Hardin Heat & Air was wonderful to work with for my scheduled maintenance! Ulisis and Terry were the technicians who came out, and they were both extremely friendly, respectful, and professional. They kept me well informed during the whole process and made sure I understood what was going on every step of the way. They also cleaned up after themselves, which I really appreciated. Great service all around, and I highly recommend Hardin Heat & Air! Wendy and Saronda (may be spelling that wrong) are always super friendly when I call.

Barrett was my service guy and he was great! Kept me updated on arrival time. Inspected and went straight to the problem and fixed it. He was a very hard worker and seemed very honest.

I gave Summit AC a call on a Saturday, Barrett answered right away and was at my house within the hour. Which NEVER is the case with any other AC repairman, especially on Saturdays. Once he got to my house he went straight to diagnosing our issues and began the fix. Which was a mess that was left by previous AC repairman. He got it all fixed up and properly installed the way it should have been from the beginning.

I can tell you this….. Summit just became my #1 go to AC company that I will tell everyone to use. Super insightful, knowledgeable and able to correctly fix and identify issues. Can’t say enough good about our experience.

We loved Summit Air Conditioning and Barrett! We had many problems within a few days. He always came so promptly and told us he was committed to finding specifically what it was before we were charged. He said, “We don’t just want to create a bandaid, but something that will keep you running for years.” I would recommend them to anyone!! Trustworthy. Outstanding service and immediate response too. They work within your budget, don’t sell cheaply made equipment, upsell unnecessarily, and their warranty is best in the industry. I highly recommend them.

Had a full unit replaced last year. That unit has saved me money and now the house is always just the right temp.

Update: 2 years later in these record heat waves our new upstairs unit that Summit replaced is still impressive. I’m probably the only house in DFW that has a colder upstairs than downstairs. When it was 101 degrees outside today, I went upstairs to cool off after my walk. 😀 Our old unit downstairs is probably 20 years old

Barrett was a life-saver on one of the hottest days of the year. He melted frozen ice in my AC coil, and added more refrigerant in my air conditioning to bring it to life. Without Barrett and Summit AC and Heat, life would have been miserable for us. Thank you!!

This is a fantastic business. HVAC work is expensive, and for whatever reason the industry seems to have less integrity than others - overcharging, dishonesty, etc. I've worked with several companies in the past, but I've found who I'll stick with from now on. Summit replaced some HVAC equipment for me last year, and then promptly came out to fix an issue this past week. They made a warranty claim, and didn't charge me anything though a service fee or something would be reasonable. You can tell they're a company with solid ethics. I can't recommend them enough

I recommend not using this company. I called them to replace the Thermostac and they began to identify problems that I had never had before with the air conditioning system. THE UNITS WERE WORKING VERY WELL.
They said that the coil was leaking very badly and that I had to replace it. From that moment on, the problems began, then they said that the outside unit was working poorly. We changed it and the problems continued. New Coil and new compressor and they still didn't make it work. It was lie after lie.
They said everything had a guarantee and they never answered my calls again. These people created problems that did not exist and they disappeared. They made me spend a lot of money that I had reserved for my kids.

I had to call another company to resolve the problem.

The blower motor in my air handler went out. Summit was awesome and came out same day I called them. Gave me a great quote and had a great deal for a veteran. The install was a very quick turn around and they did an awesome job, also they fixed an issue that existed since the house was built. Would highly recommend.

This is the second time to do business with this company and I can’t praise them enough.

The first time was summer of 2022. Our a/c was not producing cold air. I called several Other companies and no one was available. This company came on a Sunday, arrived within 30 minutes and repaired the problem. I was told at that time there was a leak of coolant and I chose not to replace the “coil ” at that time.

The second one was to replace that very coil. The response time was great, the coil was under manufacture warranty. The cost was less than I thought it would be. It’s possible that last summer the turnaround time to receive it from the manufacturer would have been much longer than the week it took in March 2023.

These are professional and very nice people.

This year (2025) they patiently rescheduled us several times due to water accumulation from rain, rain, rain. ☔️

Summit was highly recommended and did not fail. They were honest, fair priced and trustworthy. Barrett and Logan were very professional; respected me and my property. They are my go-to company in the future as their work ethic is second to none.

He was professional got right to the job and was done in no time all items were clear and we are now ready for the winter!
