Tough Paw was sent by my home warranty company, after another company tried to charge me for covered services and repair. They were honest and quick to fix my problem. They even updated my system without extra charge.

TuffPawLLC was sent out by First American. Home warranty . Their 2 techs were very professional and pinpointed the problem and fixed it , and went around to check out the entire house for cooling . One of the best experiences I have had from HVAC company

All five with whom I had any contact were professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and (saving me thousands maintaining 20+ year old unit and urging me to keep it as long as possible) proved beyond question they have the client’s interests ahead of theirs. Moreover, they worked to accelerate the schedule and slotted me in well before I expected. Finally, they coordinated promptly with other independent contractors essential to meeting my needs to complete the job ahead of our expectations. I couldn’t be more pleased and have already alerted friends that this company is the only one they should call for HVAC work.

Did a great job taking care of our AC problem. Had to get new one installed. Got me on the schedule quickly and install was done without issue. Great job.

My AC went out on the hottest day of the summer, so it started to heat up pretty quick. They were able to get a tech to me within the same day. He found out what the issue was and quickly provide me with next sets/prices. My AC was fixed within a timely manner. The customer service was amazing.
I would highly recommend this company. They made the process so easy, everyone I spoke to was very friendly, and my dogs loved the technician.

By far the best Air Conditioning company that I have ever used. The tech was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what the issue was and why. No sales tactics or gimmicks just straightforward.

If I could give no stars I would. I had Abdul as my technician for my AC unit. I told him it cools off but then the unit stops and it gets hot inside to about 80 degrees. Abdul had me turn it and and proceeded to walk around to see the air temp which he stated is about 68 to 69 degrees. He then went to the carrier unit and said it was a clog drain line. I then took his word and paid him 93.15. He then went outside sat in his truck a few minutes to send the information to my warranty company select. I then heard a knock at the door and it was Abdul stating it’s a bad condenser fan motor because he heard it make noise. Abdul submitted that to select but select stated it’s from lack of maintenance from a clog drain line. I then had a fallen out with select so I had to pay a cancellation fee of 75 dollars, paid my 45 dollar monthly fee and Abdul 93.15. I then called Grace air and heating and they came out checked the drain line and stated it was not clogged and whoever told me that didn’t know what they were doing. Grace air and heating then went outside and replaced my condenser fan motor and my AC has been nice and cool at 70 degrees with no noise. I then called TuffPaw air and I was told they would reimburse me due to Abdul giving select the incorrect diagnosis. I called back today and all I get is voice mail. I do not recommend this company to anyone!!!

Samuel and his team have been to my house a few times under home warranty and have always been very professional. When the time came for work outside of home warranty I called them. They were on time, honest and fair with pricing. I recommended them to my neighbor as well who will be needing a new AC system. I don’t do that unless I trust a company. If you’re needing a good HVAC contractor, consider TuffPaw.

TuffPawAir - kept me sain. I was working with a home shield type insurance that covers everything home appliance related - ovens, ac, washer dryer etc.. We had no central air for almost 2weeks waiting on a part(coil). Thankfully TuffPawAir diagnosed the issues correctly on the first call!! They were very truthful, kind and quick - great service men! If needed, I will use TuffPawAir again.

If I could give this company a 0 star, I would. Do your research before calling this company for service. This company provides very unprofessional service and stinks across the board. Stay away from this one.......
They just want you money

I had to call other company and they just replace the TXV

I had TuffPaw Air come out via my home warranty claim and the issue was that my unit's compressor had a mechanical failure, however the technician stated that the compressor caused an short circuit which was false. Later the technician said he's not an electrician and cannot provide a diagnosis on electrical issue but the diagnostic report stated the compressor failed due to electric issues. This caused my home warranty to deny my claim due to the issue being electrical and not mechanical. They were very nice and polite on the phone but their technicians need more training. Having their technician state the issue was electrical and then a few days later state he cannot diagnosis electrical issues because he's not an electrician is ridiculous. I even had the supervisor read that technician's report and state that it was wrong because they're not electricians. I had a second opinion and that 2nd a/c technician said that it was mechanical issues and the new technician was not sure why this company put it as an electrical issue.

Wonderful service. Patrick was very professional and punctual and was able to fix the issue with my unit quickly during the heat. I will definitely be using them again if my hvac needs work.

We got air conditioner service scheduled within a day. Plus, Trace was prompt and efficient. Problem solved, and ready for the Texas summer.
