Service person was Chris. He did everything that was necessary to get my system in order. His service was wonderful and he was very detailed.
-
Chris was very courteous and did a thorough job with the inspection and tune up on my furnace. I have used Brown Air Conditioning to service my ac and heating units for several years now. I am very satisfied with their service and highly recommend them.

So many people tried to fix my A/C and couldn't. But you guys did! Thank you. Chris/Kris is a professional, caring, great employee. He works fast and accurately. You should hold on to him!! He truly is the best of the best! My overall experience with Brown Air Conditioning was excellent. I will never use anyone else.

Brown Air conditioning is absolutely amazing! I called on a Saturday and spoke with Shauna and she was so helpful. Had someone out within a few hours! Matt the technician that came was so knowledgeable and kind. They always go above and beyond ! Highly recommend using them!

Tech arrived on time. Took their time explaining issue, and went above and beyond to get it fixed for us. Highly recommend.
-
The tech was on time, efficient, and friendly. He was able to diagnose and fix the issue quickly.

Very good service, polite, and professional. He explained everything even if he found nothing wrong. Informed me not to hesitate to call AHS within 30 days if AC stop working again. He will be back. The AC repair man got information off unit in the attic so he can contact the manufacturer because it is old and want to have on his records. Thank you.

I appreciate the follow up call I received from Brown AC. My failure in communication was with my home warranty service not Brown. They were kind enough to patch the problem for me.

A/C installed with the house construction died. Charles quickly determined my home’s actual heating/cooling needs, and offered estimates for part replacement or whole unit replacement, offering smart guidance on the pros/cons of each.
Thorough pre-service communication via email, text, and phone. His team arrived on-time, professionally attired, and got right to work, ensuring floor protection blankets were laid out.
A couple hours later, we had a super-quiet unit installed and operating. The team cleaned up after themselves, and oriented me to the new unit & thermostat.
Geronimo & Jorge were punctual, courteous, expert and professional!
Within a couple hours, Charles stopped by to review the installation and ensure it was working properly and that I was satisfied.
THIS is how all home repair companies and people should operate. A good service, good product, professionally delivered at a fair price. I highly recommend Brown Air & Heat, and they’ll absolutely be my first call for any future needs. -
If I could give ZERO stars than I would (standard phrase used when the service is just this poor).
Don't know the name of the technician that was sent to us, but he clearly didn't want to help. He worked on the machine for 30 minutes and determined we needed a new board. 3 weeks, yes 3 weeks later he comes back and works for 1 hour and determines there is a faulty sensor that he doesn't think he will be able to get from the supplier. The unit is less than 10 years old.
In the 3 weeks between service, repeated phone calls by myself and wife were made with few answers. It was only after a terse phone call did the office contact the technician and service was made 4 days later.
It was clear the technician was trying to make it look like we needed a new unit. Kick back from the home warranty??? After they reported to our home warranty we asked for a 2nd opinion and a new company came out and fixed it the SAME day.
Just terrible service. -
Brown was quick to respond to each request we had while determining the issue with our AC. Unfortunately, they were not able to complete our repair due to the compressor being ordered through the manufacturer for warranty and kept us without AC for over a month. We have American Home Shield, and Brown was on their list of AC & Heating companies to handle repairs. They were very responsive and trustworthy. The delay from the manufacturer was not due to any fault of Brown AC & Heat. We finally decided to install a whole new system with another company (which we had used in the past) to upgrade our unit, which was only 7 years old. Having no AC for over a month and the frustration with the manufacturer led us to this decision. In the end, we would highly recommend Brown for repairs.

Wildly unprofessional operation in my opinion.
Maybe they treat their direct customers better, but going through AHS dealing with them was a nightmare. I got a “free tuneup” and then less than thirty days later, after having had zero issues with the unit, and passing the tuneup, my system stops working completely. They come back out (for a service fee) and tell me I need to replace a coil that had just been replaced within the last six months due to mold. Once Brown replaces the coil this go around, they leave, and then twenty minutes later I find the outdoor unit dumping all the freon they just put in there and now I needed a whole new outdoor unit. Warranty did not cover all repairs, of course. I can’t help thinking I wouldve been fine if not for the tune up. I could go on and on with how terrible it was to deal with this company from the unprofessional nature of the tech staff to the office staff, to the delays and more. Ultimately they are part replacers, not technicians. I would steer clear of this business. -
Tobin was great. He continued to text updates on his timeframe which is greatly appreciated since I have to take off work. He was very detailed about the issue and helped me understand the problem with the solution

