Bay Area Roofers replaced our roof yesterday, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Their team was professional, punctual, and incredibly thorough throughout the entire process. They kept the area clean, communicated clearly, and the craftsmanship is outstanding—our roof looks amazing!

Bay Area Roofers is a great company to work with! We talked with 3 other roofing companies want got minimal info about the process/materials/crew and high pressure to file an insurance claim (one didn’t even quote a cash price) and 1-week wait for those who did quote. Once we contacted BAR, Aaron promptly came out, examined our roof (outside and attic) and provided a cash quote in the same visit. No pressure for insurance; the only sales guy to actually examine the decking/fans in the attic; very thorough explanation including drawings of our roof and product specs. BAR is a family owned business with their own trained, experienced crews, which we also found to be a big difference and advantage. Remarkably, they were also the lowest quote we received! On installation day, Aaron and his crew (18 guys!) came early with supplies. Setup (plant/pool protection), demo, installation and cleanup were all done in one day! Cleanup was thorough - no nails left behind - and the guys put all the patio furniture and plants back in place. We were so impressed with every aspect of this job and highly recommended this business. Thank you, Bay Area Roofers!

I can't really say enough good things about Bay Area Roofing. I selected them after asking friends on Facebook to recommend a good roofing contractor. I got bids from the top three recommendations and Bay Area Roofers were the easy choice. Not even close. They didn't have the cheapest bid but the cheapest bid is almost never the right choice. They were not that much more expensive and since I knew I had to live with this decision for a long time I wanted to get the best job more than the 'best' price.

Here's what I liked about them in the order that mattered to me:

#1 - Reliability/reputation - I know jack about roofing systems. All new roofs look about the same to me. But I know that the product matters and the installation matters. When the roofer is done unless you are going to risk life and limb getting up your roof and inspecting it, you are going to walk around the house and write a check and hopefully never see your roofer again. Point is you can't make a quality assessment from the ground so you rely on the reputation of the roofer. Bay Area Roofers have solid reviews for a reason - they are the best. For proof read on...

#2 - GAF lifetime warranty - Bay Area Roofers use the best composite shingle available. And it comes with a lifetime (of the owner) manufactures warranty. Bay Area has a 7 year warranty on top of that. Hopefully I won't have to use either but I like knowing both the manufacturer and the installer have been around for a long time and WILL BE around for a long time.

#3 - Nathan and his crews - Nathan the owner came out to bid the job personally. He is the second generation owner and you can tell he is a successful organized business man. His communication skills are top notch with regular statuses and follow up calls. Everyone of his employees were fast efficient and friendly. There was a job foreman on the site the whole time.

#4 - Schedule - The crew showed the day they said they would. They worked from sun up till sun down and completed the job in two days.

#5 - Price - Like I said not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. You get what you pay for. Get someone who you know will be there to stand behind their warranty. The lowest bidder likely won't be in business in the long run.

These are my initial impressions. If I have any issues I will update this post. If you don't see any updates, you can assume I'm still a happy customer.

The teams that did the work were great. They kept us informed of the progress and next steps. They also did well working through a storm on Tuesday.

Bay Area Roofers were outstanding professionals and completely over hauled our 1979 home with a new front porch, roof, hardy siding, paint, new garage door (not shown in after pic) and gutters in August 2021. We are incredibly happy with their professional and friendly crews who answered all our questions and were very willing to discuss details throughout the process. Their attention to every detail is what stuck out the most to us on how we liked finishing touches. This was the 2nd time we used their service in the past 6 years with the first use being a new back porch and patio concrete addition and also new windows and doors for the entire house. They continue to be an outstanding and affordable community company with a stellar reputation that they care to maintain! 5 Stars to them! I included the before and after pictures below.

We are very satisfied with the entire process from start to finish! From design through construction, our salesman, the office staff and construction crews were with us the entire way. Our new patio, siding, and roof turned out better than we even hoped for. We highly recommend Bay Area Roofers for any services they offer and will be using them again for future projects.

Thank you to Nathan and his team, for the perfect back yard transformation. I have done many home improvement projects over the years and none of them have went this smooth. The quality of the work was excellent, and so was the communication thru out the project. They had to cut into my roof on three sides of the house to create this vaulted patio cover, and did a great job making my roof lines match.

