Hales Chimney was incredibly quick to respond back to my fireplace repair request. Sherry was kind and informative when I asked what services Hales provides with their visits. Clint arrived on time, serviced our fireplace, did a diagnosis and went above and beyond to repair the multiple issues our Heatilator fireplace had. He gave me advice on how to manage our fireplace during and after the winter season. I’m really grateful for this team because we had a running fireplace the day before the snowstorm.

I called Hales to service my fireplace since it would not turn on. I felt the fireplace logs and interior needed to be cleaned in addition to getting the fireplace to light. Clint and Kenny came out and quickly diagnosed the problem, checked the chimney and cap and then proceeded to clean and repair the fireplace. It is working as it should now. Clay did a great job and Hale’s is easily worth the peace of mind. Do not bargain hunt, just hire Hales’s! From the first call they just knew what they were doing. I called other companies and each of them gave me big clues that I would not get what I was looking for.

Hale’s Chimney lives up to its reputation. Clay and Ty arrived on time, worked efficiently and handled everything with professionalism and courtesy. They brought an aging gas insert back to (almost) its former glory, and the improvement is remarkable. Highly recommended.

After a failed inspection back in early 2024, our fireplace had sat dormant, knowing we were looking at some pretty expensive/major renovations. Finally, we pulled the trigger on the repairs and had Clint at Hales back out to take a fresh look and new inspection before moving forward. Thrilled to report we can finally use our fireplace again before the end of this Winter season. Clay and Luis repaired the firebox masonry, smoke chamber parging, lintel repair, flashing, waterproofing and topped it off by converting us from wood burning to a radiant log gas set-up which is absolutely stunning. I’m truly shocked at the amount of heat these radiant logs put out. We had to wait several weeks to get the necessary repairs made because they are so swamped this time of year, but the wait was absolutely worth it. Thank you Hales. You have a customer for life.

Our chimney was leaning. We got 3 estimates. The first was Hale’s, gulp the price! But Clint showed us the problems and offered a solution to fix it. Second guy; No Problem! All chimneys lean. We just need some tuckpointing, new fireplace cap and sealing. Yes, this was cheaper, however did not fix our problem, chimney leaning and causing interior damage structurally (before falling into our family room through the roof). Third guy, what cracks? Show me the cracks…oh this is a foundation issue! NOT; it was inspected less than 6 months ago. So invest in your home when repairs are required. Always get other estimates so you are an informed consumer and go with professionals who are certified. Did I mention Clint is?!?

Great company! We had Clint come out to fix our pilot light/igniter but he quickly realized we just needed a deep clean and got everything cleaned and working quickly (and even better than before)! We will use them again to resurface our fireplace in the near future!

Couldn't service a tankless hot water heater.

The name of their business is literally tank and TANKLESS water heaters. Called. Before we could even explain our issue they cut in to say they do not service tankless water heaters. Very bizarre.
