As promised I called Modern Plumbing again to have a water heater replaced. The quote was the best I received and the next day it was replaced. Junior & Irving did a tremendous job removing the old one and installing the new water heater. They were communicative and followed all safety guidelines including masks and sanitizing area afterwards. And that is why I will chose Modern Plumbing again!

Had a late in the day need to replace a pinhole leak in a water line in a closet. Called Modern and they answered the phone and had two professionals out to the house within the hour. Konnor & Chris took their time to fix the leak correctly while limiting wall cuts as much as possible. After hearing of their history it's great to hear the success of a 4th generation business and the desire to keep the Business going and name respected. Will call them again for any plumbing need.

If you are looking for a great plumbing company, call Modern. I deal with Josh Hollub and he always takes care of us. It does not matter if it is a simple bathroom remodel or a commercial buildout. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and we have never had to call them back to fix anything. Highly recommend for business owners like us, or just need someone reliable to help you.

They came out yesterday - quickly - to repair an unknown water leak at my daughters house. They found a simple loose fitting just inside the meter line to the house. Could have made up all sorts of stuff, but simply charged one hour labor for digging and tightening the fitting - and left the property looking nice - appreciate the work, guys!

Our drain was jammed we called this company they came spend 4hrs using drain cleaner in sewer and toilet. I told them behind building there is some napkins coming out they said thats nothing and they told me they need to bring big equipment to fix the problem which will cost additional $660. I told no.
They didnt fix the problem and took $540 service charge.
Next day one of my friend came she said I just need 15 minutes to fix the problem. She rented drain cleaner and used in behind building and problem solved.

Anybody wants to make money just rent drain cleaner go n take ur service charge from customer that’s easy.

I recently had Modern Plumbing come out to Friendswood to replace and install my garbage disposal. The service was excellent and Johnny was super friendly! They arrived quickly and took care of my problem quickly! The garbage disposal works perfectly and better than my previous disposal. I will definitely recommend Modern to anyone!

I would definitely recommend Modern Plumbing. They replaced my a/c unit, furnace and all duct work at a very good price. They were on time and Jacob was very good at not trying to get us to purchase something we did not need. A big thank you to this company. The work was also completed in a day and a half.

Irving and Marcus did great work fixing a broken water line, quick and efficient and a very reasonable price. Had the line fixed and water back up and running same day after the city identified the break before the meter. Will definitely use Modern again.

Had Modern Plumbing put a new toilet in my home and they made some very deep scratches with their cart on their 8/21/23 installation. They have yet to repair!
Modern Plumbing tried only once to repair the deep scratches with no success - only might it worse!!!

It's a great business, Albert and Eddie. Run a good and great plumbing supply company work. They do house calls. Business calls not just plumbing, but with gas too.

Had a plumbing issue in my house that was built in 1960. Washer and kitchen were draining into the front yard. They came out and gave me an estimate which included tunneling under the foundation and rerouting new drain lines around the house. Very happy with their work and professionalism, and felt the price was fair.

Excellent service. Had a plumbing emergency with broken hot water heater on holiday evening. These guys quickly responded and replaced the hot water heater that evening. They were upfront and transparent with pricing and didn't try to take advantage of the situation. The staff, employees, and call line were all fantastic! I would recommend them for anyone needing plumbing work.

Modern plumbing replaced my hot water heater after I found it leaking through the roof in the garage. The bottom had rusted out, it was installed in 2009. They were very quick and efficient, total of 90minutes to replace. The new one was delivered while the old one was being removed. I am very pleased with the service.

Called out for shower cartridge to be replaced which should have been under an hour of work. Plumbers were in their 20’s and showed up with no tool to change the cartridge. They said it broke last week and he did not have one. They used pliers and vice grips and broke the stem off. Therefore I had to get a new shower valve and trim kit. Had to cut into wall, big ordeal. Then later on flooded the shower with water on floor. They charged me $651. Disputed everything with owner/manager and only gave me $175 back for the new trim that was not even matching my other faucets. It was chrome and not brushed nickel. I will never use them again and advise against anyone else using them.

I actually had them here to fix my AC. I was getting poor circulation and it turns out the builder did not configure the plenum correctly. Jacob and his team did an amazing job and now my house is finally cool!

100% recommend this plumbing company for the Pasadena area! I have used them multiple times and even in an emergency. They have been professional, kind and efficient. And prices are always reasonable. I never leave reviews and feel the need to do so for them.

$150 for absolutely nothing. Showed up, looked at our tankless water heater, said they don't work with that brand and then proceeded to give me an invoice for $150 for approximately 15 minutes of their time.

More importantly they had zero recommendations on another company I should reach out to which could help fix our hot water problem.

1 Star is too high. Don't waste your time with this company.

Absolutely recommend this company! Called them at 8am for an underground pipe leak, they showed up less then two hours later. Hunter and Miguel worked quickly and efficiently. Was not charged outrageously fees for parts and labor like other plumbing company’s do. Modern has earned a customer for life. Thank you for your excellent customer service!

I cannot speak more highly of the service we received today. I had two technicians out here trying to solve a severely clogged bathtub and a major leak behind the wall in our master shower. Previously in the week we had been swindled by a different, big name plumbing company, solving nothing and charged us a ridiculous amount. The techs from Modern Plumbing were professional, affordable , AND FIXED THE PROBLEM! . I’m glad to know there are still honest tradesmen’s out there.

We had Modern Plumbing come and put in a walk in shower. They did an exceptional job ! Very honest company, there rates were very reasonable! Will definitely call them again and recommend them to family and friends !