I would like to add after this project was complete I had a city inspector tell me my water heater jack was not up to code. (not related to the patio)
So I gave Nathan a call and he had a guy come replace it with in three hours. You will not find a better service provider.

Aaron with Bay Area Roofers provided a quick estimate for soffit and roof decking repair. Matched the 50-year shingles, and the paint for eaves and soffit repairs by their carpenters. Performed work within 2 weeks of quote at a reasonable price. Worked around gutters and cleaned up yard from debris.

We couldn't be happier with the job Bay Area Roofers did on our house. They replaced the roof, all siding, eaves, soffits, gutters five windows, and painted the entire house. We were impressed with everyone we dealt with. Karl, the salesman, was very professional, always responsive, and everything happened exactly as he said it would. Herminio, Cesar, and all the guys we spoke with made it very clear that they take a lot of pride in their workmanship and in doing the job right. We got a total of four bids on the roof, and Bay Area Roofers was the lowest, but we feel the quality was second to none. They use Sherwin Williams for their paint, and we had one of their designers come to the house for a nominal fee to help with our paint selections. BAR has made it abundantly clear that they will be in the area for the long haul and will fix any issue that may arise with the work performed. If you're looking for a company that you can trust to provide great value, this is it.

I had Bay Area Roofers install my patio after a wonderful experience with them on my roofing job. The entire process was easy and handled very well. They did all the city permits all I had to do was my HOA approval. They finished on time as promised and did quality work. The most IMPORTANT thing is I didn't pay a dime until they finished and we did a final walk through. That is rare these days.

I had an outstanding experience with Bay Area Roofers from start to finish. The sales team was up-front, easy to work with, and very responsive—they patiently answered all my questions and made the process straightforward.

I requested that the roof be completed in a day or day and a half, and the crew delivered exactly that. They arrived early, worked efficiently all day, and wrapped up before 6:30 PM—truly impressive for a full tear-off and replacement.

They went above and beyond to protect my home and landscaping, and their cleanup was exceptional. You could barely tell they’d been there—down to raking the grass flattened by their tarps. The new roof looks fantastic, and they even hand-painted the flashing to match the color of the house.

They handled all the permitting, construction, electrical, and painting, and I didn’t have to deal with any issues throughout the entire process. For our first major construction project, I wish I could give Bay Area Roofers 6 stars. Very communicative, professional, clean, and FAST! You can see in the second picture I posted how clean everything was after day 1 of demolition! We had our back patio cover redone and it was more than we ever thought was possible. We got several quotes for this project, Bay Area Roofers was right in the middle. But I'm so glad we went with them because the amount of work they put into just obtaining a permit from the city was pretty amazing. Karl was our sales guy and he was great too. The team came to inspect our roof to determine if we needed a repair or new roof. We were given two options and we decided to replace the roof now versus later to prevent possible major damage in a future storm. There was no pressure to replace the roof. The team that replaced the roof was professional and respectful of our property. This was a much better experience from our last roof replacement in 2008.

I'm am so tight with my money but we needed a new roof. We didn't only get a new roof, we got all new siding that got painted, and new seamless gutters. Top notch quality, I didn't even think I could afford.
They gave us a quote with a catalog book of shingles. More than enough Infomation we needed. They made sure even after the work was done everything was cleaned up, trash taking away and no work for us. Even running the magnets several times through the yard to pick up any missing nails.
All different crews respectfully took care of our property.. I would say they did step on my husband's plants but plants will grow back we got a new roof..
Time took a total of one week.
April 24.25 - May 1.25
Thursday they did siding, Saturday they painted,Tuesday roof and Thursday Gutters.
There was a different crew for each part a crew of people for siding, a crew of people for painting, a crew of people for the roof and a crew for gutters.
Karl Bergman, explained everything in detail and made sure we new the ins and outs of what we were getting into.
Hermino Escoto, made sure that the job was done correct and we approved even after each project was done.
Martin, I spoke with a few times took photos of the before of where there was termite damage and old rotted wood and sent them to my phone to show me.
My husband is the one who took the photos with the drone.
The first night after the roof was done, I noticed how much cooler our bedroom was at night, our house is an older home from 1984 in the heart of clear lake, so insulation we had to replace but the roof alone made a difference as well.