Brown Air & Heat has completely earned my trust. After I submitted a claim through my home warranty, they reached out within minutes to schedule the visit — no hassle, clear communication, and everything stayed smooth from there. They confirmed the appointment the day before, sent a heads-up text before arriving, and made the whole process feel buttoned-up and easy.
Matthew Brown, the tech, is just a solid human being. Friendly, upbeat, professional — one of those people who never meets a stranger and clearly takes pride in doing the job right.
Yes, he ran a bit late both times — but here’s the thing: I’ve been around enough medical professionals (especially the incredible women in my life) to know that when someone is late, it often just means they’re giving someone else the time and attention they need. That’s exactly the kind of care I want when it’s my turn — and Matt delivered.
They’ve now replaced my coils and a fan motor, and most of it was covered by the warranty. I’m back to normal, and honestly? I wouldn’t think twice about calling them again.
They’ve made a lifelong customer out of me. -
TLDR: Will not work with you to schedule an appropriate time block for a visit. Will come early and try to tell you policy says something it doesn’t. And then will conduct two visits and be requested for a third in the course of three weeks and will not resolve anything and you will be looking for a new contractor. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Requested service through AHS for our A/C unit tripping a breaker and was assigned Brown A/C and Heat as the contractor. Technician was Chris. Scheduling was horrible: First off, they send an email the day prior with a time to start work. They call you the day of with a 2 hour service window and then tell you they are running early and will not be available during the actual service window. We were able to accomodate, to the best of our ability, them being early the first two appointments, but the third appointment was the last straw. We hadn’t had A/C from 12/20/25 until presently (1/2/26). We received an email on 12/26/25 that our appointment would start at 9am which worked with us. We received another email on the same day changing the appointment to 12pm and then another on the day of service changing it to 11am. Chris called to give us our window on 12/29/25 of 11am-2pm. I tried to see if he would be willing to come at 1130am so my spouse and I could make it back from a medical appointment. (Mind you, the other visits Chris made, barely conflicted with our schedules and if we would have slid them by half an hour we could have been there on time and there was no coordination of appointments beforehand. Just an email with a start time a business day before and a call the day of. We DID NOT have a say in the appointment window.) Chris replied and said, “Actually, I’m running a bit early and am planning to be at your home by 1030am.” I replied emphasizing he had literally just told me the service window was from 11am-2pm and the email said the same thing. And my spouse and I were going to be at medical appointments. He tried to say that AHS policy states that we have to have someone available at the home from 8am-5pm per the warranty policy. However, the policy does not state this and actually says, “The diagnosis appointment will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time during normal weekday business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM). You agree to make yourself reasonably available during normal business hours for services under this Plan Agreement to be provided.” My spouse and I were on holiday break from work but had 3 recurring medical appointments that only last an hour spread throughout the past two weeks. If Chris/Brown A/C & Heat had actually reached out to schedule a “mutually convenient time,” they would have found my spouse and I were definitely reasonably available other than the 1.5 hr block for a medical appointment and transit to and from. Secondly, Chris did diagnose our fan motor was having issues. But he only checked the outside unit and not the inside during the diagnostic appointment. He came 2 days later to install the fan motor and the A/C unit started running again, but he did not come inside to see if it was blowing air. He told us to monitor and then we noted that the A/C unit was on and running but barely any air was coming out. So we put in a follow-up request for a third visit and decided to cut Chris/Brown A/C & Heat out of the picture. The diagnostic meeting lasted 30 minutes and the second visit with the fan motor he installed while I wasn’t present at the home (I was at a medical appointment, which I notified him when he called that morning). He did stay to explain, but DID NOT go into the house to ensure a proper op-test was completed. Lastly, DO NOT let AHS schedule your contractor to be Brown A/C and Heat. Call and request a different one. They are very disrespectful of your time and will not actually try to ensure your unit works properly after fixing. -
I want to thank Brown Air Conditioning and Heating for an amazing job today replacing my A/C and heating units. They were prompt, efficient, and professional as always. My quote was within $500 of last year's quote when I started saving up for this big job. I highly recommend their entire team and l am looking forward to my new equipment lasting 15 years like my old pair.
