Was assigned this company by American Home Shield for HVAC tuneup. HVAC tune ups are supposed to take 1 to 2 hours and he was here for 25 minutes. Did not use professional language and asked to use the bathroom which is a no-no in the service industry. I'm not sure what was checked as no list or paperwork was provided... just that there weren't any issues found. Just overall didn't feel like I received the service that I paid for through AHS.

SERVICE guy, Charles was prompt, polite and expeditious. He appeared to do a thorough job and give me a great report regarding my air-conditioning unit. Thanks Brown Air Conditioning and Heating.

Charles and his crew were awesome! Our garage apartment A/C was not cooling. He came out and checked it yesterday. Evaporator coil needed to be replaced. His crew showed up this morning at 10:40a and worked straight through to 1:00p. He gave me some tips on keeping things ship shape.

Brown AC / Heating always delivers a fair assessment and tries their very best to get all repairs done same day or next if a part is needed. We have been customers of Brown AC/Heating for over 6 years now with multiple homes. The latest service call was for our home on Galveston Island that our management company sent a tech to look at the heater. The tech that was originally sent out by the the mgnt company sent an "estimate" of 750 + tax - implying that it would be more to us once they were actually in there.

We called Brown AC/Heating on our own knowing the trust we have in them. Brown came out did an inspection and named one item out of the several on the other persons explanation. The total cost for service, part and install was under $300.

It is worth waiting for the right provider!

After hearing about Brown A/C service from my coworker, I decided to give them a call to check out duct work at my Father's residence. So glad I did. The technician. Chris came out and diagnosed the problem first, gave us a quote, and was right back the following day to repair. He made my Father feel very comfortable, which is not easy to accomplish. Rep came out when promised. However, the wife was told something about a sensor and different thermostat from Rep but haven't heard or seen a detailed account of visit. I have no idea what was checked, only that no issues were found. I understand this is a free service offered through the warranty company but I was expecting something more thorough and complete from an inspection.

Brown air conditioning responded to our AHS service request in a prompt manner. Chris showed up at our home at the given time slot, figured out the problem and completed work quickly and professionally. Very impressed with Chris and with the overall service experience.

Brown Air Conditioning and heating responded to my call the next business day and sent a repairman out the next day after that. Chris is pleasant and thorough. He found the problem and ordered a piece of replacement equipment. But returned later that day after thinking of a better and faster repair he could do by replacing the old thermostat. He could have charged to replace both pieces and I would not have known better. He showed true integrity and represented his business well. He also suggested some maintenance that I could do to help the unit work better (change filters more frequently) and explained why it would help the machine. I appreciate honest and capable people.

My experience was not okay. the technician claimed I had rat damage and never had such damage. Now they want to charge me 1900 for a drip pan but haven’t diagnosed the problem. How do you have a solution but don’t kno what the problem is. I attempted to put no stars but the review won’t let me.

The technician, Matt, came to my house the following day after scheduling an appt and was quick to diagnose the problem and order the parts. Throughout the process, Matt was extremely professional and maintained an open line of communication. When the parts came in, he scheduled the service appt immediately and his team made the repairs and got my ac up and running in a few hours. I highly recommend Brown AC & Heating.

I had been without a/c in my home for 13 days. Had to spend 6 nights in hotel because I was feeling sick other nights with friends. Chris was very kind and polite explaining the situation with my unit, communicating with warrenty Co and ordering parts. He scheduled with me to come and stayed over four hours and completed the job. This company tried to fabricate more work by damaging the equipment in the attic, causing it to damage the ceiling. I tried communicating with them several times, but when it was time to make good no response. 👎 I will be taking this up with the BBB.

Brown AC and heating really took care of us. We had our furnace replaced about a month by someone who turned out to be less than reputable. Matthew came to look at everything and let me know right away about the poor installation and how to best fix it. The team of guys that came and performed the work were very professional and they even went the extra mile to make sure that our system would run efficiently. I would absolutely recommend!!

Communication was key. From time the appointment was set by AHS I was notified by Browns AIR & HEAT about the appointment and every step of the way. Charles came out, very polite and professional and even took time to explain what happened to my AC and recommendation for future steps.

It was written up as an existing issue which it wasn’t. So my warranty denied the claim, I would’ve been happy just to of been quoted an evaporator coil cleaning. Not the massive $4200 claim knowing it wouldn’t be approved.
