Once again Backslee came through for me. My ac went out late last night (Friday), so I placed a call to them this morning. They returned my call within about 45 minutes and came in about an hour. As always they were professional and thorough. The price was more than reasonable. I have used this company for a couple of decades or more, and they have always been prompt, professional, and fair in pricing. I would HIGHLY recommend them!

Simply the best. BacksLee Team has worked with us on several items: new AC, heating system repair, minor trouble shooting of the heating system. This team is amazing - professional, on time, very courteous. Very reasonably priced - you get real value for your buck: outstanding service and excellent product (we love our new AC that’s now a couple of years old - smooth running machine!)

Backslee Air Conditioning is a great company. The people are absolutely amazing. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I have used this company several times for various AC/ heat problems and every time they come out they fix the problem. Prior to finding them I had used several other companies and half of the time they wouldn’t know what was wrong or how to fix it. I will never use another company. I 10/10 recommend Backslee!

Backslee Air Conditioning came the very next morning after my call. They were giving me a personal review to contest 2 bad home warranty service calls. The other 2 companies sent by First American Home Warranty had quoted between $3,200 and $3,600 to replace unit that was not repairable according to them. I called Backslee for an independent review and Kerry replaced a capacitor and repaired some wiring. The unit fired right up. My bill was $216. This is an honest company run by honest people. My son also had a similar experience where Backslee fixed an issue for around $200 that 2 other companies said would cost thousands. We will continue to use them in the future. Like I said, these are good ethical people offering the best options possible where others choose to rip you off. If they told me I needed a replacement I would trust them. Backslee just completed changing out my 5 ton evaporator coil in the attic. Great job. Very professional installation......heads up call, on time, efficient, neat, and fast plus very price competitive. You'll get the same family techs on each call out. I highly recommend them.

We have used Backslee A/C a few times now. They are always friendly and professional from the first call to the service done. They always return your call in a timely manner if you have to leave a message.
The service techs never try to sell you anything you don't need and never overcharge for services done. They always show up on time too!

I’ve been using Backslee air for the last 5-6 years. I’ve had two houses and have gone through many different a/c companies. They’ve all left me feeling like I was taken advantage of. Backslee has been the ONLY company that I have felt was honest with me and not trying to take advantage of the customer. They’re always prompt to schedule an appointment, they call you back if you leave a message and they do quality work at reasonable prices. I give them the highest possible recommendation to anyone I come into contact with. We live in Houston. Your ac is going to have issues. When you need help, these people are there to actually help fix the problem, not just take your money. Nicest people I’ve come across by far.

There is absolutely nothing that I do not like about this company! For many many years my parents used Backslee for their AC repairing needs. It is a family owned and operated company and they know their business! The prices are extremely competitive and these are the most honest hard-working guys out there. The people are so nice and experienced. Joshua has worked on my central heat and a/c 2 times with 2 different problems. I am so happy with his knowledge and his workmanship and his pleasantrie and neatness. Connie in the office is also knowledgeable and very pleasant. And they are VERY FAIR with their pricing. After having a not so good experience with another company I am fortunate to have found such a good company in Backslee Air.

Backslee AC made a service call very quickly. Office personnel were friendly and pleasant to work with including going the extra mile to file a warranty claim for me. Ethan came out to repair our AC system and was an outstanding young man. I enjoyed meeting him and he did an excellent job. Backslee AC people are the friendliest, kindest and helpful business I have ever used. I started using them when I bought my condo in April Sound, since they installed the unit by the seller. Now I use them for my Houston home as well and have referred them to others. They are quick to respond and if you have an emergency, they will try their hardest to work you into their schedule. It is comforting to me that Backslee is just a phone call away. They are my AC experts.

Amazing. Joshua was on time and did a softstart installation so seamlessly. Like he did thousands of times. Very pro installation. Also discovered another issue with another component that few other companies didn't see. AC was vibrating for 4 years and now fixed. All included within a service fee. Very honest and legit company that can be trusted. Their customer service is also quick and responsive.

Backslee replaced two of my air conditioners today. The installers were very professional. They protected my hardwood floors any were courteous when asking questions any explaining their process. Definitely recommend Backslee A/C any their subcontractors!

We contacted Backslee Air Conditioning a few months ago for a routine HVAC system checkup. Our air conditioning system is fairly new and had never experienced any issues prior to their visit.

After their technician completed the routine inspection, we began experiencing a refrigerant (Freon) leak a few weeks later—an issue that had never occurred before. We contacted Backslee Air Conditioning again, and they returned to “fix” the problem.

Unfortunately, only a few weeks after that repair, the exact same issue occurred again. This raises serious concerns about the quality of their work and whether the original visit or subsequent repair caused damage to our system, either accidentally or due to negligence.

A routine checkup on a new system should not result in repeated refrigerant leaks. We are now left with ongoing AC issues, additional stress, and potential repair costs for a system that previously functioned perfectly.

Based on the timeline and repeated failures following their service, we believe Backslee Air Conditioning either improperly serviced or mishandled our system. We no longer trust the integrity of their work and are concerned that unnecessary or faulty repairs were performed.

Excellent service. The plumber, Ross, was polite, explained what he was doing at each stage and explained the cost, so there were no surprises. He diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly, and tested the fix throughly afterwards. Highly recommended.

We would like to recognize Jason Purvis for his outstanding knowledge and service skills today. What we considered a simple installation turned into a very difficult task and he never hesitated or tried to give up. He is amazing and we would highly recommend him. If we ever need a GREAT plumber again we will absolutely request he be sent.

Abel did a great job of helping us with an LED upgrade to a florescent bulb light fixture. He was clear on what our options were, gave a reasonable price, and executed the work in a timely fashion. He was both competent and curtious, he represented Bradbury Brothers well.
