledgeable.

John was very professional as always. He checked and serviced our heating unit and confirmed that the unit was in good work condition with out any issues detected

Jordan and Juan were tasked with installing the disposal, dishwasher, and a supply line to my fridge. This required MULTIPLE steps including running the water supply discretely through several cabinets and a void cabinet corner. I’m not sure how they manage that, but all pieces of the kitchen plumbing puzzle are now working leak free! I’m excited not to be doing dishes in the bathroom anymore! I’m so grateful for the quality service I expect and receive from this company each time I need them! I couldn’t be more pleased or recommend them with more enthusiasm.

Tyler did a great job replacing the blower motor on my unit. He was very informative about the process and things that I can do to ensure that my heating and air conditioning unit stays running. He discussed the best type of filter to use to ensure proper filtration and proper airflow. I am extremely happy and grateful for this company and will definitely refer others to use Comfort Masters and will highly recommend Tyler as their technician.

Isaiah Awas very kind and helpful. He educated me on my outdoor faucet and also provided me information for my son that might be interested in a career in plumbing. Small town feel in a big city. We have had wonderful service provided from company for many, many years.

This plumbing company has been excellent to work with. From scheduling to completion, everything was handled professionally. The technician, Isaiah, was knowledgeable, polite, and took the time to explain what was going on. The repair was done quickly and correctly. It’s reassuring to have reliable service when plumbing issues come up, and it says a lot that my landlord uses them all the time. I’d absolutely recommend them.

Your technician Ron was very polite, thorough, professional, and provided all the information I needed to be comfortable with the installation of the emergency generator natural gas pressure regulator installed. When I later expressed concern about smelling natural gas too often, he immediately scheduled another visit to check it out and discovered a leak in a connector previously installed over 4 years ago. He returned to replace the connector, and at NO charge for the additional work. I am always very satisfied with all of Comfort Master's work at my residence.

Comfort Masters are my people. They have replaced water heaters, HVAC systems, fixed leaks, added new shower and sink fixtures, installed a toilet and double-checked installation of a dishwasher that someone else installed. Comfort Masters has saved our bacon more times than I can count, and today was no exception.

Our water heater was actively leaking and getting worse by the hour. Our home warranty company had assigned us to their only network provider in Lubbock, who couldn't come until Monday. Facing a worsening leak threatening our furnace and surrounding cabinetry on a Friday afternoon, I called Comfort Masters as a last resort.

Despite being fully booked, they fit us in. A technician called at 2:46 PM to say he was 7 minutes away. He arrived, immediately diagnosed the problem, went and picked up a new water heater, and had everything fully installed and heating water by 4:45 PM. On a Friday. When they were already booked solid.

This is not the first time Comfort Masters has come through for us when we needed them most. Time and time again they show up with a smile, friendly faces, and the kind of knowledgeable, professional service that is genuinely hard to find. Their technicians clearly know their craft and take pride in their work.

Alexis answered the call at Absolute with a kind professional manner and was willing to immediately arrange for service techs to come to my house. Absolute Refrigeration, A/C, and Heating is a wonderful company that saved us from the summer heat. Cayson, our technician, was so knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. He made the experience seamless. I would definitely recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

After a year of frustration and deferring to our attorney, I will outline our experience as a forewarning to anyone considering Absolute Refrigeration (AR). Fortunately for you, AR did not ask for a non-disclosure agreement as part of our settlement.

In the spring of 2023, we purchased a new AC for our home. The owner, Joe, was confident from the start–assuring, even emphasizing, that he was an ethical professional that would do the job right.

First issue: on the day of our install, the technicians went to our neighbor’s house across the street. Not knowing if he was also getting HVAC service, we watched as they disassembled his unit. Sensing there was an issue, we called Joe and learned that they were at the wrong house. Joe apologized and assured us that he would contact our neighbor to make it right because “That’s the kind of company we are.” We later learned that Joe never contacted him. Our neighbor was trying to figure out why his unit was suddenly having issues. We put him in contact with our attorney. Joe told us that if they damaged his unit, they would replace it. We’ll see.

Second issue: after our installation, we noticed weak performance. It is a 5-ton, seer 20 unit, the largest and most “futuristic” model they provide. There is no reason why this unit should not maintain our set temperature of 70 degrees. In fact, the temperature regularly rose to 76 degrees. Being a seer 20, it is also supposed to be efficient, but our bill tripled. Joe and his technicians came to our house multiple times to take a look. Each time, they were long winded to explain that this new and innovative unit “takes about a year to calibrate” before we will see any results. Their only option was to set the thermostat to “permanent hold.” We asked Joe to return the unit; we wanted out and asked him to come pick it up, but he never gave us a direct response.

Third issue: once we pressured Joe with legal action, he proposed installing a secondary unit for free. He came to discuss where he could position the unit and make sure we approved its placement outside. The issue was that he presented this new installation as a singular, second unit. But the technicians began cutting our walls to install a “mini-split” in two of our rooms. If you are not aware, these are wall units that you would typically find in a cheap motel room. They are an eyesore fixed to the inside wall. When we asked him about this, he said “I thought you would have googled it”; foolishly, we listened to him rather than self-educate with Google. This was entirely deceptive of Joe; he presented his solution as adding a singular, additional unit that would tap into our existing ductwork, but this was a cheap solution that also involved permanently closing off the ductwork to those two rooms, and cutting into our exterior brick wall and roof overhang.

This is when we deferred to our attorney. I had another HVAC company diagnose the issue and provide an estimate for the necessary changes to our ductwork and the pipe connections (I do not know the technical jargon). Interestingly, Joe criticized the previous work that had been done on our old unit and the ductwork in the attic. He noted that people didn’t know what they were doing, made short-term fixes, and that he was going to remove all of that and redo it the right way. He stated afterwards that he did, in fact, make these corrections. But as it turned out, he left everything as it was in the attic rather than securing connections properly. We also learned that the flue vent in our attic was improperly installed and failed fire code regulations.

To Joe’s credit, he did agree to provide our attorney with the quoted cost of repair–which is an admission of guilt.

In short, Joe cannot be trusted. He is not the ethical professional he presents himself to be. If you have experienced performance issues with a unit they have installed, contact a third party to diagnose then an attorney.

Absolute Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration did an Awesome job! Not only did they install the first day they came out, but they finished the job too! Isaiah, Jaime, and Sam were very professional and were knowledgeable when it came to our questions! You can tell they value their work! We definitely will be using them from now on and going to tell others about this company and team! Outstanding work fellas!
